Abstract

Pondok pesantren memiliki berbagai metode dalam mendidik para santri dari berbagai tingkatan. Di antaranya metode sorogan, bandongan, dan ceramah. Metode tradisional tersebut dinilai kurang dapat memberikan penguasaan dan Implementasinya secara maksimal. Akibatnya lembaga pendidikan Islam mulai mencari solusinya, salah satunya dengan metode mudzakarah. Mudzakarah adalah penyampaian materi pembelajaran dengan cara diskusi dua arah yakni antarmahasantri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan metode mudzakarah dalam pembelajaran hadits di Pondok Pesantren Darus Sunnah Ciputat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dari penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga orang, yaitu mahasantri UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta semester tiga dan lima, serta mahasantri Institut Ilmu Al-Quran semester lima. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduction data, data display, dan conclusing drawing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelebihan dari metode mudzakarah adalah mahasantri terbiasa berpikir kritis dan metode ini sangat bermanfaat.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the religious environment of TPA An-Nur influences the formation of religious identity in children aged 7 to 12. Religious identity plays a crucial role in a child's personality development, encompassing the internalization of spiritual values and their expression in daily behavior. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research involved six purposively selected children as main participants, along with TPA teachers as supporting informants. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was conducted based on Henri Tajfel’s social identity theory. The findings reveal that the religious environment of TPA significantly contributes to shaping children's religious identity through processes of social categorization, group identification, and the internalization of Islamic values. Elements such as peer and teacher interactions, worship routines, religious symbols, and hidden curriculum work together to build an authentic and sustainable religious identity. Children’s religious identity is reflected in their conceptual understanding of Islamic teachings, spiritual engagement, and daily practice of religious values. This study offers a theoretical contribution to the field of the psychology of religion and serves as a practical reference for enhancing religious education in non-formal settings

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in fostering children's enthusiasm for reciting the Qur'an at Saung Qur'an Husnayain. This research employed a qualitative approach involving 10 informants consisting of teachers, students, and parents. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of data analysis, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that teachers play multiple roles as educators, mentors, motivators, and parental figures in supporting children's Qur'anic learning. The study identified three main strategies used by teachers to enhance children's enthusiasm: (1) building emotional closeness with students, (2) applying interpersonal communication during the learning process, and (3) integrating enjoyable learning activities such as coloring and educational games. These strategies contributed to increased student participation, improved learning motivation, and greater consistency in attending Qur'an recitation sessions. In addition, a supportive learning environment, emotional encouragement, and attention to children's psychological needs were found to be important factors influencing the effectiveness of teacher interventions. Therefore, teachers play a crucial role in developing children's interest and sustained enthusiasm for learning and reciting the Qur'an from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of educational psychology theories, particularly learning motivation, humanistic, behavioral, and cognitive theories, in character development and the enhancement of students’ learning motivation at Al Hidayah Basmol Islamic Boarding School. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach to gain an in-depth understanding of educational practices within the pesantren environment. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving students, teachers (ustadz), and boarding school administrators. The collected data were analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students demonstrated a high level of learning motivation, particularly in religious subjects such as Qur’an memorization (tahfiz), Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir), and moral education (akhlaq). This motivation was influenced by internal factors, including sincere intentions to worship and seek the pleasure of Allah SWT, as well as external factors such as support from teachers, parents, and a conducive boarding school environment. The teachers applied a humanistic approach through empathetic interactions and individualized guidance, while behavioral principles were implemented through educational reward and punishment systems. Furthermore, cognitive learning theory was reflected in the use of concrete instructional methods and learning styles adapted to students’ characteristics, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic preferences. Character values such as honesty, responsibility, cooperation, and discipline were emphasized throughout the educational process. Relationships among students, teachers, and administrators were developed in a warm, family-oriented atmosphere while maintaining educational authority. The study concludes that the integration of psychological approaches creates a harmonious educational climate, strengthens students’ moral character, and sustainably enhances their learning motivation.

Abstract

Permasalahan kesehatan mental mahasiswa menjadi isu yang semakin penting dalam lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Praktik ibadah dipandang memiliki peran sebagai bentuk coping spiritual yang membantu mahasiswa menghadapi tekanan psikologis dan menjaga kesejahteraan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran praktik ibadah sebagai mekanisme coping spiritual dalam menjaga kesehatan mental mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis 25 artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada tahun 2020–2025. Proses seleksi literatur dilakukan menggunakan pedoman PRISMA. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa praktik ibadah seperti salat, doa, dzikir, dan membaca Al-Qur’an berkontribusi terhadap penurunan stres, regulasi emosi, peningkatan resiliensi, dan kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa. Efektivitas coping spiritual dipengaruhi oleh tingkat religiositas, pengalaman spiritual, dan dukungan sosial keagamaan. Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa praktik ibadah tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai aktivitas ritual, tetapi juga sebagai sumber daya psikologis dalam membantu mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan akademik dan sosial..

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning characteristics of children at TPQ Al-Muntaha Ali and examine their implications for teachers’ instructional methods. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and children aged 5–10 years. The findings indicate that children demonstrate varying levels of attention, motivation, learning pace, and participation during Qur’anic learning activities. To address these differences, teachers implement the Ummi method, provide rewards, and utilize interactive learning activities such as Islamic songs and group memorization. These strategies help maintain students’ engagement, improve learning motivation, and encourage social interaction among learners. The study concludes that understanding children’s learning characteristics is essential for designing effective and enjoyable learning environments in TPQ settings. The findings also imply that teachers need to adopt flexible and child-centered instructional approaches to optimize learning outcomes in nonformal Islamic education.
