Abstract

The tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium has claimed quite a number of victims, including 133 victims who died. This is certainly a special concern in the legal field, where victims need to be given legal protection. Legal protection is provided in the UUPK and UUKOR, and is based on criminal and civil law. This legal protection is further proven by the results of the investigation conducted by TGIPF in investigating the tragedy. This research is based on empirical events that were studied normatively with a library approach by processing secondary data deductively, in order to obtain in-depth information on how to protect consumers who are victims of the law. Abstract

The practice of abstaining is still a massive phenomenon that occurs during the election season in Indonesia. In fact, data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that the number of people who abstained in 2019 was 34.75 million or around 18.02% of the total registered voters. Meanwhile, in 2014, the number of abstainers was 58.61 million people or 30.22%. This means that citizen participation in the democratic system in Indonesia is still not good. Intentional abstention from voting is now classified as a criminal act (delict) which is expressly contained in the General Election Law Number 7 of 2017 (UU ELECTION). In its implementation, Indonesia adheres to the principle of legal fiction, where the public is assumed to know the applicable law (presumptio iures de iure). Therefore, with the provisions of regulations containing strict criminal sanctions leading up to the 2024 elections, it is hoped that citizens will become more aware and obedient to applicable laws. Criminal liability would be a solution to prevent the practice of abstaining from voting ahead of the next election.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of Motion graphics in digital marketing strategies, especially on Instagram, with a case study of the Eraspacetival event. The use of Motion graphics proved effective in attracting audience attention and increasing brand visibility, which had a positive impact on increasing sales and brand loyalty. Through descriptive qualitative methods and Kress and van Leeuwen's multimodality approach, as well as Anstey and Bull's five semiotic elements (linguistic, visual, audio, gestural and spatial), this study identifies how these elements work synergistically in Eraspacetival's Motion content. The results show that persuasive linguistic elements reinforce the message, interactive visuals draw audience engagement, and upbeat sound effects and music enhance interaction. The gestural and spatial elements guide the audience in understanding the flow of information, so the Motion content succeeds in creating significant interaction, evidenced by the increase in likes and comments from the audience.Keywords: Motion Graphic, Marketing Communication, Multimodal, Eraspacetival

Abstract

The protection of workers who experience work accidents in Indonesia has been regulated in various regulations, such as Government Regulation Number 49 Year 2023 (PP49/23). However, in practice, there is still a legal vacuum that results in some workers, especially freelancers, not getting proper coverage. This study analyzes the case of a worker who suffered permanent disability due to a work accident, but did not receive appropriate compensation from the company. Using a juridical-normative approach and case analysis, this study finds that loopholes in the legal system and weak supervision mean that workers' rights are not fully met. Therefore, there is a need to revise policies and improve supervision mechanisms so that every worker, regardless of employment status, receives optimal legal protection
