Abstract

The objective of research is to examines and to describe evaluate the PKH already right targets, and how commitment or obligation carried out by the PKH, and if the help of cash who received by PKH used to the education and health needs or to the other needs. Data analysis was done descriptively, served with using the table and then be interpreted. This research was conducted from March 2016 until June 2016 started from preparation until report compilation. The data used in the form of primary data and secondary data in which 8 respondent of the population. This research was carried out with purposive sampling method. The result showed that participants of PKH in Malalayang Satu village is almost right target based on SLB and social ministry criteria but the participants of PKH less run commitment also the help of cash received by the PKH used to the other needs than education and health.

Abstract

This research aims to know the dynamics of farmer groups Sarongsong Youth in Tumatangtang One Vilage Sub-District South Tomohon. This research method was using study case. Data is taken from primary data and secondary data from February 2016 until April 2016, primary data was conducted with interview techniques using a list of questions while the secondary data were taken from the Office of Neighborhood, Office districts and local Office of Agricultural Extension, Fisheries and Forestry (BP3K). All members of the Group of farmers Sarongsong Youth Tumatangtang Villages One Sub-district South Tomohon became the source of the respondents in this study. Variable research includes the 8 (eight) factor is the dynamics of farmer groups, namely: the purpose of the group, group structure, group functions, the function of the coaching group, group cohesiveness, the atmosphere, the pressure group on a group of farmers, farmer groups and effectiveness. The data obtained in the analyses are descriptive, and the results obtained are presented in the form of a percentage of the Table. The research results showed that farmers group dynamics Sarongsong Youth in Tumatangtang Neighborhoods One Sub-district South Tomohon is a good category. This is especially shown by factors the dynamics of farmer groups in addition to the pressure on the group, which is due more to sub factor is still less. Farmers group dynamics Sarongsong Youth needs to be improved again, especially the factor of pressure on the group. Should be given its own awards to members of the other groups in order to provide more motivation for them is appropriate, especially when there are more who contribute to a group.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of employment and analyze changes in the structure of employment by employment and employment status in North Sulawesi Province. This study uses secondary data of Population Census, National Labor Force Survey, and North Sulawesi in Figures 2010 and 2015. Data analysis using simple calculation method, that is data according to employment and job status calculated percentage then displayed in table and graph form to explain about changes of labor structure in North Sulawesi Province. The results showed that employment opportunities according to employment in North Sulawesi Province dominated by three sectors, namely the agricultural sector, service sector, and trade sector. Sectors in the secondary sector are low in providing employment opportunities in North Sulawesi. If employment is simplified into three sectors, namely primary, secondary and tertiary sectors, then the largest employment opportunities are in the tertiary sector (trade, transportation, finance, services), then primary (agriculture), and the lowest in the secondary sector (mining , industry, electricity and buildings). Based on employment status, the highest percentage is to work as a worker/employee/employee with an increasing tendency. However, when grouped into formal and informal sectors, the highest employment opportunity is in the informal sector. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that job opportunity of agriculture sector still dominates employment in North Sulawesi. The role of agriculture/primary sector in providing job opportunities decreased; on the contrary the service sector/tertiary role was increasing. Employment opportunities by employment status in North Sulawesi, the highest percentage is employed as laborers/employees/employees. The role of the formal sector in providing employment increases, while the informal sector is declining.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the participation of market traders in waste management in Pasar Pinasungkulan Manado City. This research was conducted at Pasar Pinasungkulan Manado City located in Karombasan Urban of Manado City. This research was conducted for 3 months from January 2017 until March 2017. Sources of data taken in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews with traders. Secondary data is obtained from PD Pasar Paal Dua office. The sampling method used in this research is the accidental sampling method, which is self-determined of 92 respondents. The data analisis was descriptive based on table of frequency. Based on the results of descriptive analysis it can be seen that the index of market participant participation is high enough with the score obtained is 1.827.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of gender in the process of making copra in Lolah Tiga Village, Tombariri Timur District. The study was conducted from May to June 2017. The data used were primary and secondary data. Primary data through interviews using questionnaires to 30 respondents and secondary data obtained from Village Office of Lolah Tiga. This analysis uses descriptive analysis. The research results show that gender role in the process of making the most copra in male labor in the activities of picking, transporting, stripping and selling. While done by female workers. The activity of stripping and separating meat is done by male and female laborers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of contruction of cement plant on the surrounding community in Solog Village Lolak District Bolaang Mongondow District. This research was conducted for 5 months from the beginning of December 2017 until May 2018. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interview to 35 respondent. Sampling selection used purposive sampling method. Secondary data was obtained from documents of Solog Village Office. The results of this study indicate that the construction of PT Conch cement factory industry has a positive and negative impact for the community in Solog Village. Positive impacts are the availability of job and business opportunities, increased income and assistance funding for activities in the village of Solog. While the negative impact is the decrease of agricultural land area due to land conversion resulting in reduced agricultural yields and other potential conflicts due to the emergence of social jealousy from some communities/indigenous peoples to the immigrant community in terms of ease of getting a job at PT Conch.*eprm*.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to find out the time allocation of women's activities in wetland rice farming in the form of nursery activities, planting, weeding, fertilizing, harvesting until processing land, and controlling pests and diseases only carried out by men. The outpouring of a woman's work time in productive activities depends a lot on socio-economic factors and the condition of her family. Socio-economic factors that influence the outpouring of working time for female farmers are age level, number of family dependents, wage level, land area, marital status, education level, and level of experience. The study lasted for 4 (four) months starting from April to July 2018 in Rasi Satu Village, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The data used are primary data collected through interviews with 20 women farmers as respondents. Secondary data was obtained from the Rasi Satu Village office. The analysis used is descriptive in table form. The results showed that the outpouring of working time of women in wetland farming in Rasi Satu Village was at nursery activities of 6.86%, planting of 22.08%, weeding of 20.26%, fertilization of 10.06%, harvest of 40.74%. But land management, and control of pests and diseases is only done by men.*eprm*.

Celsius Talumingan, MP as a Member.This study was aimed to determine the relationship of the mobility levelbetween poor and poverty people in sub Village Touure Tompaso Minahasaregency.This study was done for three months, beginning in August to October2012 in Touure Village, Tompaso District, Minahasa regency. The data wereconsist of primary and secondary data. The first data were obtained byinterviewing the respondents and the second were obtained from the CentralStatistics Office and District Tompaso. Respondents totaling 60 people chosen atrandom by using Simple Random Sampling.This research was shown that the mobility level is low and made bothends meet in Village Touure. The test resultsusing Chi-Square analysis shownthat there are relationship between the mobility level and poverty where thepoverty rate is low or not a personis poor then performeda high level of mobility.On the contrary that the poor people were low in mobility level.Residents who has a job outside the village have high mobility, becauseof the mobility for working. While the villagers who have low mobility only worksas a farmer, although there is a desire to make mobility out of the village to get abetter job, but from an economic standpoint is not possible to perform mobilityout of the village.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTIRSA ONIBALA. Orchid Plant Development Potency in Tomohon City. Under guidance of Lyndon R.J. Pangemanan as chairman, Johnny A. Tuyuwale and Martha M. Sendow as members.The objective of this research is to determine the potential for development of orchid plants in Tomohon. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The method used is purposive sampling where the respondent is orchid businessman. Under these conditions, three orchids businessman in Tomohon is selected. Data analysis performed in this study is a descriptive analysis, through the efforts of the description of any existing variable. The further calculation of benefits employers orchids, and to see the business proper of orchids by using comparative analysis of revenue and expenses (Revenue Cost Ratio).The research results showed that the potential factors that encourage the development of orchid plants are species-diverse species of orchids, orchid plant seed availability, production, labor, strategic location, climatic suitability for orchid plant to growth, and profit acquired by businessman orchids. Respondents 1 to obtain acceptance of Rp 17,980,000.00 with a total cost of Rp 14,034,792.00 and profits of Rp 3,945,208.00, respondents2to obtainacceptanceof Rp6,900,000,00with a total costof Rp3.306.000,00 and aprofit of Rp 3.594.000,00andrespondents3earnrevenueof Rp9.450.000,00with a total costof Rp3.261.200,00toprofitof Rp 6.188.800,00. Of the three respondent sentrepreneurs orchidsin Tomohonearnan profit average of Rp4.576.002,67.The Highest revenue cost ratio was respondent 3 with ratio 2.89, and the lowest was respondents 1 with ratio 1.28. Revenuecost ratiofromeachrespondentwas >1meansthat orchidbusiness was benefit.
