Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Buku Ajar atau Bahan Ajar untuk mata kuliah Statistika Pendidikan berbasis inkuiri yang valid dan praktis. Ini dilakukan untuk membantu agar proses pembelajaran di masa new normal menjadi lebih baik dan efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis untuk validasi dan praktikalitas Buku Ajar berbasis inkuiri. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Lembar Validasi, dan Angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Buku Ajar berbasis Inkuiri valid dari segi didaktik, isi, bahasa, dan keterbacaan. Selain itu hasil uji praktikalitas buku ajar berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan juga praktis dari segi sikap, pengetahuan, dan kemandirian.

Abstract

In the new normal, learning is carried out online. For this reason, educators must be able to package the learning activity interactively so that students have the motivation to learn. The inquiry method facilitates students to be active in learning. Students are guided through the questions arranged in the Worksheet. Therefore, this study aims to develop an Inquiry-Based Student Worksheet in the Introduction to Mathematical Statistics in the New Normal Era. The development model used is 4D with the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, the stages of this article are defined and designed. The instrument used in the define stage is a questionnaire. The results at the define stage are that teaching materials are needed to help students find concepts, and the Student Worksheets are one of the teaching materials that have a good impact on learning.

Abstract

Every ethnic group has  various shapes, sizes, and cultural patterns that are interesting to study. Incorporating cultural elements in learning mathematics as the representation of ethnomatematics is helpful to introduce cultural values to the younger generation implicitly. The combination of technology and ethnomatematics for creating learning media should be tried because it contain a positive values for attracting students' learning interest. This study purposes to develop ethnomatematics-based flipbook in circle material at VIII grade of junior high school. The results show that ethnomatemics-based flipbook is appropriate to apply. The validation result of material experts is 80%, validation of media experts is 77%, and and from the student questionnaire responses is 74%.

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in the Geometry of Plane and Space course integrated with the maritime context of the Riau Islands. This research is a solution to problems arising from a need for teaching materials to the characteristics of students in the Mathematics Education Department of UMRAH. The 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate) is used as the research development model. The research has reached the final activity of the Development stage, namely the practicality test of textbooks produced. The instrument used in the practicality test is a practicality questionnaire with a Likert scale. The evaluation results show that the textbooks produced through this development research have met the applicable criteria for use as teaching materials, with an achievement level of 72,85%. Thus, the textbook produced with the title Plane and Space Geometry Textbook has met the practical to use as teaching material in the Geometry of Plane and Space course. Integrating the maritime context of the Riau Islands helps students connect the content of teaching materials with their daily life. It helps them more easily understand the new knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecepatan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learningdi kelas X SMK Pembangunan Tanjungpinang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di SMK Pembangunan Tanjungpinang yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, yakni siklus pertama terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan dan siklus kedua terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk mengukur kecepatan keterampilan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel, lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pencapaian alokasi waktu dan catatan lapangan. Data dari hasil tes, observasi dan catatan lapangan dari semua data yang diperoleh tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel siswa kelas X SMK Pembangunan Tanjungpinang mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Dengan demikian, siswa mempunyai respon yang positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika melalui model Problem Based Learning dalam upaya meningkatkan kecepatan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. This research is a Classroom Action Research that aims to improve the speed of students in solving the problem story system of linear equations of three variables through the model of Problem-Based Learning in class X SMK Pembangunan Tanjungpinang. Subjects in this study were the students of class X in Vocational Development Tanjungpinang totaling 27 students. This research is conducted in 2 cycles, the first cycle consists of 3 meetings and the second cycle consists of 3 meetings. The instrument used in this study is a test to measure the speed of the student's skills in solving the story problem of linear equations system of three variables, observation sheet of learning implementation, achievement of time allocation, and field notes. Data from the test results, observations, and field notes of all the data obtained are analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. Research results show that the speed of students in solving the problem story system of linear equations of three variables of students’ class X SMK Development Tanjungpinang increased from cycle I to cycle II after implementing learning through the model of learning Problem-Based Learning. Thus, students have a positive response to the learning of mathematics through the model of Problem-Based Learning to increase the student's speed in solving the problem story system of linear equations of three variables.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Secara ilmiah, kreatifitas guru dalam usaha peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di dalam kelas dapat dikaji melalui pelaksanaan suatu penelitian yang biasa disebut dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Namun dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat kendala bagi guru dalam membuat PTK, salah satunya yaitu guru-guru belum paham bagaimana menyusun dan menentukan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yang dilakukannya. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pembimbingan kepada guru SMP Negeri 3 Bintan dalam mengembangkan instrumen PTK. Metode: Metode yang digunakan yaitu pembimbingan yang berkelanjutan dengan pola In-On-In dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 guru SMP Negeri 3 Bintan dan 8 guru SMP Tanjungpinang. Hasil: Terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta dalam mengembangkan instrumen PTK, di mana peserta dapat mengembangkan instrumen PTK berupa lembar observasi dan angket. Kesimpulan: Metode pelaksanaan pembimbingan dengan pola In-On-In memberikan hasil yang menggembirakan dengan hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan sebanyak 82,4% menyatakan setuju dan 17,6% sangat setuju bahwa pemahaman mereka terhadap pengembangan instrumen PTK telah terjadi peningkatan sesudah mengikuti kegiatan pembimbingan.
