Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of the tourism business in the Lake Toba area, Parapat City, Girsang Sipanganbolon District in terms of the development perspective of Lake Toba as "International class Tourism". The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the development of Lake Toba as a tourism business in Parapat City has experienced an increase such as in the MSME, Hospitality and Restaurant sectors. In developing the tourism potential of Lake Toba, Parapat City has strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges. Its biggest strength is natural tourism, artificial tourism, and also cultural tourism. Weaknesses are human resources, facilities and infrastructure that still need to be improved, and limited capital. For this reason, it is necessary to have good cooperation between the central government, local government and the local community so that the development of the tourism business in Parapat City can be improved even better

Abstract

Number recognition is a critical skill in early education, laying the foundation for digital literacy and mathematical understanding. However, traditional methods of teaching number recognition often lack the interactivity and engagement necessary for effective learning, particularly for young learners. This study proposes the development of a deep learning-based Android application aimed at enhancing the number recognition process by providing an interactive and visual learning experience. The application utilizes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), a type of deep learning model, to recognize handwritten numbers, offering users an innovative and engaging way to learn and practice number recognition.In the proposed application, users can draw numbers on their devices, and the system will immediately provide feedback regarding the accuracy of the drawn numbers. The CNN model will be trained on a comprehensive dataset of handwritten digits to ensure high accuracy in recognition. This real-time feedback loop is designed to help users learn the correct form of numbers while also introducing the foundational concepts of deep learning. The main objective of this application is to provide an accessible, interactive platform for learning number recognition, especially for novice learners who may be unfamiliar with basic concepts in machine learning and digital literacy. By integrating deep learning technology, the application not only supports the learning of number recognition but also serves as an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) concepts in a practical, easy-to-understand format. Furthermore, the application is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that it is suitable for a wide range of learners, including children and beginners. The application aims to combine the fundamental principles of deep learning with a practical, hands-on learning experience, fostering a deeper understanding of both number concepts and the potential of AI in everyday life.

Abstract

The activity aimed to enhance teachers' ability at SMA Al-Mubaarok in utilizing AI technology, specifically Chat GPT, as a tool to assist in writing Classroom Action Research (CAR) reports. Through three sessions held in June 2025, teachers received theoretical understanding of CAR, hands-on practice in operating Chat GPT for report writing, as well as continuous evaluation and mentoring. The activity, attended by 15 teachers, was conducted at SMA Al-Mubaarok in Bekasi and employed participatory, demonstrative, needs-based, and sustainable approaches. Evaluation results showed that the average ability of participants reached 81%, with most teachers capable of effectively operating Chat GPT, generating quality draft reports, and quickly obtaining relevant ideas and references. This success indicates that a structured and ongoing training program can accelerate teachers’ adaptation to technological innovations while fostering creativity and professionalism. The use of Chat GPT proved to reduce administrative burden and expedite the report preparation process, supporting improvements in learning quality and teacher professional development. The implications of this activity highlight the importance of continuous socialization and training of technology in the educational environment, as well as fostering a culture of research and innovation among teachers.

Abstract

The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to introduce Cablink network technology to students of Vocational High School (SMK) X as a form of strengthening competency in the field of Computer and Network Engineering. This activity includes the delivery of materials, installation, and hands-on practice in installing Cablink networks. The implementation method uses a participatory approach that allows students to be more active in understanding the material presented. With this approach, it is hoped that students can gain a deeper and more applicable understanding of developing network technology. During the activity, students are not only given theoretical explanations about Cablink networks, but also given the opportunity to be directly involved in the installation process, which provides very useful practical experience. The results of this activity show an increase in students' understanding of basic network concepts and technical skills in installing Cablink networks. This improvement is not only limited to the theoretical aspect, but also includes practical skills that can be directly applied in the world of work. This program is expected to be a bridge between the needs of the modern network industry and the readiness of SMK graduates to compete in the world of work. With the skills acquired through this activity, students are expected to be better prepared to face the challenges of rapidly developing technology in the fields of computers and networks. Furthermore, this activity also serves to introduce students to technologies relevant to industry needs, so they are better prepared to enter the professional world upon graduation. This program is expected to contribute to improving the quality of education at SMK X and provide significant benefits for developing students' skills in Computer and Network Engineering.

Abstract

  Kewirausahaan digital menjadi fokus utama di Indonesia, terutama di kalangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), yang sering menghadapi tantangan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan pemasaran digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pemuda melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan digital di Jl. Raya Mauk Raya, Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang, dengan melibatkan 21 peserta dari Karang Taruna. Metode yang digunakan mencakup analisis masalah, persiapan materi, dan pelaksanaan pelatihan dalam tiga sesi, masing-masing selama 1,5 jam, yang meliputi dasar-dasar e-commerce, pemasaran digital, manajemen operasional, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan rata-rata skor 70 untuk pengetahuan teori dan 76 untuk praktik, dengan sebagian besar peserta mampu memahami materi. Meskipun terdapat lima peserta yang memerlukan pendampingan tambahan, antusiasme tinggi terlihat selama pelatihan. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pendampingan berkelanjutan setelah pelatihan untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan keterampilan yang telah dipelajari serta memperkuat dukungan dari komunitas dan pemerintah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan digital di kalangan pemuda. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan ekonomi lokal dan menciptakan generasi wirausaha yang adaptif.
