Abstract

Investment growth of mutual funds in Indonesia has increased rapidly due to the mutual fund that able to overcome the investor problems in making investment. The problems associated with time, information, and the ability to invest. Mutual funds are managed by an investment manager that can manage the fund in accordance with its investment objectives.This study conducted to examine the relationship between the performance of mutual fund shares with five variables that affect it includes stock selection skills, market timing ability, longevity fund, fund cash flow and fund size. The data used in this study are SBI, JCI, TNA annually, NAB monthly, and age with 59 sample of mutual funds of stocks for 2010-2014 period and the number of observations as many as 188 data.This research using the method of multiple linear regression with the classical assumption using normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test. The method used to test the hypothesis is the F test and T test shows that partially market timing ability have significant positive impact to performance of mutual funds. Stock selection skill have significant negative impact to performance, but Fund Longevity and Fund Size have no significant negative impact to performance of mutual funds. Then cash have no significant positive impact to performance of mutual funds. Based on the test results show the value of the coefficient of determination adjusted R square of 0.633, so that the variables in this study may explain the variable performance of mutual funds amounted to 63.3%.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school in its dynamic is regarded to have its own identity which is termed with subculture by KH. Abdurrahman Wahid. Honestly, it must be admitted that there is a certain tradition that grows and thrives in Islamic boarding school society. However, it is not a reality outside of Islamic boarding school society. Undeniably, when the outside environment begins incessant with modernization issues, the “uniqueness” in Islamic boarding school environment makes Islamic boarding school tradition more lively and interesting to be discussed. Environment Islamic boarding schools implication in modern time is less known and marginal, which slowly change to be something interesting among scientists and academics. One of its pieces of evidence is the emergence of an idea from part of the Islamic education observers with an educational modern system to present alternative education discourse. It is in line with Islamic boarding schools whose progress is identical with Islamic education that experiences a transformation along with changes of accompanying situation.

Abstract

Untuk memahami pendidikan dengan baik diperlukan banyak ilmu bantu yang harus dikuasai. Ilmu-ilmu bantu tersebut adalah ilmu-ilmu tentang manusia, tidak hanya terbatas pada ilmu psikologi. Ilmu-ilmu bantu tersebut mencakup pula cabang-cabang ilmu seperti biologi manusia, fisiologi manusia, sosiologi, antropologi, dan sebagainya. Sehubungan dengan hal ini, Brubacher menyarankan bahwa setiap orang yang bekerja secara profesional dalam bidang pendidikan harus menguasai aspek-aspek sosiologis, psikologis, historis, dan filosofis dari profesi pendidikan. Sedangkan Horne menyarankan lebih luas lagi, yaitu aspek tubuh dan jiwa dari manusia yang dididik, yang mencakup fisiologi, psikologi, logika, estetika, etika, dan sosiologi. Filsafat termasuk juga filsafat pendidikan, juga mempunyai fungsi untuk memberikan petunjuk dan arah dalam pengembangan teori-teori pendidikan menjadi ilmu pendidikan atau paedagogik. Suatu praktek kependidikan yang didasarkan dan diarahkan oleh suatu filsafat pendidikan tertentu, akan menghasilkan dan menimbulkan bentuk-bentuk dan gejala-gejala kependidikan yang tertentu pula. Hal ini adalah data-data kependidikan yang ada dalam suatu masyarakat tertentu. Analisa filsafat berusaha untuk menganalisa dan memberikan arti terhadap data-data kependidikan tersebut, dan untuk selanjutnya menyimpulkan serta dapat disusun teori-teori pendidikan yang realistis dan selanjutnya akan berkembanglah ilmu pendidikan (paedagogik). Filsafat, juga berfungsi memberikan arah agar teori pendidikan yang telah dikembangkan oleh para ahlinya, yang berdasarkan dan menurut pandangan dan aliran filsafat tertentu, mempunyai relevansi dengan kehidupan nyata.

Abstract

Pendidikan holistik dalam filsafat pendidikan Islam merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang menekankan pada pengembangan seluruh potensi manusia secara seimbang. Konsep ini mencakup pengembangan akal, hati, dan fisik yang dianggap sebagai tiga komponen utama dalam menciptakan individu yang seimbang secara intelektual, spiritual, dan jasmani. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menggali konsep pendidikan holistik dalam filsafat pendidikan Islam, serta menganalisis penerapannya dalam konteks modern. Melalui metode studi kepustakaan, artikel ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan Islam mengintegrasikan seluruh aspek kehidupan untuk mencapai kesempurnaan manusia. Dalam era modern, pendekatan holistik ini menjadi relevan untuk menjawab tantangan sistem pendidikan yang sering kali hanya fokus pada aspek kognitif semata. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan holistik yang mencakup akal, hati, dan fisik sangat penting dalam membentuk individu yang seimbang, produktif, dan bermoral.

Abstract

The book ta'limul muta’allim is a book that discusses learning methods, learning objectives, learning principles, learning strategies and so on which as a whole aims to guide a person on morals and morality. Akhlakul karimah are all good or praiseworthy deeds that are embedded in the human soul which will then become a good habit. The aim of morals is for humans to be virtuous, behave, behave well towards God and towards fellow creatures, so that he will become higher and more perfect than other creatures and get the blessing of Allah SWT, to finally get the happiness of the world and the hereafter. The book of taklim which is actually one of the books that discusses how a person's morality begins to enter the world of education so that he can get useful knowledge. Then mastering the material of the book Ta'limul Muta'allim will give effect to the formation of students' morality since the learning process. Mastery of the material ta'limul muta'allim will provide an understanding of what knowledge must be known, what is the purpose of seeking knowledge in the view of Islam and how they respect teachers and others.

Abstract

Lead is a kind of non-essential heavy metals included in the metal causing environmental pollution with persistent properties that might harm the consumers. This study aimed to determine the best method for reducing the lead level on the freshwater snail Filopaludina javanica using three various water treatment models. Soaking water treatment (6h, 12h, 18h, 24h), flowing water treatment (6h, 12h, 18h, 24h), and refreshing water treatment (6h, 12h, 24h). The lead level assay in both samples used Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), and the physical and chemical parameters were measured, such as temperature, pH, and Dissolved Oxygen (DO). The lowest value of lead content on freshwater’s soft body snail and water sample respectively were soaking water treatment at 6h (0.64 ± 0.02 mg L-1) and 24h (0.0045 ± 0.0015 mg L-1); flowing water treatment at 24h (0.04 ± 0.007 mg L-1) and 18h (0.0036 ± 0.0009 mg L-1) and; refreshing water treatment at 24h (0.150 ± 0.011) and 12h (0.007 ± 0.001), with control 0.072 ± 0.00 mg L-1 and 0.067 ± 0.00 mg L-1. Therefore, the most effective model to reduce the lead content was flowing water treatment within 24h in the freshwater soft body snail and 18h in the water sample.

Abstract

Filsafat pendidikan Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun paradigma pendidikan berbasis tauhid. Paradigma ini berupaya menjadikan nilai-nilai keimanan kepada Allah sebagai landasan utama dalam seluruh aspek pendidikan, baik kurikulum, metode, maupun tujuan akhir. Artikel ini mengkaji secara mendalam konsep tauhid sebagai inti filsafat pendidikan Islam dan relevansinya dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan berbasis tauhid dapat membentuk manusia paripurna yang mampu menghadirkan harmoni antara aspek spiritual, intelektual, dan moral. Dengan demikian, penerapan paradigma pendidikan berbasis tauhid menjadi kebutuhan esensial dalam membangun generasi berkarakter dan bertanggung jawab secara individu maupun sosial.

Abstract

The widespread use of LPG gas cylinders brings the risk of gas leaks that can cause serious hazards, including fires and explosions. Therefore, an effective system is needed to detect gas leaks and provide early warnings to users. This study aims to develop an LPG gas cylinder leak detection device using an MQ-2 sensor based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system consists of an MQ-2 sensor capable of detecting LPG gas, a microcontroller module for data processing, and an IoT communication module to send alerts to user devices via the internet. When the MQ-2 sensor detects a gas concentration that exceeds the predetermined threshold, the system sends an alert in the form of a notification to the user's mobile application. Additionally, the system is equipped with an audible alarm for direct on-site warnings. Test results indicate that this system can detect gas leaks with high accuracy and send alerts promptly. The implementation of IoT technology allows for real-time monitoring and handling of gas leaks, thereby enhancing the safety of LPG gas cylinder users. Thus, this leak detection device is expected to reduce the risk of accidents due to gas leaks and provide a sense of security for users.

Abstract

The book taklim is essentially one of the books that explains how one's morality begins in the world of education so that one can gain useful knowledge. At that time, mastering the content of the book Ta'limul Muta'allim will have the effect of forming morality for students right from the learning process. Abstract

A common phenomenon at SMAN 13 Semarang is that, due to the large amount of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject matter, teachers often focus on completing the curriculum targets, which causes them to overlook the humanistic aspects of the learning process. Therefore, managing Islamic learning based on humanism is an important thing that can be done to achieve national education goals and vision. This study aims to find out and analyze the implementation of humanism-based PAI learning management at SMAN 13 Semarang. This research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach.   Data collection is carried out by observation, interviews or interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that humanism-based PAI learning management in this school includes planning that emphasizes student activity and creativity, the implementation of participatory learning, and internal supervision by the principal. Evaluation is also focused on the learning process. Humanism-based PAI learning management at SMAN 13 Semarang prioritizes a close teacher-student relationship and fosters a positive, engaging learning environment. Teachers serve as facilitators who inspire and support students with patience and by setting a good example. Learning is conducted in an active and participatory manner, emphasizing the development of creativity and religious and social character. Evaluation emphasizes students' physical, mental, and social development, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
