Abstract

ABSTRAKJenis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analitikkemudian dianalisa antara variabel dengan cara cross tabulation (crosstab) untuk melihathubungan variabel independen dan dependen. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simplerandom sampling (sampel acak sederhana), dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 66 responden.Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan (α): 0,05. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuihubungan pengetahuan masyarakat dengan kepatuhan protokol kesehatan sebagai upayapencegahan Covid-19 di desa siatasan kabupaten simalungun. Alat pengumpulan dataadalah koesioner dengan menjawab pertanyaan.Covid-19 adalah penyakit menular yangdisebabkan oleh virus corona yang baru ditemukan di tahun 2019 di kota Wuhan, ProvinsiHubei Cina. Virus Covid-19 mempunyai ciri khusus menyerang pernapasan dengan mudah,yang bisa menimbulkan gejala dari ringan sampai berat. Hasil uji pengetahuan masyarakattentang pencegahan Covid-19 berada pada kategori tertinggi yaitu cukup dengan 35responden (53,0%), dan kategori terendah yaitu kurang dengan 5 responden (7,6%). Hasiluji kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap protokol kesehatan berada pada kategori tertinggi yaitupatuh dengan 32 responden (48,5%), dan kategori terendah yaitu tidak patuh dengan 11responden(16,7%). Hasil uji hubungan pengetahuan masyarakat dengan kepatuhan protokolkesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19 di dapat nilai signifikan (p) : 0,023. Dapatdisimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan masyarakat dengan kepatuhan protokolkesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19 di desa Siatasan Kabupaten Simalungun.Kata kunci: Pengetahuan; Pencegahan Covid-19; Kepatuhan

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a collection of symptoms that arise in a person caused by an increase in blood glucose levels due to a progressive decrease in insulin secretion against the background of insulin resistance. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus is always increasing every year. This increase is inseparable from the lifestyle that is being lived by the world's population today. This research is descriptive in nature. This study aims to describe the behavior of type II diabetes mellitus patients in preventing complications of diabetes mellitus in the working area of the Trading Health Center in 2021. Sampling in this study using fatal sampling, namely 33 respondents who suffer from type II DM. Of the 33 respondents, 16 respondents (49%) were aged 51-60 years, the majority were female, 21 respondents (64%), the majority had high school education, 13 respondents (40%), and the majority had diabetes for a long time, namely 1-4. years as many as 29 respondents (88%). The results showed that of the 33 respondents who visited the Commercial Health Center in 2021, the majority had good knowledge as many as 22 respondents (67%), the majority had a positive attitude as many as 21 respondents (64%), and the majority had bad behavior as many as 22 respondents (67 % ). It is hoped that the community will further improve behavior regarding diabetes mellitus in order to avoid or prevent complications that can arise from diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

The community service was carried out on July 20 2020, the location of the activity was the East Nagahuta Village Head Office, Jl. IN Panjaitan Kelurahan No. 45, Nagahuta Timur, Siantar Marimbun District, Pematang Siantar City, North Sumatra, 2114. This recycled paper can also be used to make various handicrafts that can be made by people who have creative values and an artistic spirit. Products made from recycled paper can be used as home decoration knick-knacks, stationery and office supplies, and unique and creative multi-purpose containers can be made that housewives are interested in.
