Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa membaca intensif dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Script. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan prosedur pelaksanaannya adalah (1). perencanaan, (2). tindakan, (3). observasi, dan (4). refleksi. Kegiatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dua siklus dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, lembar observasi dan lembar penilaian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-D yang berjumlah 33 orang dengan jumlah laki-laki 18 orang dan jumlah perempuan 15 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peningkatan hasil kemampuan siswa membaca intensif dengan menggunakan model cooperative script pada siklus I dengan nilai terendah 49 dan nilai tertinggi 75,69 dengan nilai rata-rata 59,03. Sedangkan, siklus II nilai terendah 76,69 dan nilai tertinggi 90 dengan nilai rata-rata 81,74. Hasil observasi peneliti siklus I pertemuan pertama 56,94% dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 70,83%. Sedangkan hasil observasi peneliti siklus II pertemuan pertama sebesar 77,33% dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 90,27%. Hasil observasi siswa siklus I pertemuan pertama sebesar 51,51% dan pertemuan kedua 70,83% sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama sebesar 91,28% dan pertemuan kedua 94,69%.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, yang menjadi permasalahan utama adalah bagaimanakah nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Almond karya Sohn Won Pyung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Almond karya Sohn Won Pyung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, dan yang menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pada objek yang alamiah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi dengan cara membaca serta memahami isi novel, selanjutnya peneliti mengidentifikasi baru mengelompokkan dan mencatat data yang diperoleh. Selanjutnya teknik dalam menganalisis data yang telah diperoleh dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Almond karya Sohn Won Pyung terdiri dari 3 (tiga) wujud nilai moral, yaitu: nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, dan nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a decent, practical, and effective Direct Instruction-based booklet learning media. This research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Booklet development research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. The results of the research are in the form of Direct Instruction-based booklet products on personal letter writing material. The results of the questionnaire assessment of individual trial student responses obtained a score of 97.7% in the very practical category. In the small group trial, a score of 98.5% was obtained in the very practical category. In the field trial, a score of 90.1% was obtained in the very practical category. Assessment of student learning outcomes tests obtained a percentage of classical completeness in individual trials of 95.0% very effective category. In the small group trial 95.05 the category was very effective. In field trials 94.1% category is very effective. So, the research above, it was concluded that the Direct Instruction-based booklet learning media is feasible, practical, and effective to use so that it fulfills the research objectives.

Abstract

The observation results obtained were that students tend to get bored studying using existing printed books. The purpose of this research is (1) to develop e-modules. (2) to determine the feasibility of the e-module (3) to determine the practicality of the e-module, (4) to determine the effectiveness of the e-module. The method used is ADDIE which has 5 stages consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the results of research by validation by material experts, the first revision was 56%, the second revision was 75.8% and the third revision was 94.8%. The results of validation by linguists in the first revision were 71%, the second revision was 78% and the third revision was 100%. The results of validation by media experts in the first revision were 52%, the second revision was 73% and the third revision was 96%. The results of individual trials were 86.6%, small group trials were 90%, and field trials were 97%. The completeness results obtained at the final evaluation reached 98.5% completeness. So, it can be concluded that e-modules can be said to be feasible, practical, and effective as learning references. Researchers suggest that through e-module media students will be motivated to learn

Abstract

Literary work is a place and a place for an author to express a picture of life in which there are creations and imagination as well as support for life experiences that are poured out. Literary works are created to convey moral messages that have deep meaning and cannot be separated from the problems of everyday life. In this study, the main problem is how the moral values ​​in the novel "Orang Aneh" by Albert Camus. This study aims to describe the moral values ​​contained in the novel "Orang Aneh" by Albert Camus. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. techniques in analyzing the data in this study, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the moral values ​​contained in the novel "Orang Aneh" by Albert Camus consist of 3 (three) forms of moral values, namely: the moral values ​​of human relations with oneself, the moral values ​​of human relations with other humans, and moral value of human relationship with God

Abstract

Penelitian didasarkan pada kurangnya tingkat kemampuan menulis surat dinas siswa yang dapat diimplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tingkat kemampuan menulis surat dinas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan menulis surat dinas pada siswa kelas IX-D SMP Negeri 1 Telukdalam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penlitian adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX terbagi atas enam ruang dan peneliti mengambil sampel kelas IX-D yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tes hasil belajar siswa. Tes yang diberikan pada siswa adalah menulis surat dinas. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan teknik análisis statistik secara kuantitatif. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara mencari nilai rata-rata (mean) berdasarkan kemampuan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata tingkat kemampuan menulis surat dinas pada siswa berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang dinilai untuk mengukur kemampuan menulis surat dinas yaitu (1) kesesuaian isi surat, (2) kesatuan dan kepaduan paragraf, (3) ketepatan penulisan surat, (4) penggunaan ejaan, dan (5) ketepatan pilihan kata (diksi) adalah 76,55. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis surat dinas pada siswa kelas IX-D termasuk kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil di atas, maka peneliti mengemukakan beberapa saran yaitu: (1) hendaknya para guru bidang studi bahasa Indonesia khususnya SMP perlu meningkatkan kualitas cara pengajaran, penerapan dalam menulis surat dinas; (2) guru diharapkan dalam pengajaran meningkatkan kemampuan menulis surat dinas serta siswa diberikan motivasi untuk lebih berpikir secara kritis terhadap apa yang akan ditulisnya; (3) peneliti lain diharapkan dapat dijadikan masukan dan gambaran dalam meneliti kemampuan surat dinas dan dapat memanfaatkan sebagai bahan rujukan.

Abstract

This research was based on by the uniqueness of song lyrics that told about the value of life, love, and message which given by author for the listener. This research was aimed to describe the message by explicit and implicit which is found in song lyrics on “Akustichrisye” album from Chrisye. The approaches and methods that is used in this research was qualitative approach with analysis method. The data research was 10 lirycs in “Akustichrisye” album from Chrisye. Research finding was shown that in lirycs of “Akustichrisye” album from Chrisye were contained two kinds of each message in lirycs that is explicit and implicit message. Based on the research finding, it was concluded that in “Akustichrisye” album from Chrisye have two kinds of message.

Abstract

Literary work is an expression of personal human feelings in the form of experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas, enthusiasm, beliefs in the form of images of human life and the imagination of the author. One form of literary work is the novel "Promise of Friends" by Risna Utami. The researcher aims to analyze the religious values in the novel. The type of research used in this research is a type of qualitative research with a pragmatic approach. Analyzing the text in the novel "Promise of Friends" by Risna Utami, namely in the form of sentences, paragraphs and excerpts from dialogues of the characters in each paragraph which contain religious values. To complete the references in this study, the researchers carried out research at the Nias University library. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Risna Utami's "Promise of Friends" novel contains religious values consisting of human relations with God, human relations with humans and human relations with nature which indirectly can be used as guidelines in daily life. -day. The researcher's suggestion is that the religious values contained in the novel "Promise of Friends" by Risna Utami can be applied and used as a guide in interacting life

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve students’ ability in writing modern poetry through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in class VIII-A of UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Sirombu during the 2024/2025 academic year. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 32 students, comprising 10 boys and 22 girls. Data were collected through observation, written tests, field notes, and documentation, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ writing performance. In the first cycle, the average score was 54%, with many students still categorized as “poor.” After revisions in the second cycle, the average score increased to 89%, with the majority of students reaching the “very good” category. Students also showed greater activeness and creativity in expressing ideas through poetry. The results indicate that PjBL not only enhances students’ writing skills in terms of theme, diction, and depth of meaning but also improves motivation, participation, and collaborative learning. Therefore, PjBL can be considered an effective instructional model for teaching Indonesian language and literature, particularly in developing students’ creative writing skills.
