Abstract

Information system for library can enhance its services such as process of borrowing and returning collection quickly and accurately. In this article, we present a system which is developed by implementation of Model-View-Control architecture in order to make components within the system more independent to each other. The system was developed for the existing process business in the library of Al-Azhar 1 Junior High School. The existing system is so rigid that further development for additional features is almost impossible. The currently developed system by adopting MVC design pattern provides better reusability in object-oriented programming paradigm hence adding a new feature is much more feasible.Keywords: Model-View-Controller (MVC), Sistem Perpustakaan

Abstract

Social media is a digital platform that allows users to communicate, share information, and interact in real-time through text, images, video, and audio. These platforms have revolutionized the way people interact and consume information, making them a key tool in modern marketing. This research aims to analyze the influence of the social media platforms TikTok and Shopee on online business success through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. In the digital era, social media has become a major marketing tool that allows businesses to increase visibility, interaction with customers and consumer loyalty. This research highlights the importance of competition and the use of special features on TikTok and Shopee in supporting online business growth. The SLR research method is carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and reporting. Data was obtained from reputable journals in the 2019–2024 time period, using keywords related to social media and online business. The research results show that this platform plays an important role in consumer engagement, content marketing, increasing visibility, as well as the use of social media analytics. These factors contribute significantly to the success of an online business. It is hoped that these findings can provide practical insights for business people to optimize digital marketing strategies and increase competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Job Stress and Cyberloafing on employee performance with Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable at PDAM Payakumbuh. The method used is quantitative and the sampling method uses saturated sampling at PDAM Payakumbuh. The results of this research found that work stress has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, Cyberloafing has no significant positive effect on job satisfaction, Job stress has a significant positive effect on employee performance, Cyberloafing has no significant positive effect on employee performance, Job stress has a significant positive effect on employee performance through Job Satisfaction, Cyberloafing has no significant positive effect on employee performance through job satisfaction at PDAM Payakumbuh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence Recruitment, Work Experience has on Work Performance with Job Placement as an intervening variable at the Solok Regency Transportation Office. This study consists of two Independent variables, namely Recruitment and Work Experience and one dependent, namely Work Performance and Job Placement as an Intervening variable. The method of data collection through surveys and questionnaires distributed to 43 respondents. The analysis method used is Multiple Linear Regression and Hypothesis Testing, Data Processing in this study uses the SmartPLS 3 program. The results of this study indicate that the influence of recruitment has a positive and significant effect on job placement at the Solok Regency Transportation Office, Work Experience has a positive and significant effect on Job Placement at the Solok Regency Transportation Office, Recruitment has a positive and significant effect on Job Performance at the Solok Regency Transportation Office, Work Experience has a positive and significant effect on Job Performance at the Solok Regency Transportation Office, Job Placement has a positive and significant effect on Job Performance at the Solok Regency Transportation Office, Recruitment on work performance through Job Determination as an intervening variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the Solok Regency Transportation Office, the influence of Work Experience on Work Performance with Job Determination as an intervening variable has a positive and significant effect on the Solok Regency Transportation Office.

Abstract

Keberhasilan sistem informasi dalam manajemen perusahaan menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan pengambilan keputusan strategis. Model Kesuksesan Sistem Informasi DeLone dan McLean merupakan kerangka kerja yang umum digunakan untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan implementasi sistem informasi berdasarkan enam dimensi utama: kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, kualitas layanan, penggunaan sistem, kepuasan pengguna, dan manfaat bersih (net benefits). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana model DeLone dan McLean dapat diterapkan dalam mengevaluasi keberhasilan sistem informasi di perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan studi literatur serta analisis data dari perusahaan yang telah mengimplementasikan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem dan informasi yang baik berkontribusi langsung terhadap peningkatan penggunaan sistem dan kepuasan pengguna, yang pada akhirnya berdampak positif pada manfaat bersih bagi organisasi. Selain itu, kualitas layanan menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna, terutama dalam lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis dan berbasis teknologi. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi relevansi model DeLone dan McLean dalam menilai efektivitas sistem informasi serta memberikan wawasan bagi manajer dalam mengoptimalkan investasi teknologi informasi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesuksesan sistem informasi dalam manajemen perusahaan, serta implikasi praktis bagi pengelolaan sistem informasi yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Employee Employee performance evaluation is a crucial aspect of human resource management to enhance decision-making effectiveness in a company. PT Teluk Luas faces challenges in conducting manual performance assessments, leading to subjectivity, delays, and inaccuracies in employee evaluations. Therefore, this study aims to develop a web-based employee evaluation system by implementing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to improve objectivity and efficiency in decision-making. This study employs a software development method using the waterfall model. The system is developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database. Data were collected through interviews and document analysis at PT Teluk Luas to determine the weight of criteria in the AHP method. The system was tested using the black-box method to ensure its functionality. The results indicate that the developed system successfully automates employee evaluation processes, enhances speed and accuracy in criteria calculations, and generates real-time performance reports. The implementation of this web-based system enables more transparent and objective decision-making compared to the previous manual method. Therefore, this system can serve as an effective solution for PT Teluk Luas in improving human resource management quality.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Human Resource Management (HRM) strategy and policy delivery through professional communication media in practical organizational environments. Digital transformation and increasingly complex business dynamics require HRM practitioners not only to develop comprehensive analyses and policies but also to possess effective professional communication skills to ensure optimal implementation. The study employs a mixed-methods approach with sequential explanatory design, involving 135 HRM practitioners from various industrial sectors and 18 key informants through in-depth interviews. Results reveal that integrating professional communication media enhances HRM strategy implementation effectiveness by 63.8%, with interactive visual presentations (82.4%) and curated digital collaboration platforms (76.9%) being the most effective media. However, significant barriers exist, including strategic communication competency gaps (71.3%), misalignment between media format and audience characteristics (64.7%), and organizational culture resistance to communication pattern changes (59.2%). Multiple regression analysis identifies analytical-communication competency (β=0.427; p<0.01), stakeholder engagement (β=0.389; p<0.01), and contextual media adaptation (β=0.356; p<0.05) as primary success predictors. This research contributes theoretically through the development of the Strategic HR Communication Effectiveness Framework (SHRCEF) and provides practical implications via a phased implementation guide to enhance HRM practitioners' professional communication capacity in real organizational environments.

Abstract

The background of digital disruption demands a transformation in Human Resource Management (HRM) strategy. Professional communication media such as LinkedIn, Slack, and Microsoft Teams offer strategic opportunities that have not been fully optimized. This study aims to analyze and formulate a strategic HRM framework by leveraging professional communication media to enhance employee performance and engagement. The method used is a systematic literature review, analyzing credible sources from 2015 to 2024. The results identify three strategic areas for integrating these media: (1) Recruitment and Employer Branding via LinkedIn to attract passive talent and build an employer image; (2) Internal Communication and Collaboration via platforms like Microsoft Teams to break down silos and increase transparency; and (3) Employee Development through accessible microlearning and training. It is concluded that professional communication media is a critical component of modern HRM, whose effectiveness depends on leadership, organizational culture, and adequate training. The implication of this research encourages organizations to strategically integrate these platforms into HRM policies.
