Abstract

The people of Rowoboni Village have not optimized the potential of water hyacinths in Lake Rawapening. People only work as laborers picking water hyacinths and selling raw to collectors. It does not improve the community’s economy because the selling price of water hyacinths is still lower than that of water hyacinths processed into handicraft products. This study aims to describe the process of water hyacinth Iboni craft community empowerment to improve community welfare and economy. This qualitative approach used in-depth interview techniques with 14 participants consisting of one manager, seven workers, four devices village, one farmer, and one hyacinth collector who are considered to have precise information related to the focus of the research. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity applied source triangulation techniques, and the data were analyzed through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study show that the empowerment process of Iboni craft consists of 3 stages, namely 1) awareness and behavior formation, 2) knowledge and skills transformation, and 3) intellectual and skills enrichment or improvement. The economic impact of this empowerment program is increasing people’s income and welfare. The conclusion is that the empowerment process of Iboni Craft consists of 3 stages:  1) awareness and behavior formation through Dialogical communication or word of mouth to the public, 2) knowledge and skills transformation through group training, and independent training with the manager of Iboni Craft, 3) intellectual and skills enrichment or improvement where the workforce begins to produce independently following consumer demand. The economic impact of this empowerment program is an increase in family income, which can provide the family with a second source of income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the character profile of Pancasila students through Dolanan Bocah Pinter (DOLPIN) Interactive media for Islamic Education. The lack of interactive media innovation in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students is the background of this research. The method used in this research is research and development (R and D) with the ADDIE approach. Data collection techniques; observation, interviews, test questions and documentation. The data validity test uses validity and reliability with validity tests including material experts, media experts and linguists. The results of this study indicate that the development of DOLPIN interactive media based on local wisdom is effective in increasing the profile of Pancasila students seen from the results of the classical test of material achievement 87% and the results of the classical test of the character of the Pancasila student profile 88%. The increase in material achievement and character profile of Pancasila students through one group pre-test and post-test output t test results, obtained sig value = 0.000, which means smaller than α 0.05.  Teacher response to DOLPIN interactive media received a percentage of 97.6% (very good), and student response was 90.4% (very good). The application of DOLPIN interactive media based on local wisdom can improve the Pancasila learner profile of students in grade IV SD.

Abstract

Di era modern dan penuh tantangan global seperti ketidaksetaraan sosial, krisis lingkungan dan perubahan cepat karena teknologi menjadikan karakter kepedulian sosial sangat penting bagi pemuda. Karakter kepedulian sosial membantu para pemuda untuk memahami dan merespons isu-isu mendesak dengan rasa empati dan aksi nyata. Penelitian ini membahas tentang peran keanggotaan pengurus dalam pengembangan karakter kepedulian sosial di komunitas Senyum Anak Nusantara Chapter Grobogan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan 4 langkah yaitu: a) pengumpulan data, b) reduksi, c) penyajian data, dan d) Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada lima peran keanggotaan pengurus dalam pengembangan karakter kepedulian sosial di komunitas Senyum Anak Nusantara Chapter Grobogan yaitu pembiasaan(habituasi), sosialisasi dan edukasi, koordinasi dan motivasi, pengembangan program, dan pengkondisian lingkungan. Adapun bentuk-bentuk karakter kepedulian sosial yang dimiliki oleh anggota diantaranya peka terhadap keadaan orang lain, partisipasi dalam perubahan positif, menolong tanpa pamrih, sikap toleransi, dan rasa empati. Dengan memiliki karakter peduli sosial, pemuda dapat berkontribusi dan menciptakan dunia yang berkeadilan, inklusif, dan sejahtera di tengah kompleksitas zaman sekarang.
