Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a collection of symptoms that arise in a person caused by an increase in blood glucose levels due to a progressive decrease in insulin secretion against the background of insulin resistance. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus is always increasing every year. This increase is inseparable from the lifestyle that is being lived by the world's population today. This research is descriptive in nature. This study aims to describe the behavior of type II diabetes mellitus patients in preventing complications of diabetes mellitus in the working area of the Trading Health Center in 2021. Sampling in this study using fatal sampling, namely 33 respondents who suffer from type II DM. Of the 33 respondents, 16 respondents (49%) were aged 51-60 years, the majority were female, 21 respondents (64%), the majority had high school education, 13 respondents (40%), and the majority had diabetes for a long time, namely 1-4. years as many as 29 respondents (88%). The results showed that of the 33 respondents who visited the Commercial Health Center in 2021, the majority had good knowledge as many as 22 respondents (67%), the majority had a positive attitude as many as 21 respondents (64%), and the majority had bad behavior as many as 22 respondents (67 % ). It is hoped that the community will further improve behavior regarding diabetes mellitus in order to avoid or prevent complications that can arise from diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Hypertension Still become problem health in groups elderly. Enhancement age often followed disease degenerative and problematic health in groups carry on age For That researcher interested do research entitled connection education health to knowledge elderly about method prevention hypertension in posyandu elderly Nagori Dusun Ulu, Ujung Padang District, Regency Simalungun 2022. Research this conducted in July -September 2022 with population as many as 198 people meanwhile sample used as many as 99 people with use formula from book Lemeshow with use technique simple random sampling. Research results this state that education health have connection to knowledge elderly in posyandu elderly Nagori Dusun Ulu, Ujung Padang District, Regency Simalungun In 2022, because the p value « 0.05. Expected can done upgrade knowledge cadres Integrated Healthcare Center elderly about hypertension and ways prevention as well as increase ability cadre in give counseling so that counseling to elderly more effective. educational institutions provide material Integrated Healthcare Center seniors who are one service health base through eye related courses with service Iansia Good integrally as well in a manner special case hypertension in the elderly and how prevention. Research results This as initial data for do study other about elderly with different variables.

Abstract

The incidence of diarrhea is the inadequate provision of clean water, water contaminated with feces, lack of sanitation facilities, unhygienic disposal of feces, dirty personal and environmental hygiene, and inappropriate food preparation and storage. Many factors directly or indirectly become factors driving the occurrence of diarrhea, consisting of agent, host, environment and mother's lack of knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior. The purpose of this research is aHaUh to find out the relationship between mother's knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and the incidence of diarrhea in children aged 0-3 at the Aek Nauli Health Center in 2017. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study were all mothers who had children aged 0-3 years who came to visit the Aek Nauli Health Center in 2017 with an average monthly visit of 30 people. Sampling using a total sampling technique of 30 people. Based on the results of the study, the majority of mothers' knowledge about PHBS at the Aek Nauli Health Center had less knowledge, as many as 22 people (73,300). The majority of respondents reported that the incidence of diarrhea at the Aek Nauli Health Center was 25 people (83 30). For this reason, it is hoped that mothers will increase their knowledge about PHBb by seeking more information, especially from health workers so that the incidence of diarrhea in children is reduced.

Abstract

Antepartum bleeding is vaginal bleeding in pregnancy over 28 weeks or more. Because antepartum bleeding occurs at gestational age above 28 weeks, it is often called or classified as bleeding in the third trimester (Manuaba, 2007) while postpartum hemorrhage according to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2006, namely partly puerperal blood loss of 500 ml or more that occurs after the child is born. The purpose of this study was to find out the characteristics of mothers who experienced antepartum bleeding and postpartum hemorrhage at Efarina Etaham Berastagi Hospital in the 2013-2016 period. The type of research used in this study is a retrospective descriptive study. The population in this study were medical records of mothers who experienced antepartum and postpartum hemorrhage at Efarina Etaham Berastagi Hospital, Karo District in 2013 - 2016. The number of medical records of mothers who experienced antepartum hemorrhage was 17 cases of antepartum and 25 cases of postpartum hemorrhage. From the results of a study on the characteristics of mothers who experienced antepartum and postpartum hemorrhage which was conducted at Efarina Etaham Berastagi Hospital, bleeding data was obtained based on antepartum age 5 35 years 8 people (47.1%), postpartum age 20 years 17 people (68.0%) , 8 people (47.1%) high school antepartum education, 13 high school postpartum education people (52.0), and antepartum family income « ​​Rp. 1200,000 9 people (52.9%), postpartum family income « ​​Rp. 1200,000 13 people (52.0%), Based on the results of the study, 10 people (58.6%) had multiparous antepartum bleeding, 9 people (52.9%) -28 weeks of gestation, 11 people (64.7%) had a history of prenatal bleeding, 15 people had a history of prenatal bleeding. (88.2%), type of history of pregnancy Sectio (SC) 14 people (82.4%). The results of the research data were 11 people (44%) with multiparous Postpartum Hemorrhage, 9 people (36%) had intervals of delivery »3 years and 2-3 years, 17 people (68%) had retained placenta due to bleeding, 20 people had a history of pre-delivery disease (80 %), type of history of normal pregnancy 22 people (88%). As input material and information in an effort to reduce the morbidity of antepartum bleeding and postpartum bleeding, especially at Efarina Etaham Berastagi Hospital. the cause of placenta previa bleeding was 11 people (64.7%), history of prenatal illness in 15 people (88.2%), type of history of pregnancy Sectio (SC) 14 people (82.4%). The results of the research data were 11 people (44%) with multiparous Postpartum Hemorrhage, 9 people (36%) had intervals of delivery »3 years and 2-3 years, 17 people (68%) had retained placenta due to bleeding, 20 people had a history of pre-delivery disease (80 %), type of history of normal pregnancy 22 people (88%).
