Abstract

Resilience has an important role for students who are preparing or completing a thesis. Students who have the ability to control behavior, emotions, and attention in dealing with problems are usually known as resilient students. This research is a correlational study that aims to determine whether there is a correlation between emotional intelligence and the resilience of students who are preparing their thesis. The subjects used in this study were 46 students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Nusa Nipa. The results obtained show that there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience, with a relationship efficiency of 0.352 and a significance level of 0.016 (p <0.05. also conversely the lower the emotional intelligence, the lower the resilience of students who are preparing a thesis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in teacher work values ​​in terms of Flores ethnic culture. The subjects in this study totaled 120 teachers spread across five Flores ethnicities, namely the Manggarai, Bajawa, East Flores, Ende Lio, Sikka Krowe ethnicities. This type of research uses a comparative quantitative research approach. The results showed that there were differences in teacher work values ​​in terms of Flores ethnic culture, with the results of the hypothesis test (t test) showing 0.000 ˂ 0.05, it can be seen that the significant results are less than 0.05. In addition, the results of this study also show that the highest work value is in the Manggarai ethnic group, with a mean of 102.29, followed by the Bajawa ethnic group, with a mean of 100.29, then the East Flores ethnic group, with a mean of 99.44 and the Ende-Lio ethnic group, with a mean of 98.78. and the lowest work value for the Sikka-Krowe ethnic group with a mean of 98.12.

Abstract

Maraknya terjadi perilaku bullying menjadi sorotan dikalangan remaja terutama bullying verbal. Bullying verbal adalah suatu bentuk kekerasan yang menggunakan kata-kata atau ucapan, seperti pelecehan, penghinaan, ejekan pemanggilan nama, kemampuan fisik, ras, etnis  yang dilakukan oleh remaja (peserta didik) baik laki-laki ataupun perempuan secara berulang kali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat gambaran perilaku bullying verbal pada remaja. Teknik pengambilan sampel yakni purposive sample adalah teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu, dalam penelitian ini peneliti memilih sampel dengan kriteria di mana remaja yang menjadi korban bullying verbal, dan remaja berusia 12-14 tahun. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 66 orang remaja. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tingkat perilaku bullying yang terjadi pada remaja sekolah SMP Negeri Alok pada kategori tinggi dengan presentase sebesar 30,8 %, kategori sedang dengan presentase sebesar 52,3 %, dan kategori rendah dengan presentase sebesar 16,9 %. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan jenis kelamin ditemukan tidak ada perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Dan hasil penelitian berdasarkan aspek-aspek ditemukan bahwa pada aspek pemannggilan nama dengan julukkan mean sebesar 8.61, aspek mengejek mean sebesar 7.91, aspek menyebarkan rumor atau gosip mean sebesar 9.14, aspek ancaman mean sebesar 8.41, aspek menggoda mean sebesar 7.70, dan aspek fitnah mean sebesar 8.44.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and bullying behavior in students. This research is associative quantitative research. The sample in this study was 100 students taken using a purposive sampling method. The measuring tools for this research are an emotional maturity scale and a bullying behavior scale created by the researcher himself based on theory. The bullying behavior scale uses Sejiwa theory and the emotional maturity scale uses Walgito theory. The reliability of emotional maturity is 0.695 and the reliability of bullying behavior is 0.735. The results of this study show that there is no relationship between emotional maturity and bullying behavior in students with a significance level () of 0.446 (> 0.05), with a correlation of (-0.077).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of learning discipline in 10th grade students of X State High School in Sikka Regency. This study uses descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of SMA Negeri X iwhich amounted to 1200 students. The sample in this study amounted to 354 people. Researchers took samples using non-probability sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling with criteria. The criteria determined are Class X students who show undisciplined behavior and are around 14-17 years old. The results showed that the high learning discipline category amounted to 6 people by 1.70%, the moderate learning discipline category amounted to 204 people by 57.63%, and the low learning discipline category amounted to 144 people by 40.67%. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the learning discipline of 10th grade students of SMA Negeri X in Sikka Regency is in the moderate category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of bullying behavior in high school students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research type. The population in this study were all students of SMA Negeri X totaling 1200 students. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The criteria determined were grade XI students aged 15 to 18 years who had experienced bullying behavior. The sample in this study amounted to 285 people. This data collection technique used a bullying behavior scale based on Sejiwa's theory. The results of the study found that bullying behavior in students was categorized as high with a total of 225 people amounting to 78.94%, the moderate category amounting to 55 people amounting to 19.29%, and the low category amounting to 5 people amounting to 1.75%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that bullying behavior in grade XI students at SMA Negeri X was in the high category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how effective the psychoeducation program is in improving the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of preschool children related to the prevention of sexual violence. This research method is a study with a pre-experimental one group pre-test-post-test design. This study compared the knowledge of preschool children about sexual violence before and after being given psychoeducation on the prevention of sexual violence. The sampling in this study used total sampling, meaning all children at the Mawar Paud Post in Beru Village, totaling 27 children. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, the sig. (2 tailed) value was obtained at 0.000 <0.05. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference in the increase between the pretest and posttest results. This shows that there is an influence of psychoeducation on the knowledge of preschool children regarding the prevention of sexual violence in preschool children at the Mawar Paud Post, Beru Village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning discipline of students at SMP Negeri Alok Maumere. Sampling using incidental sampling technique. Learners in this study amounted to 55 people. This type of research is a quantitative-descriptive approach. The results showed that the description of students' learning discipline was in the moderate category totaling 26 people, with a percentage of 50.9%, meaning that some students already had learning discipline. While some students do not have learning discipline, this can be seen from the indicators found, namely the indicator of being on time in learning which includes coming and going home on time, a mean of 21.25, an indicator of not leaving class, a mean of 19.84, an indicator of completing assignments according to a predetermined time and discipline in preparing learning equipment, a mean of 20.74. Based on the results of the t test on gender, it was found that there was no difference between men and women with a significance result of 0.126 (0.126> 0.05), which means that both men and women have the same opportunity to carry out learning discipline. Judging from the place of residence, namely living with parents with a higher mean test result of 64.5, which means that the role of parents is very important to support student learning discipline.
