Abstract

Learning can be done anytime and anywhere, learning does not need to have an age limit. As has been done by the participants of the Al Amanah Palangka Raya study group, which consists of adults and the elderly, aged between 20 to 80 years. Their education and occupation levels vary, ranging from civil servants, retirees, drivers, and laborers. It is intended that this study group has the knowledge, mental spirituality, and strong character so that their lives are calm and they can move well. This research method uses a participatory qualitative approach, with observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis starts from data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion and verification. The results showed that, First, the implementation of learning applies adult learning patterns with a family atmosphere, sharing knowledge and respecting each other's opinions. Second, the level of participation of study group participants in following learning is very good. Third, after participating in the learning there are changes in the attitudes and behavior of group members in interacting in the community.

Abstract

College graduates still contribute significantly to Indonesia's open unemployment rate. Providing materials on entrepreneurship can help students to provide job opportunities and build their businesses. This study seeks to determine the technical and psychosocial roles from mentors in the cultivation phase adopted from Kram to be applied in entrepreneurship mentoring for PLS students. This research uses a qualitative method with a comparative descriptive approach. Determination of subjects using purposive sampling. Data were collected using observation, skill testing, and structured interviews. The research results shows that the technical role of the mentor appears in the process of exposure and review of business plans. Mentors confirmed that students technical understanding was in a good position in terms of originality and innovation in their product design, business planning and detailed financial management. This was reflected by the results of the skill test with an average score of 73.1/100. Mentors are considered by students to have carried out their psychosocial role because of the ability to provide motivation and understanding of entrepreneurship. This role encourages students to feel more confident, have strong intentions, dare to move forward, dare to accept criticism, dare to take risks, willingness to learn and adapt, consistency, and not giving up on their business. As a follow-up, facilitation was conducted by the mentors to improve the students' business plans.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peran pengusaha katering Trifosa dalam memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga melalui wirausaha katering di kota Kasongan, dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Informan penelitian terdiri dari pimpinan pengusaha katering, chef dan ibu rumah tangga. Analisis data dilaksanakan secara simultan dari awal sampai akhir penelitian mulai pengumpulan data, condensasi data, penampilan data, verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis data bahwa upaya pengusaha katering Trifosa dalam memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga melalui wirausaha katering di kota Kasongan berdampak sangat signifikan, karena para ibu rumah tangga yang mengikuti pembinaan berwirausaha katering sudah dapat melakukan usaha rumahan secara mandiri dibidang kuliner dan hasilnya dapat menunjang ekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi beberapa keunikan yang dimiliki oleh Sanggar Seni dan Budaya Riak Renteng Tingang Palangka Raya dalam menghadapi daya saing dan tata kelola manajemen yang kurang tepat. Eksistensi sanggar ini tetap ada sampai saat ini dengan berbagai perolehan prestasi baik di tingkat Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, nasional maupun internasional. Dengan diperolehnya banyak prestasi tersebut, peneliti merumuskan ke dalam fokus penelitian ini tentang bagaimana manajemen life skills pada sanggar apa faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya dan bagaimana dampaknya terhadap warga belajarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses manajemen life skills pada sanggar, mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya dan mendeskripsikan dampak program life skills yang diselenggarakan terhadap warga belajarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber datanya berasal dari ketua, sekretaris dan tutor sanggar serta orang tua dari warga belajar. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi: pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1)pihak pengurus telah menerapkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen life skills pada sanggar dengan baik, 2) faktor-faktor pendukung dalam pengelolaan sanggar adalah semangat, integritas pengurus dan tutor, sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, motivasi warga belajar dan dukungan orang tua dari warga belajar, faktor penghambatnya adalah ketersediaan dan harga bahan baku untuk produksi ekonomi kreatif, 3)dampak programnya bagi warga belajar adalah memperoleh prestasi dalam berbagai lomba dan pementasan seni serta perkembangan karakter menjadi lebih baik.
