Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims at improving the students competence on electronic power system course through the implementation of E-Learning to prepare teacher candidates for vocational school with international standard. The reserach method was action reserach with E-Learning. The implementation of E-learning and classroom were conducted simultaneously. The planned action, excuted action and devloped action referred to Elliot’s model of action research. In order to achieve better result, several modification and adaptation were formulated based on need and condition. The reserach result showed that E-learning implementation on electronic power system course had successfully implemented on even semester in the academic year of 2011/2012. The site of E-learning for electronic power system can be accessed at http://besmart.uny.ac.id. The learning process with E-learning gave a positive contribution for both E-learning system and the learning process. It was indicated by the increase of student attandence, students’attention, task completion, students’respond, more time for learning, and task exercise. The learning process with e-learning also gave positive influence on the students’ability which was indicated on the score improvement of pre-test and post-test from 57,11 into 71,4.   Keywords: e-learning, electronic power system, action reserach

Abstract

The aim of this study was to improve the learning effectiveness of both learning process quality and standard competency achievement in the application of the competency-based contextual learning model in the Cooling Technique and Air Management class. The study was conducted in Elekctrical Department of Engineering Faculty of Yogyakarta State University. The study was classroom action research involving several cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 13 D3 students who took the subject of the Cooling Technique and Air Management during the odd semester in the academic year of 2008/2009. Data were gathered using questionnaires, observation, tests, and tasks or quizzes. Data analysis was descriptive using percentages. The results showed that the use of the competency-based contextual learning model on the subject of Cooling Technique and Air Management was able to improve learning effectiveness of both the process and output of learning.

Abstract

This article was aimed at examining the effectiveness of the blended learning model, namely the combination of face-to-face learning and web-based e-learning. The study was classroom action research. The subjects were students who took the Technique of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Course in the second half of the Year 2008/2009. Methods of data collection were questionnaire, observation, and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively. The findings of this study were: (1) blended learning model can improve the effectiveness of the learning process: make learning fun and challenging, able to increase enthusiasm, improve students’ involvement, provide a conducive learning athmosphere, make learning more meaningful, and increase learning flexibility (with a mean score of 3.096 and 3.219 of a score range of 1-4 respectively for the cycle I and II); (2)Learning achievement increases, all students can achieve and exceed the minimum criteria (B-). Cycle I: The score of A= 3 people (18.75%), score A-= one person (6.25%), score B+= 4 people (25%), score B= 5 students (31.25%), and the B-= 3 people (18.75%). Cycle II: The score of A= 4 people (25%), score A-= 5 people (31.25%, score B+= 1 person (6.25%), and the B= 6 people (37.50%).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara, dengan menggunakan modul pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Teknik Elektro FT UNY. Pendekatan yang digunakan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas. Tahap-tahap penelitian tiap siklus meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa  program Studi D3 Teknik Elektro yang mengambil mata kuliah Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara pada semester ganjil tahun 2008/2009 yang berjumlah 13 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan angket, observasi, dan tes atau pemberian tugas untuk mengetahui prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah tersebut. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menggunakan modul Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara berbasis kompetensi dapat meningkatkan prestasi mahasiswa. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan oleh perolehan nilai hasil belajar mahasiswa yang telah memenuhi dan melampaui kriteria minimal (nilai C). Hasil nilai selengkapnya adalah sebagai berikut: pada siklus I, yang mendapatkan nilai A- sebanyak 4 orang, nilai B sebanyak 3 orang, nilai C+ sebanyak 3 orang, dan nilai C sebanyak  3 orang, sedang siklus II, nilai A- sebanyak 6 orang, B+ sebanyak 2 orang,  B sebanyak 4 orang, dan B- sebanyak 1 orang.

Abstract

Pengembangan wisata desa tidak terlepas dari luaran yang dihasilkan sebagai konsekuensipembangunan destinasi wisata. Kolaborasi dan partnership dengan stakeholder dalamkonsep pentahelix sebagai prediktor dapat meminimalisir kemungkinan terjadinya dampaknegatif dalam pembangunan wisata. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan sebuahrealitas sosial-budaya, ekonomi, dan lingkungan dalam pengembangan wisata KampungKopi Rigis Jaya dalam membangun pariwisata berkelanjutan dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam dan budaya dalam upaya meratakan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Metodologipenelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan data observasi, interview, dan studidokumentasi melalui FGD. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan stakeholderdalam kolaborasi pentahelix selain mampu mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, juga dapatmelestarikan budaya dengan menyajikan tarian dan musik tradisional dan mampumeningkatkan literasi lingkungan sehingga terjalinnya hubungan baik antara manusia danalam. Sinergisitas antara akademisi, aktor bisnis, komunitas, pemerintah, dan media dalampengembangan wisata lokal ini dapat dirasakan dampaknya oleh masyarakat lokal.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ternyata kolaborasi pentahelix dalam pemberdayaanpariwisata mampu merangsang pertumbuhan ekonomi dari desa, meningkatkan kapabilitasdalam bidang ekonomi kreatif, memperbaiki kualitas hidup masyarakat, dan mampumelestarikan budaya lokal sebagai tujuan pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Abstract

The objectives of this research are: first, to develop an electrical power monitoring system for solar power plants based on the Internet of Things; second, to evaluate the performance of this tool; and third, to assess the contribution of this tool to support the achievement of the SDGs. The development method involves three stages: analysis, design, and development. The development process was carried out at the off grid solar power lant house in Magelang, Indonesia. The measuring instruments used for testing included a multimeter and an ammeter. Testing adhered to International Electrotechnical (IEC) standards. The analysis technique employed was quantitative descriptive analysis, involving the calculation of averages and percentages. The results are as follows. First, the Internet of Things-based electrical power monitoring system for solar power plants consists of several components, including the PZEM 004T sensor, NodeMCU Wi-fi module, adapter, and I2C Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). This system is capable of monitoring current, voltage and electrical power in real time, both locally and remotely. Second, the test results demonstrate that this tool performs well, with an average deviation of less than 5%. Specifically, the deviations for voltage, current, and power measurements are 0.49%, 2.15%, and 1.09%, respectively. Third, this tool provides significant value by enhancing the performance and sustainability of solar energy systems, thereby contributing significantly to global efforts in achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
