Literature review is conducted by searching, summarizing, and combining the core of several scientific sources that are accurate and valid from search databases such as Google Scholar and Garuda Portal. The literature searched for is limited from 2015 to 2022 with the keywords "Stunting". "Toddlers", "Animal Protein", "Vegetable Protein" both in Indonesian and English. Literature was analyzed using a matrix table. Stunted toddlers tend to consume vegetable protein compared to animal protein. Implementation of Balanced Nutrition is critical to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. It is hoped that adolescents can apply balanced nutrition in the current situation so that the body remains healthy and increases body immunity. The purpose of this activity is to increase adolescent knowledge about the Application of Balanced Nutrition to support immunity during the Covid 19 pandemic through peer educator empowerment. The target of this activity is the youth of SMPIT Bina Ilmi Palembang which consists of 5 peer educators and 38 adolescent participants. This activity consists of two stages, namely peer educator training and nutrition counseling to adolescents by peer educators. Peer educators were selected by the school and then given training on balanced nutrition and its relationship to body immunity through Zoom meetings. Then peer educators provide counseling using the lecture method with PowerPoint tools to adolescents simultaneously through the breakout room at the Zoom meeting and conduct pretest and postest using Google form through WhatsApp group. The result of this activity is an increase in knowledge of both nutrition ambassadors and adolescents after receiving training. It is necessary to carry out regular training on balanced nutrition and body immunity so that adolescent knowledge is getting better so that it can improve the adolescent's immune system.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is a key strategy for improving infant health and survival; however, its achievement remains suboptimal in many countries. Family support has been consistently identified as a major interpersonal determinant influencing exclusive breastfeeding success, highlighting the need for a comprehensive synthesis of recent empirical evidence. This study aims to examine and synthesize findings from empirical research on the role of family support in exclusive breastfeeding success through a narrative literature review. Literature searches were conducted using PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar, covering publications from 2020 to 2025. Of the 864 articles initially identified, 15 studies were selected based on predefined inclusion criteria and substantive relevance to the review focus. The synthesis indicates that family support, particularly from husbands and extended family members, is consistently associated with higher exclusive breastfeeding success, with reported odds ranging from approximately two to more than threefold across studies. Family support contributes to enhanced breastfeeding self efficacy, reduced postpartum stress, decreased prelacteal feeding practices, and the establishment of a supportive home environment for breastfeeding. The mechanisms underlying these effects involve interacting psychological, hormonal, and social pathways. These findings underscore the importance of family centered approaches in exclusive breastfeeding promotion, suggesting that health interventions should not focus solely on mothers but actively engage husbands and family members as key partners in supporting breastfeeding practices
