Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study in to determine the effect to Crop Production OfFood Price Index in Manado this study uses secondary data. The data used is obtainedfrom the Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sulawesi Province, in theform of time series data. Analysis of data using multiple linear regressi on models toexamine the relationship between production of food crops, with food price indeks inManado city.The results of research showed that the effect of Crop Production Of Food PriceIndex in Manado City is influenced by two variables, the production of food crops inthe city of Manado and food crop production in North Sulawesi Province outside ofthe city of Manado.Based on regression analysis, it can be concluded that the F-value equal to 2,07with a significant level of 0,197 which means the production of food crops in the cityof Manado and food crop production in North Sulawesi city of Manado out jointlysignificant effect on food price index. Determinant coefficient ( ) of 0,521 indicatedthat 52.1% of food price index is affected by the variables the production of foodcrops in the city of Manado and food crop production in North Sulawesi Provinceoutside of the city of Manado. Regression coefficient for the variable crop productionin the city of Manado was positive it means that the variable is 0,07058 cropproduction in Manado City but had a significant effect on food price index withP=0,092, but the regression coefficient for the variable crop production in NorthSulawesi Province outside of the city of Manado -0,0003927 was negative whichmeans variable crop production in North Sulawesi Province outside of the city ofManado had a significant effect on food price index in the city of Manado withP=0,090.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDianne Jilly Fioline Pongoh. Efficiency Use Of Production Factor in Rice Farming in Tondangow Village South Tomohon Sub District. Under the guidance of Esry O. H. Laoh as Chairman; Gene H. M. Kapantow and Celsius Talumingan as a Members.The objective of this research is to analyze the efficiency of production factors in rice farming. This study was conducted from November 2013 until January 2014. Primary and secondary data were used in this research. The primary data were obtained directly from respondents by using questionnaires. The secondary data were obtained from related institutions. Respondents were selected by using Simple Random Sampling method. The total samples are 20 members of rice farmers. Data were analyzed using the multiple regression analysis based on the Cobb Douglas model.The analysis showed that technically, the use of urea, phonska, and pesticides were efficient, whereas the use of labor has not efficient yet and the use of seeds has not efficient anymore. Allocatively, the use of urea, phonska and labor has not efficient yet, whereas the use of seeds and pesticides has not efficient anymore. Economically, all product factor analysis in this study (seeds, urea, phonska, pesticides and labor) weren’t efficient yet.

Sondakh , SP ., MP as member .The objective of this research is to determine the welfare level of potato farmers basedon marketing channels of potatoes in Makaaruyen Village Modoinding Sub District.This research was conducted in Makaaruyen Village Modoinding Sub District , occurred inMarch of 2014. Data collected in this study are primary and secondary data . Primary datawere obtained from 40 respondents potato farmers , and secondary data obtained from theinstitutions associated with this study that is BP3K District of Modoinding , ModoindingDistrict Office , and BKKBN Manado. Data collecting used simple random sampling method.The research result showed that there were 2 marketing channel that can be comparedstatistically namely :1. Channel 1 : Farmer collecting trader consumer2. Channel 2 : Farmer collecting trader retailer consumerT test result indicated that at marketing channel 1 is larger than the farmer welfare level atmarketing channel 2.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study is to determine the income and the efficiency of Ornamental Flower Merchants in the Village of Kakaskasen, Tomohon City. This research is conducted in Kakaskasen Village, Tomohon City for 2 (two) months in November to December 2012. The data used is primary data obtained through direct observation and interviews with Ornamental Flower mercahants based on a questionnaire in the form of questionnaires, and secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies Agriculture Department, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Tomohon and Kakaskasen Village Office. The data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. The results showed that the income of Ornamental Flower Merchants in the Village of Kakaskasen Tomohon City in one production process is Rp 6,694,673.61 /merchant and Rp 18,093,712.46/hectare. The efficiency of the Ornamental Flower Businesses from the R : C Analysis show value greater than one that is 4.29. This indicates that the Ornamental Flower Businesses in Kakaskasen Village Tomohon City is profitable, so it deserves to remain manageable even more developed.Key Word : the income of ornamental flower merchants, the R : C Analysis

Abstract

ABSTRACTRegina Simbar. Cost Structure of Cloves Harvesting In Kaneyan Village Tareran sub District South Minahasa regency under the guidance of H. O. Esry Laoh as a Chairman , Welson M. Wangke , and Ellen G. Tangkere as Members.The objective of this research is to determine the amount of costs incurred by the farmer at the time of clove harvest in Kaneyan village Tareran sub District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted for five months from May to September 2014. The data used in the study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection were conducted by interview using a questionnaire, while secondary data are taken from the related government agencies. method of sampling is done with stratified random sampling method based on the amount of production with a total sample of 20 farmers clove into three strata. stratum I with a total production of < 250 kg , 250-500 kg stratum II and stratum III with total production of ≥ 500 kg . obtained in this study using descriptive analysis. The research result showed that the cost of harvesting was Rp. 40352.47 / kg and the average production was 468,3Kg . Cost clove harvest every strata is stratum I Rp . 38009.2 / Kg Stratum II Rp . 39 046 / Kg Stratum III Rp . 41337.7 / Kg .The harvesting cost in Kaneyan village clove harvest was relatively affordable and provide income for the farmers who harvest of cloves.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMarlyanti Tumandung. Shifting of Economic Structure in North Sulawesi Province (Underguidance of Paul A. Pangemanan as a Chairman, O. Esry H. Laoh and Jean FJ Timban as Members).The objective of this research is to analyze the economy structural shift in from of the North Sulawesi Province . The study was conducted over three months starting from July 2014 until September 2014 in North Sulawesi Province. The data used in this study was secondary data obtained from the North Sulawesi Province Central Bureau of Statistics. The data used was the Gross Domestic Product ( GDP) at constant prices of 2003-2012 . This analysis uses descriptive .The research result showed that most sectors contributing to the GDP formation in North Sulawesi was the tertiary sector . The contribution of the tertiary sector continued to increase in 2003-2012 period while the primary sector declined .Keyword: Gross Domestic Product ( GDP), primary sector, tertiary sector.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to identify this study is what factors influence the use of paddy rice production in the Tompasobaru Dua Village District. The data collected in this research was primary data. Primary data obtained from interviews with farmers using a questionnaire. The sampling method is simple random sampling, the number of farmers as much as 60 samples .The analysis used in this research is to use multiple linear regression analysis. The dependent variable is the production of rice and the independent variable is the land area , the use of urea, fertilizer use ponska, and labor. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to show whether or not the contribution of agricultural commodity prices to inflation in the city of Manado .The experiment is conducted from September 2013 to February 2014. This research uses secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sulawesi Province . The data is taken in the form of a time series of the year 2004-2013 from the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sulawesi Province . Data is analyzed by multiple linear regression using SPSS Statistics version 20 .The results showed that the coefficient of determination ( R2 ) of the regression 0,860 or 86 percent and adjusted coefficient of determination ( Radj ) is 0.684 or 68.4 percent . The coefficient of determination of 86 percent means that the inflation of grains , vegetables inflation , inflation nuts , fruits inflation and inflation spices can explain inflation in the Manado, at 86 percent and the rest of 14 percent is explained by the others variables that are not included in the model . The highest contribution is other commodity of Nuts commodity is 0.289 percent and the lowest commodity is -0.438 percent .Keywords : Contribution, Inflation, Commodity of Agriculture

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the use of agricultural land to food security. This study was conducted in North Minahasa Regency, and the data used was collected from various government agencies in North Minahasa Regency, including the Food Security Agency, Agriculture and Livestock Office, and Building Permits Office. The data was then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the use of agricultural land in North Minahasa decreased due to the increase in non-agricultural use, and could affect the food security. However, the current food security in North Minahasa was still in positive trend because due to the increase in productivity and the effect of growing season change.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine which areas that form the basis for certain food crops in Minahasa, and to know their growth and locational advantages in every district in Minahasa Regency from 2011 to 2012. The experiment was conducted using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics both at Minahasa and North Sulawesi Offices. Data were analyzed using Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift-Share analysis in the form of Proportional Shift and Differential Shift. The results showed that corn and sweet potato were the base commodities in most of the districts in Minahasa. Moreover, sweet potato had a rapid growth in nine districts, whereas corn had location advantages in eight districts.Keywords: crop, base commodity.
