Abstract

This study aims to determine marketing patterns, calculate the amount of margins, profit and marketing costs as well as farmer's share in Sinisir Village, Modoinding Sub-district, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from June to August 2018. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected from interviews based on a list of questions prepared previously on 14 respondents consisting of 10 farmers from Sinisir Village, 1 collecting trader from Tompaso Baru Dua Village, 2 retailers from Tompaso Baru Dua Village and in Karombasan Village, 1 big trader from Sinisir Village, Modoinding District. Whereas secondary data was obtained from the Sinisir Village Office of Modoinding District from local bookstores and from the internet. From the internet through google searching in the form of books and theses from other universities. The results showed that there were four forms of marketing channels in Sinisir Village, Modoinding District, namely: (I) Farmers - Consumers; (II) Farmers - Retailers - Consumers; (III) Farmers - Collector Traders - Retailers Traders - Consumers; IV) Farmers - Wholesalers. The carrot marketing channel which produced the highest cost, margin and marketing profit in marketing channel II was Rp 5,429 per kilogram, Rp 6,000 per kilogram, Rp 571 per kilogram. Abstract

ABSTRACT  Giving credit program with the intermediary of bank aims to add capital farmers so that they can expand their business. Farmers need more capital obtained through loans, in order to develop farming, so that the results of farming can increase. Problems faced by farmers in Rurukan that farmers have not been able to optimize its production because of capital constraints that hindered farmer’s income could not increase.  Based on the description above, the problem in this research is how the role of agricultural credit from BRI Bank to the income of carrot’s farmers in Rurukan villages. The objective of this research is to analyze the role of agricultural credit from BRI Bank to the income of carrot farmers in Rurukan villages. The method used is descriptive based on survey research area.   The research result showed that loans received by farmers from banks is used for the addition of the factors of production used by farmers as increasing the number of labor, increase the use of fertilizers, seeds and tools, so that production of farmer could increase. The increase in production has resulted in increasing farmer's income as well. So it can be seen that there is a difference between the income of carrot’s farmer before receiving credit and after receiving credit. In other words, credit borrowed from banks have a positive impact on carrot’s farming activities.  Keywords : Giving Credit Program And Farmer’s Income

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study purpose is to determine the potential and development strategies in the area of food crops in agropolite region of West Kawangkoan District. This research was conducted for three months starting from April 2015 until June 2015 in West Kawangkoan District.  To determine the potential of food crops in in West Kawangkoan District was analyzed descriptively and to analyze the development strategy of food crops in the agropolitan region in West Kawangkoan District the writer’s using SWOT analysis. The results of the study showed that the agropolitan region in West Kawangkoan District has the potential for planting corn and peanuts because it is supported by a good land, good infrastructure of buildings, roads, transportation, market, electricity and telecommunications to support agricultural activities and also industry partnerships with other agencies for the development of agropolitan. The strategies for food crops development  in Western Kawangkoan  the farmers are to utilize the resources and skills in managing food crops of corn and peanuts, to increase productivity of food crops by using the appropriate technology, maximizing of the processing industry to meet the demand of consumers, to establish good cooperation with the Government in doing mentoring and monitoring of the distribution of seeds, fertilizer and  agricultural tools/machineries from manufacturer up to the diluent, merchants, to farmers in order to make available in a timely manner, as well as enhance cooperation between farmers with processing industry and animal feed industry results in developing regions of the western Kawangkoan as an agropolitan area. This region was selected based on the results from a SWOT analysis which was located in the first cell of second quandran is an aggressive strategy, this strategy can spur growth and development of food crops especially maize and peanuts in district Kawangkoan. Abstract

This research was conducted for 4 months starting from February to June 2019. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from direct interviews with the general manager of CV. Ambassador Agro Lestari uses a questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained from the company, Central Sulawesi Province Central Bureau of Statistics, books, internet, scientific journals and other university theses related to this study mainly involved Income Contributions. The research results showed that the contribution of women worker to family income was 25.87%. This means that the income contribution of Garuda Jaya fried onion business workers to family income in South Tatura Village is in the good category, meaning that the income earned by workers working in fried onion businesses can help families to   fulfill their daily needs and contribute real effect on family income. The average time spent by workers on fried onion business in the research area in one day for domestic activities was 5.4 hours per day with a percentage of 22.5%, while the time spent on productive activities was 6.6 hours per day with a percentage of 27, 5% and time for other activities besides taking care of family and working on average was 13 hours per day with a percentage of 54.17%.Keywords: Contribution of women worker, Family Income, CV Duta Agro Lestari
