Abstract

The problem of this research can be formulated as follows: (1) does the communication climate contribute to the performance of teachers at the State Elementary School in Region 2 District of Kuala District? and (3) does the communication climate and achievement motivation jointly contribute to the performance of teachers in the State Elementary Schools of the Region 2 Cluster of Kuala Subdistrict This research method is a correlational quantitative research using descriptive and inferential approaches. In this study, the population was all teachers at the State Elementary School Cluster Region 2, Kuala District, amounting to 80 people. The sample of this study was taken by referring to the Krejcie-Morgan table where a fixed sample of 66 people was obtained. This research data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of data analysis show that: (1) communication climate contributes 32.2% to teacher performance; (2) achievement motivation contributes 12.3% to teacher performance; (3) The communication climate and achievement motivation together contribute 38.1% to the teacher's performance at the State Elementary School Cluster 2, Kuala District. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that communication climate and achievement motivation are two important factors that can contribute to teacher performance that cannot be ignored in addition to other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the Quality Improvement Management Implementation of the MAS Al Washliyah Mosque in the Village of Kualuh Hilir District, North Labuhanbatu Regency. This study used a qualitative research type, with a naturalistic approach, collecting research data obtained by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. To check the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, namely with credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The steps for data analysis are using data analysis using the Bogdan model, namely reducing data, presenting data, and then concluding. The results of this study are four findings of this study, namely: 1) As for planning to improve the quality of the MAS Al Washliyah Kampung Mosque, namely increasing the ability of teachers, graduates, and madrasah infrastructure, 2) Organizing resources for improving the quality of education at the MAS Al Washliyah Kampung Mosque dividing the main duties and functions are in accordance with the plans to be carried out, 3) Implementation of Management to improve the quality of education at the MAS Al Washliyah Kampung Mosque according to the results of the research, namely; curriculum review, teacher training and construction of facilities and infrastructure. 4) Direct supervision is carried out by the head of the Madrasah on the implementation of the quality improvement program.

Abstract

There are several problems that occur in the field between the expected performance and the actual performance of MA teachers in Batubara Regency at this time. If this problem does not receive special attention and is handled seriously, the result will weaken the quality of madrasa education and even become a setback for the quality of student graduates. This research uses an explanatory correlational method. The results of this research. The findings of the teacher performance model formulated in this research are novel from the results of research which shows the development of a model for improving teacher performance, especially for Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Batubara Regency. This performance model has been tested for suitability with the most dominant proportion of influence from exogenous variables being organizational culture variables, followed by self-efficacy, and achievement motivation, and followed by the smallest proportion of influence being teacher job satisfaction variables. The order of the most influential exogenous variables shows that if you want to improve the performance of Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Batubara Regency, what needs to be improved first is organizational culture, followed by achievement motivation, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy with a total of direct and indirect influences, Spurious, and Unanalyzed who conducted tests of self-efficacy and organizational culture, achievement motivation and job satisfaction on the performance of Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Batubara Regency.
