Abstract

This study aims to describe the factors which determine consumer decisions of agricultural commodities to shop at traditional markets and modern markets in the city of Manado. This study took place in June 2015 until July 2015 at Traditional and Modern Market Market in the city of Manado. In this study, the data used is primary data obtained from questionnaires and secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies, namely the Manado Statistics Central Agency (BPS) and Department of Industry and Trade of Manado. Variables measured were age, education level, income, location, product, price, atmosphere in the outlets, service, comfort, prestige. Analysis of the data used is the logistic regression model analysis.The results showed that there are two variables that significantly determine the consumer’s decision of choosing to shop in agricultural commodities at Traditional Market or Modern Market in the city of Manado is the atmosphere in the stores and services. Consumer’s who want a high atmospheric in the stores, preferring to go shopping to the modern market, while consumer’s who want good services, prefer to shop in tradisional market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of income from farming cocoa farmers in the village of Tikong, Sub-district of North Taliabu, Sula Islands District. Data analysis method used is the analysis of cost, revenue and income. The results showed that the income of cocoa farmers which have land area of 0.5 to 1,5 Ha is Rp 2,392,749 and income of cocoa farmers who have land area of > 1.5 to 2 hectares is Rp 2,766,69 . In an effort to increase the income of the farming activities of cocoa, farmers in the village of Tikong were trying to increase the production and the size of the land. in order to increase their income.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the business of “Cap Tikus” in Poopo Village, District of Eastern Passi of Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This study was conducted over two months, from February to March 2016. The population of “cap tikus” farmers in Poopo village many as 44 people. Of the total population taken samples as many as 24 people (54%) by using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting a live interview on farmers by using a list of questions that had been prepared. Secondary data were obtained from the agencies involved in this study of The data analysis used in this study is bussiness income analysis. These results indicate that the production process of “cap tikus” in Poopo Village District of Eastern Passi performed by farmers themselves from the preliminary stage to the manufacturing stage. Raw materials of sugar palm (nira or saguer), firewood and bamboo are materials owned by the farmers themselves (not bought). Business of “cap tikus” is very helpful to the people in the Poopo Village because of this effort farmers can build houses, send children to school, and can meet the needs of daily consumption. Therefore, this business of “cap tikus” is used as the principal livelihood by the people in the Poopo Village District of Eastern Passi of Bolaang Mongondow Regency. *er*

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the mapping of North Sulawesi province based on the economic growth and the percentage of poverty in the regencies and the cities. This research was conducted over four months during January to April 2016. The data that used in this research is secondary data which gathered from Central Bureau Statistics. The analysis that used in this research is descriptive analysis which describe in table and quadrant based on number of economic growth and the percentage of poverty.The results of this research concluded that Sangihe and Talaud Islands Regency are the areas that have not experienced the changing over 2010 – 2014. The Regency of Sitaro Island in 2010-2014 succeeds to maintain the economic growth and the percentage of poverty above average. Kotamobagu and North Minahasa regency was able to sustain the economic growth above the average and poverty below the average during 2010-2014, regencies experienced the changing in quadrant position of economic growth and percentage of poverty during 2010-2014. “er”

Abstract

The same opportunity to work in the informal sector to encourage farmers to make the decision to allocate the available workforce to be more efficient than that of bulk farm working hours also had a busy time and leisure time. The increased revenue adds the satisfaction level through the increase of consumption and leisure time. This research is to determine the contribution of informal sector income on household income Pinabetengan farmers in the Northern District of West Tompaso. This research was conducted in the village of North Pinabetengan, in June 2015 through December 2015. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data taken with direct interviews to farmers who have jobs in the informal economy. Secondary data is data taken from North Pinabetengan village office. The analysis has used in this study are presented in tabular form. The main commodities of farmers in the village are corn, beans, peanuts, rice and vegetables and spices. Farm income of farmers is the smallest Rp 600,000 and Rp 9,800,000 the greatest. The informal sectors has done such as motorcycle taxi, buggy, stalls, food stalls, craftsmen, traders, tailors, pitchman, garage, laundry worker. The lowest Income informal sector is Rp 500,000 and the highest is Rp 2,400,000. Results of the analysis showed that the contribution of the informal sector to household income of farmers amounted to 41.10 % with an average farm income in rural sub-district Tompaso Pinabetengan north west Rp . 1,600,833 / month , the average income of informal sector Rp . 1.177 million / month . Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of coffee farming. The location of this research was East Purwerejo Village, Modayag Sub-district, East Bolaang Mongondow District. Data collection is done by taking primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from farmers through a list of prepared questions, while secondary data were obtained from village offices. Sampling method used Simple Ramdom Sampling by taking samples of 20 farmers. Data collecting method used is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the existing coffee farming in Purwerejo Timur village has benefited and is feasible to cultivate due to higher income compared to expenditure cost incurred by farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to see how much income earned by farmers. This study was conducted from July to September 2017. The data used are primary data and secondary data. This research was conducted by direct interview technique with 18 (eighteen) respondents in this case palm sugar processor and also using written data in document form obtained from village head of North Lowu Village. The data obtained will be analyzed using descriptive analysis and will be presented in tabular form. Total acceptance of all palm sugar processors in Kalatin Hamlet, amounting to Rp.3.310.000 / day of the total revenue obtained by all palm sugar processing with a cost incurred of Rp.2.411.902 then, obtained profit by 18 processors that is Rp.898.098 / day if not calculated raw material costs, then each processor gain profit Rp.49.898/day. However, if calculated raw material costs then the losses experienced by all palm sugar processing that is Rp.-2.903.902 / day with the cost incurred is Rp. 6.213.902 and each processor suffered loss of Rp.- 161.327 / day. If the cost for the raw material and labor were not included, the processing of palm sugar in Kalatin Hamlet is economically and feasible to be cultivated by R / C = 1,37.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the total income of sap frompalm sugar (nira) product is income from brown sugar processing and traditional beverage (captikus) in Lolah Village, East Tombariri Subdistrict, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for two months, from June to July 2017. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews to 20 entrepreneurs of palm sugar consisting of 2 brown sugar businessmen and 18 traditional beverage(captikus) entrepreneurs and secondary data obtained from Lolah Village Office. The analysis used is income analysis. The results showed that the production of palm juice in Lolah Village was processed into brown sugar and captikus with average monthly income from brown sugar business Rp.2.724.446 and from captikus production amounted to Rp.3.572.751. The total income per month of the production of sap from palm sugar can be obtained by adding the income of brown sugar and captikus which is Rp.6.297.197.-

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of original income, general allocation funds and special allocation funds to regional economic growth in North Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted for three months starting from October until December 2017 in North Sulawesi Province. In this study the data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of North Sulawesi Province. The data is processed using descriptive analysis research method and presented in tabular form. The resulting data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression. The result of the research shows that the local revenue (PAD) significantly influences economic growth, but negatively impacts the economic growth in north Sulawesi, the general allocation fund (DAU) has a significant effect and has a positive effect on economic growth in North Sulawesi Province and The Special Allocation Fund (DAK), shows that there is no significant effect on economic growth in the Province of North Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how far the limits of city influence on the surrounding area (case study: Manado City, Bitung City, Tomohon City, and Kotamobagu City). The data used in this research is secondary data. The variables measured in this study include population (soul) and distance (km). In this research the analysis used is Breaking Point. The study took place from October to April starting from preparation, data collection, to the production of research results. The location of the research was conducted in Manado City. The results showed that the development of City Region (BWK) of Manado City, Bitung, Tomohon, and Kotamobagu, has different influence limits. BWK Manado City Center has a stronger boundary of influence over Airmadidi, Tondano Utara, Bitung and Amurang areas. BWK Bitung City Center has stronger limits of influence, especially on Kauditan and Airmadidi areas. While the area of Manado has lower influence limits. The limits of influence of BWK Tomohon City Center have a stronger boundary effect on North Tondano and Sonder areas. While the area of Manado has lower influence limits. Similarly, the Influence Limits of BWK Kotamobagu City Center has a stronger influence limit on the Amurang and Tutuyan areas. Then the relationship of the four cities shows that Manado City has more influence than Bitung, Tomohon and Kotamobagu.
