This article aims to determine tourist perceptions about the components of tourism destinations on Angso Duo Island, Pariaman City. This article uses a SWOT analysis while simultaneously using the 4 A approach (attractions), accessibility (accessibility), amenities (amenities or facilities), and ancillary services (tourism support services). has been comprehensive on Angso Duo Island, and the findings in particular are the development of Angso Duo Island using SWOT analysis as well as 4A. The drawbacks on this island are that it has not been managed with good management, and some of the existing facilities are inadequate. The tourism development strategy is carried out using the SWOT matrix and explain in detail the results of the 4A interview of each informant.

Di Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, angka stunting tertinggi berada di Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Pada tahun 2020, tercatat sebesar 12,4 persen atau sebanyak 1.750 kasus stunting. Perlu adanya peran aktif berbagai pihak dalam penanganan masalah stunting. Salah satunya adalah peran aktif akademisi melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode komunikasi, informasi, dan edukasi (KIE) kepada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Kelapa. KIE yang dilakukan ini dalam bentuk talkshow dan pelatihan. Talkshow pertama berkaitan dengan strategi pencegahan stunting dan pernikahan usia dini. Talkshow kedua berkaitan dengan spirit muda dalam berentrepreneur. Dilakukan pula pelatihan rajutan dengan tujuan untuk membangun kreativitas dan inovasi siswa berbasis kearifan lokal. Talkshow ini menjadi penting dalam upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang stunting dan dampak pernikahan anak usia din. Tidak kalah penting, kegiatan ini memberikan peningkatan kreativitas dan inovasi siswa untuk menghadirkan produk bernilai ekonomis berbasis kearifan lokal.

Air Abik hamlet, situated in Gunung Muda village, Belinyu Sub-District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage embodied by the Lom tribe, holding immense potential for tourism development as a vibrant tourist village. However, the management of Gebong Memarong, a traditional accommodation facility in the area, faces challenges hindering its optimal operation. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation analysis to understand the management practices surrounding Gebong Memarong comprehensively. The findings reveal deficiencies in amenities and ancillary services, indicating a critical need for stakeholders’ attention to bolstering support facilities within the tourism village. Furthermore, this research advocates for enhanced managerial competencies to address operational gaps and ensure the sustainable management of homestay facilities. It offers valuable insights into improving accommodation management within culturally significant tourism destinations, with implications for sustainable tourism development strategies in similar contexts.

The purpose of this study was to explore Environmental Accounting as a management strategy for the Bangka Botanical Garden (BBG) tourist park. BBG is one of the artificial-based natural tourism (processed from former mining areas), which has attracted many tourists to visit. However, with the increasing image of BBG in Bangka Belitung, of course, it will also increase the number of tourists visiting BBG, both tourists from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province itself, as well as from outside. An increase in the number of tourists will also have an impact, both positive and negative impacts. So it needs proper management so that BBG can become a sustainable natural tourism area. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection through the distribution of questionnaires in the form of questionnaires, observations, and collection of related documents which are then analyzed. The results of this study are to find out that environmental accounting is the right strategy in managing the BBG tourism environment.

Mangrove forest tourism located in Tukak Village has great potential to be developed and positively impacts the socio-economy of the surrounding community. In addition, mangrove forest tourism also has challenges which, if not immediately overcome, can be an obstacle for this potential to be realized optimally. This research is about analyzing the potential and challenges that exist in mangrove forest tourism in Tukak Village, South Bangka Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, using primary data, and data collection techniques in the form of field observations, interviews with the South Bangka Tourism Office and Tukak Village Pokdarwis, and literature studies. The results showed that currently three potentials can be developed in mangrove forest tourism, including: water tourism, educational tourism, and conservation activities. Then, three challenges become obstacles and solutions provided, namely: lack of income, lack of awareness of human resources, and limited promotion. This research concludes that the development of mangrove forest tourism in Tukak Sadai Village requires an integrated approach involving increased investment, community empowerment, and improved promotional strategies

This study examines the marine tourism potential of Kelapan Island, located in South Bangka Regency, and the promotional strategies needed to increase tourist arrivals. Based on data from Dinas Pariwisata, Kepemudaan, dan Olahraga, South Bangka (2019-2023), it can be seen that domestic tourist arrivals have continued to increase post-COVID-19 pandemic, while foreign tourist arrivals have dropped dramatically. The main obstacles faced are lack of promotion, limited infrastructure, and difficult accessibility. This research aims to formulate an effective promotional strategy to increase public awareness of Kelapan Island's tourism potential. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation and interviews with the Tourism Office, community leaders, and tourists. SWOT analysis was conducted to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in tourism development. The results showed that Kelapan Island has great tourism potential, especially in marine and culinary tourism. However, inadequate infrastructure and lack of promotion hinder tourism development. Promotion strategies through digital marketing, creative infrastructure development such as eco-glamping, and collaboration with travel agents are proposed as solutions. This study concludes that collaboration between the government, local communities and businesses is essential in the development of sustainable tourism on Kelapan Island. Future research can focus on the implementation of regenerative promotional strategies and their impact on increasing the number of visits, as well as the development of sustainable community-based ecotourism.

This study aims to examine the capacity-building efforts of the Karang Merah Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in managing and developing the Temberan Beach tourist destination in Air Anyir Village, Bangka Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research explores the existing conditions of Pokdarwis and Temberan Beach, the challenges faced, and the capacity-building strategies and programs that have been and need to be implemented. The results show that Pokdarwis Karang Merah has played a significant role in the development of Temberan Beach, but still faces major challenges related to limited human resource capacity, funding, and coordination with stakeholders. Various capacity-building programs have been conducted, including tourism training, tourism product development workshops, comparative studies, management assistance, English language training, and environmental awareness education. These programs have begun to show positive results, evident from the improvement in service quality and the emergence of innovations in tourism attraction development. This study concludes that Pokdarwis capacity building is an ongoing process that requires support and cooperation from various parties. Recommendations are provided for Pokdarwis, local government, academics, the private sector, and local communities to support sustainable capacity-building efforts for Pokdarwis.

Bintan is one of the districts in the Riau Islands, Indonesia, with its capital being Bandar Sri Bentan. Meanwhile, Karimun has its capital, Tanjung Balai Karimun, and has been known for several centuries throughout the archipelago and abroad. Based on this position, Bintan and Karimun are border tourist areas for tourists from Singapore, Malaysia and other foreign countries. Therefore, Bintan and Karimun need to continue to improve to become border tourist areas apart from other cities in the Riau Islands province. This research aims to examine the behavior of border tourists, whether distance, tourist attractions and culture motivate them to visit the area. The research was carried out with the unit of analysis, namely in the border tourist area originating from Singapore and Malaysia who visited Bintan and Karimun in the main entrance area (entry point) to be studied and then draw conclusions. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method, with data collection techniques carried out using questionnaires. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula and obtained 250 respondents. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively using SEM[1]AMOS to strengthen the research results using continium lines
