Abstract

English speaking training is a program designed to enhance the English speaking proficiency of the general public. The training focuses on themes that are relevant to daily activities, such as Daily Activity I, Daily Activity II, Talking About Your Hobbies, and Misconception English Language Education Paradigm in Indonesia. This program is deemed necessary to aid individuals in improving their English speaking abilities. The program is executed in several stages, commencing with the preparation stage, which encompasses scheduling, curating thematic material, participant recruitment, speaker outreach, and Microsoft Teams preparation. Subsequently, the implementation phase of the program ensues, featuring the delivery of thematic content and a discussion between participants and speakers, during which the former are encouraged to address any areas of the material that remain unclear

Abstract

Bhumi Lentera is a non-profit organization that focuses on education. Its goal is to provide learning assistance and help sharpen talents, that have been hindered by the Covid-19 pandemic. The activities are conducted for free on Sundays, with a focus on cognitive development in weeks 1 and 3, and talent development in weeks 2 and 4. Each activity consists of several stages, including planning, implementation, and evaluation, to ensure optimal execution and achievement of goals. The organization hopes that these activities can enhance the cognitive abilities and skills of the students involved, thereby reducing the knowledge gap caused by the Covid-19 pandemic that has limited traditional learning environments
