Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the nutmeg plantation sub sector in North Sulawesi Province. These research ongoing 3 month begun from August 2015 until October 2015, starting from the pre-preparation until the preparation of research results. The examination took place in the Province of North Sulawesi. The data using in this research i.e. secondary data. Secondary data gained from the land of North Sulawesi province, to observe the production of Nutmeg in North Sulawesi province and sampling in two locations as largest nutmeg producing in North Sulawesi province knowing as Sitaro Islands Regency and North Minahasa Regency. Data examination in research using analysis of LQ (Location Quotion) and analysis of Shift Share.The results of research showing that LQ nutmeg commodity in the North Minahasa Regency in 2010-2014 > LQ value is 1, the value of Proportional Shift and Differential Shift Nutmeg commodity in North Minahasa Regency is located in Group II (Proportional Shift negative and Differential Shift positive) group that is growing (developing). nutmeg LQ of Sitaro Islands Regency in 2010-2014 LQ value nutmeg Commodity has a value > 1. Based on the value of Proportional Shift and Differential Shift Nutmeg commodity in the North Minahasa Regency is a group II (Proportional Shift negative and Differential Shift positive) group that is growing (developing).

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe the inflation rate in the city of Manado and rural areas in the province of North Sulawesi; (2) to analyze the comparative rate of inflation that occurred in the city of Manado and rural areas in the province of North Sulawesi; (3) To analyze the effect of the inflation rate of each group of public spending to the inflation rate in the city of Manado and rural areas in the province of North Sulawesi. The research was conducted in the city of Manado North Sulawesi for 3 (three) months. The data used is inflation data from January 2009 to December 2014, which analyzed qualitative, and quantitative descriptive in the statistical analysis using different test average analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the average inflation rate for rural areas is relatively high compared with urban areas. seven groups of grouping expenditure in the inflation calculation period 2009-2014 showed that there are four groups that the inflation average rate is higher in cities than in rural, which includes foodstuffs, housing, electricity, gas and fuel; education, recreation and sports; and group transport, communications and financial services. The rest, three other groups show the average inflation rate in the city is lower than in rural areas, which include: food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; clothing; and health groups. The inflation rate in the city of Manado produces the same patterns with the rate of inflation in the rural areas. The rate of general inflation both in the city of Manado and rural areas is strongly influenced by the inflation rate of seven groups of expenditure for goods and services which consist of foodstuffs, food, clothing, housing, health, education and transport.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to known the role of agricultural sector in South Minahasa Regency. The role was measured by sector position analysis and is the agriculture subsector was the base sector or nonbase by seeing the contribution of the agricultural sectorto the farming of Gross Regional Domestic Product in South Minahasa Regency. The data that has been used in this research was the secondary data by the Central Statistic Board of North Sulawesi Province, also the Agricultural and Livestock Service of South Minahasa Regency. The result of this research shows that the agricultural sector was the biggest contributor in the forming of GDRP in South Minahasa Regency. By using location quotient (LQ) analysis, the agricultural sector was one of the base sectors in the other sectors of econonomics, while agriculture subsector which was the base subsector is the one-season horticulture plants subsector. Based on the result of Dinamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis, the agricultural sector was predicted still be the base sector of South Minahasa Regency for five years ahead. Furthemore, the prediction of the agricultural subsector that have the potention of becoming the base subsector in the future is food plants subsector, one-sesion horticulture plants subsector, a-year horticultural subsector etcetera, a-year plantation subsector, livestock subsector, the service of agricultural subsector and hunting, and the fisheries subsector.

Abstract

Analysis of the financing pattern of nutmeg derivative products as featured food commodities in North Sulawesi province is important because Pala as a unique commodity that has economic value of an important food in the area. Nutmeg plant parts that have economic value is part of the fruit is composed of 83.3 per cent of the fruit flesh; 3.22 percent mace; Shell beans 3.94 percent, and 9.54 percent of the meat seeds. The specific objective of this study is to identify the type and Value Added Food Products Derived Pala as seed and analyze the pattern of financing products derived nutmeg as featured food commodities in North Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted in the central areas of the North Sulawesi province Pala in Sitaro Islands Regency (Sitaro). Identification will be conducted on several types of meat derived products will be analyzed nutmeg and nutmeg as a development financing patterns featured food commodities in North Sulawesi Province. The results showed that there are three types of food products derived nutmeg seed as the Dodo Nutmeg, Nutmeg Butter and Syrup Pala. Household businesses are identified financed by Four Types of Financing Pattern. They are the Financing Pattern of Government, Financing Pattern of Banking through Bank Indonesia, Pattern Loan Financing fellow entrepreneurs who have capital and Financing Pattern Alone. Featured Product Development Food must be improved by facilitating the entrepreneurs to get venture capital to increase the capacity of the Financing Patterns provided, or by credit facilities from banks.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the conversion of agricultural land in 2013 to 2016 in North Minahasa District. The study was conducted from February to June 2017. The data used were secondary data obtained from North Minahasa National Land Agency (BPN) and Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of North Sulawesi. Data analysis used is descriptive data analysis method by using tables and graphs to describe conversion of agricultural land in Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Analysis of the data taken is expert report of agricultural land function in North Minahasa District from 2013 to 2016. The results show that land conversion in North Minahasa District from 2013 to 2016 tends to increase. With increasing of farming land conversion means increasingly narrow agricultural land, while land conversion increases.

Abstract

Tuyuwale and Caroline B.D.Pakasi as members.The objective of the study is to determine perceptions of highland vegetable farmersto organic fertilizer. This study uses primary data and secondary data. The primary dataobtained through interviews with farmers based on a list of questions (questionnaire), whilethe secondary data obtained from the format of the report profiles the village, Village officeRurukan. Data analysis method used in this research is descriptive, by calculating theaverage score of each answer given by the respondent.The results was this study indicate that the perception of farmers on organicfertilizer in Sub Rurukan still not good. This is due to the high level of complexity to obtainorganic fertilizer, organic fertilizer is also less cumbersome than inorganic fertilizers, aswell as the selling prices of vegetables using organic fertilizer that was low also becausefarmers in Rurukan was not obtained organic vegetables certified.Based on these results, it can be concluded that highland vegetable farmers'perceptions towards organic fertilizers are still lacking, so many farmers are using organicfertilizers into reuse of inorganic fertilizers. Hence the need for further dissemination of thelocal government, to provide counseling about the benefits and advantages of the use oforganic fertilizers. The government should also pay more attention to the needs of farmersin the use of organic fertilizers, so that farmers can apply organic fertilizer at maximumlevel.

Abstract

ABSRACTSEPLIANTO MAARENDE, Analysis Income of Pineapple Farm In LobongPakasi as chairman and Celsius Talumingan and Juliana Mandei as member.This study aims to determine how much income and expense requiredpineapple farming. This research is expected to benefit the pineapple farmers toincrease earned income and be able to manage with a pineapple farm better andcan provide benefits in the form of information for farmers and those who need it.This study was conducted in Bolaang Mongondow with data retrievaldirectly from farmers in the village of pineapples Lobong Bolaang Mongondow.The data is then analyzed using analysis revenue analysis followed by analysis ofReturn Cost Ratio (Return R / C), known as the ratio between the total cost ofproduction revenue.Pineapple farm income calculation is done in stages five times the harvest.With a total cost of Rp Rp. 18.922.000 with total revenue of Rp. 30.387.000.Pinapple farmer earn incomes of Rp. 11. 465.500 for every harvest period, each inevery hectare. Results of these calculations can be conclude that the pineapplefarm in the village of Lobong Bolaang Mongondow feasible to run because it isgenerally very favorable for obtaining the value of R / C of 1.60. It means every 1rupiah cost given by farmer can produce 1,60 income. These shows that pinapplefarming in Lobong Village have economic advantages.Village of Bolaang Mongondow Regency under the guidance of Caroline B.D.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Objective of this Research is to Analyzed Comparative and Competitive Advantages of Nutmeg Commodity in North Minahasa. The Research had been done for three-months, start from October 2012 until December 2012. Location of this research on Treman Village at Kauditan District – North Sulawesi. Data used in this research obtained from Primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with respondents by used a list of questions (questionnaires). While the secondary data was obtained from the relevant departments, such as Agricultural Department, Industrial Department, and Statistical Centre Department. The research result showed that is Nutmeg Farming in North Minahasa District has advantages using calculations of Private Profitability (19,777,223) and Social Profitability (46,919,419). It means that the Nutmeg Farming was efficient and had a competitive advantage and comparative advantage. Two indicators for measure competitiveness were 1) Private Cost Ratio (PCR) show result that Nutmeg Farmer’s is more competitive because PCR < 1; and 2) Domestic Resources Cost Ratio (DRCR) show result that Nutmeg Farming has comparative advantage because DRCR < 1. It means that the Nutmeg Farming according to financial analysis was efficient and has greater potency in perfect competition market.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to assess the economic conditions in the coconut farming households in the Kauditan Sub District , North Minahasa Regency based on relation among time working, total expenditure, total revenue and contribution of farm income to total family income of coconut farming.The research was conducted from June to December 2013 in the Kauditan Sub District, at Treman and Kauditan I Village , North Minahasa Regency . Research was conducted by direct interview to 55 respondents of coconut farming households drawn from the population of the two villages, named is Treman and Kauditan I Village. The data used in this study is primary data and secondary data obtained from the office of the BP4K Kauditan Sub District, Treman and Kauditan I Village ofice. Data are analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form , as well as using the formulation of econometric models and analyzed using the method of 2SLS ( two stage least squares ) to estimate the model in the form of simultaneous equations using SPSS v.20.The result from this research indicates that the most outpouring of work time for farmers family is coconut farming. Farmers family income from coconut is the lowest. It’s because the divison of work time in a field, in that field there’s coconut farm, and the other farm such as nutmeg and cloves also. The relation between work time in a farm and out of farm is positive with total expenditure, it means that if the total expenditure increase, work time will increase. the biggest spending at the consumption from farmers family have relation with dispossible income from family, it that means if dispossible increase the expenditure of consumption will increase.

Abstract

ABSTRACTJessie Tilung. Rural Agribusiness Enterprise Development Program Evaluation In Warukapas Village, Dimembe Sub District. Under the guidance of Joachim. N. K. Dumais, as a chairman, B. C. D. Pakasi, and R. M. Kumaat as member’s.The objective of this research in to describe the evaluation of rural agribusiness enterprise development programs, based on outputs, outcomes, benefits, impact. This research was conducted in Warukapas Village, Dimembe Sub District North Minahasa Regency, lasted from June 2013 to March 2014. Data collected in this study is primary data obtained from questionnaires that have been presented to farmers PUAP funds and in-depth interviews (Indepth Interviews) to parties involved in the implementation of the program include administrators Gapoktan PUAP Esa Toroan and accompanying companion extension Gapoktan, while secondary data was obtained from agencies involved in this study that the data related to the program PUAP, Warukapas Village Office, Gapoktan Secretariat and the Central Bureau of Statistics.Sampling was done intentionally using simple random sampling and samples taken as many as 15 farmers who were PUAP’s receiver Gapoktan members of Warukapas Village, Dimembe Sub District North Minahasa Regency.The research result showed that PUAP programs provided by the government at the Warukapas Village especially Gapoktan Toroan Esa has gone well by lookingat funds that have been distributed to the who need, the increase of agribusiness activity, increased revenue from Rp. 15,446,403, after receiving PUAP, the increased of an average value of Rp. 20,927,239, PUAP programs provided by the government gave a positive impact for the community, therefore the active role of the community is expected to support government programs that would be useful for the community itself.
