Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pembelajaran Ritmik melalui Media Alat Musik Berbasis Lingkungan Untuk Siswa Kelas VI di SD Labschool UPI. Fokus permasalahan yang dikaji meliputi materi yang diajarkan, metode yang digunakan, dan hasil dari pembelajaran ritmik di SD Labschool UPI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Metode tersebut digunakan untuk menguraikan dan menggambarkan, serta menganalisis fenomena pembelajaran ritmik. Penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, dan dokumentasi. Data tersebut diolah kemudian dianalisis untuk memperoleh pengertian dan makna yang berguna dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang ada pada pertanyaan penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan di lapangan, materi yang diajarkan lebih menitikberatkan pada pola ritmik sederhana menggunakan media alat musik berbasis lingkungan, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan tidak hanya terpaku pada satu metode saja, melainkan terdapat variasi beberapa metode. Metode pembelajaran tersebut adalah metode ceramah, demonstrasi, imitasi,(Kodaly), drill. Pertimbangan beberapa metode tersebut agar pembelajaran lebih bervariatif dan hasil pembelajaran ritmik dengan menggunakan alat lingkungan melalui materi ajar serta metode yang ditentukan memberikan dampak terhadap kepekaan rasa irama siswa, stabilitas tempo, serta kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Ritmik, Media Alat Musik Berbasis Lingkungan,       Materi  Ajar, Metode Pembelajaran ABSTRACTThe study, entitled “Rhythmic Learning by Environment-Based Music Instrumental Media for Grader VI of SD Labschool UPI. This study focuses on problems including material taught, method used, and rhythmic learning performance in SD Labschool UPI. Method being used in this study is analytical descriptive by qualitative approach. The method is used to explain and describe, as well as analyze rhythmic learning phenomena. The research data were collected by means of observations, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. Those data are processed and, subsequently, analyzed to get understanding and meaning necessary to solve problems available on the study question. The field findings suggest material teaching place more pressure on simple rhythmic design using environment-based music instrumental media. The learning method used is not only fixed in one method, but rather there are some variations of methods in use. They are speech, demonstration, imitation (Kodaly), drill methods. The methods are considered to make learning have more variations, and rhythmic learning performance using environmental instrument by means of learning taught and method set is expected to have impact on student sensitivity to rhythmic sense, stability of tempo, and attention to environment. Abstract

This article discusses the prospect and future of youth Kroncong group at the Indonesia University of Education or Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in Bandung. The focus of research subject in this study is one particular Kroncong group namely Orkes Kroncong De Oemar Bakrie. By examining the society’s appreciation towards the group performances and by implementing the triangulation techniques; results show that the group can be seen as a representative of youth Kroncong group in Bandung. Based on research from 2000 until 2017, it can be concluded that University-based Kroncong group is more excelled not only in the music industry, but also in the music development and the music organization. The group is considered as a role model and parameter for other youth Kroncong group in Bandung.

Abstract

Art is an integral aspect of culture. Almost all aspects of human life are always wrapped in some form of art. Indonesia is a country that has diverse artistic expressions. Different from Western arts that emphasize the element of aesthetics, traditional arts in various cultures in the Eastern world display elements that are more than just aesthetics. Other intended elements include the values or the life philosophy of the owner community. Traditional music always has two components that can not be separated from one another: textual and contextual aspects. Understanding a musical tradition should cover both aspects in their entirety. This paper aims to expose the contextual aspects of a musical tradition of Ngadha, Flores, NTT called go laba. The contextual aspect in question is the values or life philosophy of the community represented through this traditional music.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship, in the context of the development of art education tourism programs in higher education, is regarded as a serious concern in reflecting the role of universities in developing the tourism industry. This is considered as the universities’ efforts of innovation and creativity to improve the competitiveness of higher education goals through the development of entrepreneurship in the field of educational tourism. This paper discusses the role of tertiary institutions in developing educational tourism entrepreneurship, which in its implementation empowers potential students by providing entrepreneurship training for them to be able to manage art education tourism program events. The data were obtained by test and questionnaire were given to 30 students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who were involved in the activities of entrepreneurial training programs in the management of tourism education through the art business. The program was established by cooperating with universities, the local government, as well as non-governmental institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss a festival model which promotes innovative performing arts in Indonesia. This qualitative approach used a project-based research method. The procedure of this research began with diagnosing the problems, making plan to conduct the festival in Bandung, conducting the festival, and evaluation. Data were collected by participation observation, interview, study of documentation, focused group discussion, and personal reflection. The findings of this research showed that Bandung Isola Performing Arts Festival (BIPAF) is a festival model as a form of market for innovative performing arts. The activities of BIPAF began with selecting/curating the performing artworks, holding art incubation, making promotion, show casing and pitching, as well as discussion and evaluation. BIPAF organizer designed a meeting within choreographers/producers and festival directors, curators and promotors of performing arts in Villa Isola outdoor stage in Universiatas Pendididkan Indonesia. This meeting was followed up by performing some pieces from BIPAF in the stage of SIPA and IMF Surakarta, and Korean Festival in South Korea. This festival contains a strategy value to develop creative industry sub sector of performing arts in Indonesia.

Abstract

Art is closely related to education have the functionality to build a foundation to communicate, build creativity, realize human civilization, develop psychological abilities, build discipline, preparing for adulthood, fostering artistic assessment, and can make the learner 's become more enjoyable. In an effort to develop cultural education and national character, character education based on local wisdom can be used as a tool that can be used in shaping a generation of quality people. Moral values can be applied through art so they can build character which is the main foundation of the formation of a civilized and prosperous society. One of the arts that instills character values is Songah in the Citengah Village of Sumedang Regency. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the relationship between Songah and character education based on local wisdom. With a descriptive qualitative approach revealed the relationship between songah and character education based on local wisdom. The results of this study indicate that Songah has a great influence on the development of cultural education and national character, especially in the communities around the arts through high values be contained in Songah

Abstract

Songah is one of the traditional arts originating from Citengah Village, Sumedang Regency. This art was formed from the creativity and innovation of the people of Citengah Village, Sumedang Regency to maintain the existence of traditional arts. Based on concern and love for their culture, the community continues to make reforms so that the existence of the songah art is maintained and can keep up with the times. This study aims to describe and analyze the creativity and innovation of society in utilizing existing natural resources as an effort to maintain and develop the songah traditional art. Through a qualitative approach and descriptive methods, the researchers reveal the creative process carried out by the people of Citengah Village in maintaining and developing the songah art. This study’s data were collected through observation, interviews, and strengthened by a literature review, which was then analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The results showed that the creativity of the people of Citengah Village in maintaining and developing the songah traditional art can be seen in the aspects of natural resource management in the area. The community changed songong, which is a means of blowing fire in a furnace (Sundanese: Hawu), into an art tool called songah (songsong Citengah/songong kabungah). As a musical instrument having no tone, people who are members of the community collaborate songsong with other musical instruments to produce a unique musical composition. The development of the s art cannot be separated from the innovation of the community that collaborates songah with other musical instruments. This has a positive impact on the songah art so that it can be side by side and not less competitive with other traditional arts, including arts originating from abroad. Based on the results of existing research, the development of community’s creativity and innovation in maintaining the existence of art needs to be done continuously to anticipate being alienated and the loss of traditional arts.

Abstract

The development of science and technology is currently marked by the increasingly advanced field of Technology and Communication (ICT) in various sectors of life, including education. The use of application-based media is widely used during a pandemic. The world of education does not escape the role of digital-based media, such as learning in schools. There are times when students feel bored. Seeing the boredom of students when studying, it is necessary to make an innovation to motivate students to increase their enthusiasm. The author has an idea to create a music application. The purpose of this research is to make it easy for users or teachers and students to understand the material, especially Indonesian traditional music. The method used is Research and Development method and use the waterfall model, which is a systematic and sequential information system development model. Waterfall has the following stages: a. Requirements analysis and definition, b. System and software design, c. Implementation and unit testing, d. Integration and system testing, e. Operations and maintenance. The Mutranesia application is designed to support cultural arts learning in Indonesian traditional music materials. This app has six page views. First, the splash screen display. Abstract

Model Pembelajaran Komposisi Musik Sekolah Melalui Pemanfaatan Perkakas Tangan. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran komposisi musik sekolah dengan memanfaatkan perkakas tangan sebagai media kreativitasnya. Penelitian yang dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 12 Bandung ini  mengungkap tentang rancangan, implementasi, dan efektivitas model pembelajaran, serta upaya pencapaian tujuan untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi musikal siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan action research. Data dikumpulkan melalui  observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dengan berbasis pada kegiatan eksperimen musik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran komposisi musik sekolah dengan mendayagunakan keunikan sekolah kejuruan yakni penggunaan perkakas tangan sebagai media kreativitas siswa, sangat efektif dan efisien dalam mengembangkan proses pembelajaran seni musik, khususnya dalam membangun dan mengembangkan kompetensi musikal siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pembelajaran Musik Kontemporer Secara Daring di SMA Negeri 19 Bandung. Pembelajaran musik kontemporer secara daring merupakan proses pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam mata pelajaran Seni Budaya kelas XII tahun ajaran 2020/2021. SMA Negeri 19 Bandung adalah salah satu sekolah menengah atas umum yang mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran musik kontemporer secara daring. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui serta mengungkapkan bagaimana pemilihan materi yang guru ambil, proses hingga pada pada hasil akhir pada peserta didik dalam pembelajaran yang didapat. Berdasarkan pokok bahasan yang dikaji, metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif sehingga hasil penelitian dapat dideskripsikan secara terperinci. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi platform digital seperti Zoom Meeting dan WhatsApp. Berbagai pemilihan materi serta metode yang dilakukan guru berdampak baik pada kompetensi para peserta didik baik dari segi pengetahuan maupun hasil ujian akhir keterampilan yang dikemas dalam bentuk video secara berkelompok.Kata kunci:   Pembelajaran daring, pembelajaran musik kontemporer, video pembelajaran daring.
