Abstract

The prevalence of stunting exhibits a declining trend, yet it surpasses the WHO-established standard of under 20%. The 2022 target aims for a reduction to 18%, followed by a 2024 target of 12% or below the national prevalence of 14%. According to data from the Community Based Nutrition Recording and Reporting (e-PPBGM), 1,221 out of 22,400 toddlers in Palu City were identified as stunted. This study seeks to elucidate strategies for stunting prevention in Palu City and analyze factors supporting or impeding these efforts. Employing a qualitative method, data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The Miles and Huberman model guides data analysis through stages of collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. Interviews target the Department of Health, Health Workers, and the Community. Findings underscore the collaborative initiatives undertaken by the Palu City government to prevent and address stunting, employing the "gotong royong" concept involving various stakeholders due to the communal nature of the stunting issue. "Gotong royong," a deeply rooted local culture, has been incorporated into the program to expedite stunting intervention. The Nosiala Pale program emerges as a crucial action in stunting prevention and management, aligning with Palu City government's policy to alleviate stunting.

Abstract

Resolving conflicts between students in Islamic boarding schools requires an approach based on positive values, such as peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding. This study examines the role of teachers as mediators in conflict resolution in Islamic boarding schools, using conflict management theory that emphasizes separating problems from personal relationships and finding mutually beneficial solutions. The purpose of this study is to understand how teachers in Islamic boarding schools can manage conflicts with a constructive approach and prioritize Islamic boarding school cultural values. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a library research approach. Library research is a research method carried out by studying various books, literature, notes, and reports related to the topic being studied, in this case regarding conflict management in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a central role in reducing tensions and building harmonious relationships between students through dialogue and mediation. The leadership of the kyai has also been shown to strengthen the conflict resolution process by providing direction and role models. This conflict resolution not only reduces tensions, but also builds solidarity, strengthens relationships between students, and creates a more inclusive social environment. Teachers as facilitators and leaders have an important role in maintaining social harmony and character development of students in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan tingkat disiplin dan nilai kezuhudan santri di Pesantren Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak antara masa kini dan masa lampau, dengan fokus pada tantangan internal yang memengaruhi transformasi karakter santri. Fenomena globalisasi dan digitalisasi telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap gaya hidup santri, termasuk pola ibadah, kedisiplinan, serta orientasi spiritual mereka. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan santri masa lampau lebih terjaga karena pola pengasuhan yang ketat dan minim gangguan teknologi, sedangkan santri masa kini menghadapi distraksi gadget, media sosial, dan gaya hidup konsumtif yang menurunkan nilai kezuhudan. Meskipun demikian, inovasi kurikulum dan penguatan program pembinaan karakter menjadi kunci untuk mempertahankan nilai pesantren di era kontemporer. Penelitian ini menyarankan penguatan peran kiai dan ustaz dalam mengintegrasikan pendekatan spiritual, teknologi, dan manajemen pesantren agar relevan dengan zaman tanpa kehilangan ruh tasawuf.
