Abstract

Abstract: Medan Aviation Polytechnic is one of the campuses under the ministry of transportation which has a major in telecommunication and air navigation engineering in Indonesia. Based on field surveys, an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) practicum kit is needed to improve the ability of cadets. Based on this background, this study aims to design and simulate two ADC circuits, each of which is compiled by the integrated circuit (IC) ADC0804 and IC ADC0809 respectively. Three statistical formulas, namely mean error (ME), standard deviation error (SDE), and root mean square error (RMSE) are used to measure the performance of the two ADC circuits. Both ADC circuits are simulated using a Proteus 8.11 Simulator with 255 analog input voltages. Based on the result of the study, it is known that the ADC circuit compiled by IC ADC0809 is more accurate than the ADC circuit compiled by IC ADC0804. This is evidenced by a smaller error value, which is based on the simulation results of the ME, SDE, and RMSE values were 0.4210, 0.3410, and 0.5110, respectively. And, based on the measurement results, it has ME, SDE, RMSE respectively, namely 0.8510, 0.8110, and 0.9310.            Keywords: ADC; Proteus 8.11 Simulator; IC ADC0804; IC ADC0809; ME; SDE; RMSE  Abstrak: Politeknik Penerbangan Medan adalah salah satu kampus di bawah Kementerian Perhubungan yang memiliki jurusan teknik telekomunikasi dan navigasi udara di Indonesia. Berdasarkan survei di lapangan, kit praktikum konverter analog ke digital diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuat taruna. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mensimulasi dua rangkaian ADC yang masing-masing disusun oleh IC ADC0804 dan IC ADC0809. Tiga formula statistik, yaitu mean error (ME), standard deviation error (SDE), and root mean square error (RMSE) digunakan untuk mengukur kinerja kedua rangkaian ADC tersebut. Kedua rangkaian ADC tersebut disimulasi menggunakan Simulator Proteus 8.11 dengan 255 tegangan masukan analog. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa rangkaian ADC yang disusun oleh IC ADC0809 lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan rangkaian ADC yang disusun oleh IC ADC0804. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai kesalahan yang lebih kecil, yaitu berdasarkan hasil simulasi memiliki ME, SDE, RMSE masing-masing adalah 0,4210, 0,3410 dan 0,5110. Dan berdasarkan hasil pengukuran memiliki ME, SDE, dan RMSE masing-masing adalah 0,8510, 0,8110, dan 0,9310. Kata kunci: ADC; Simulator Proteus 8.11; IC ADC0804; IC ADC0809; ME; SDE; RMSE

Abstract

This study was conducted on the basis of the existing problems at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic which showed that there are still some cadres who have not been disciplined in implementing the order in the institution of the Medan aviation polytechnic, while other case studies can be raised. The author only limits the case studies taken such as the most frequent and highly highlighted because involving the discipline of the taruna itself is there are still tarunas who arrive late in participating in activities in the Medan Aviation Polytechnic environment. Taruna was still indifferent to the school's order. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect between the application of order and punishment on taruna conduct in the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. with this research it is hoped that readers will be able to understand and provide an overview of both disciplinary and disciplinary attitudes that occur and exist in the field of semi-military education The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research instrument used is a picket with multiple choice forms. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence between the influence of order and punishment on taruna's conduct.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of togetherness and family factors in improving the performance of male and female cadets at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic using a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Cadets are students undergoing education at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic to prepare themselves as professionals in the aviation industry. This research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method involving data collection from relevant sources such as books, scientific articles, and journals related to the role of togetherness and family factors in enhancing the performance of cadets. The obtained data is analyzed through reading, synthesis, and interpretation processes to depict the roles played by these factors. The research findings indicate that togetherness and family factors play a crucial role in improving the performance of cadets at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. Harmony in relationships among cadets, mutual trust, and support and respect for each other can create an environment conducive to the growth and development of cadets. These factors contribute to increased motivation for learning, active engagement in academic activities, and better achievement. This research provides in-depth understanding of the role of togetherness and family factors in enhancing the performance of cadets at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. The research findings can serve as a reference for educational institutions and relevant parties in developing strategies and programs that promote togetherness and family values among cadets. By enhancing these factors, it is expected that both the academic and non-academic achievements of cadets can be significantly improved.

Abstract

This study aims to carry out the development of creativity in cadets through extracurricular activities at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative assessment. The selection of subjects for this study were several extracurriculars at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. Data analysis was carried out by going through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display and verification as well as drawing conclusions. The data validity test was carried out using source and method triagulation. And for this reason, the authors are interested in studying and researching the Development of Youth Creativity through Extracurricular Activities within the scope of Service Schools. This type of research is a qualitative method. Data collection is carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation which is supplemented by a list of questions. The results of the study show that the development of creativity at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic carried out by trainers through creativity development programs through extracurriculars is intended to help cadets to be better potential and personally. This activity is intended to develop the creativity of cadets so that cadets can channel their interests and talents and increase their self-confidence to socialize. The process of developing creativity is carried out in line with the stages of its development, including awareness and formation of behavior through discussion with a personal approach. The discussion or sharing was chosen by the extracurricular trainers to raise awareness because they found that one group of cadets tended to be more volatile than other groups. The second stage of the ability transition is in the form of an overview of the knowledge and skills realized by the trainers by conducting socialization. In addition, the provision of extracurricular skills and creativity is carried out 2-3 meetings regularly after school hours by lecturers. The third stage is capacity building by participating in competitions to have the courage to appear in society or other agencies.
