Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of smartphones on the personal social development of pre-school age children in Al-Marhamah Kindergarten. This research uses quantitative research methods with cross sectional design. The results showed more than half of pre-school age children are smartphone users with frequent frequency with 24 children (72.7%). Less than half of pre-school-aged children experience doubtful development with a total of 15 children (45.5%). Statistical test results obtained p value of 0.017. Conclusion, there is a significant relationship between smartphone usage and the personal social development of preschool children in Al-Marhamah, Majaelngka Regency, 2017. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the brain gym on the level of concentration in children's learning in fourth-grade elementary school students at SDN Cimalaka II, Cimalaka District, Sumedang Regency. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design using one group pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that the average level of learning concentration in fourth-grade elementary school students before the brain gym was done was 6.18, with a standard deviation of 1.632. Meanwhile, the intermediate level of learning concentration in fourth-grade elementary school students after brain gym is done 7.01 with a standard deviation of 1.291. Bivariate analysis showed that the average increase was 7.09, evidenced by a p-value of 0.001 <0.05. In conclusion, the brain gym affects concentration in children's learning in fourth-grade elementary school students at SDN Cimalaka II, Cimalaka District, Sumedang Regency. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tapid sponge administration on decreasing body temperature in toddlers (1-3 years) in the Melati Room at Majalengka Hospital in 2022. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The study's results showed that 27 children in the Melati Room at Majalengka Hospital experienced a decrease in body temperature, and one person experienced an increase in body temperature. The Wilcoxon signed ranks test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). In conclusion, tapid sponge administration has an effect on decreasing body temperature in toddlers (1-3 years) in the Melati Room of Majalengka Hospital in 2022.
