Abstract

English speaking training is a program designed to enhance the English speaking proficiency of the general public. The training focuses on themes that are relevant to daily activities, such as Daily Activity I, Daily Activity II, Talking About Your Hobbies, and Misconception English Language Education Paradigm in Indonesia. This program is deemed necessary to aid individuals in improving their English speaking abilities. The program is executed in several stages, commencing with the preparation stage, which encompasses scheduling, curating thematic material, participant recruitment, speaker outreach, and Microsoft Teams preparation. Subsequently, the implementation phase of the program ensues, featuring the delivery of thematic content and a discussion between participants and speakers, during which the former are encouraged to address any areas of the material that remain unclear

Abstract

Bhumi Lentera is a non-profit organization that focuses on education. Its goal is to provide learning assistance and help sharpen talents, that have been hindered by the Covid-19 pandemic. The activities are conducted for free on Sundays, with a focus on cognitive development in weeks 1 and 3, and talent development in weeks 2 and 4. Each activity consists of several stages, including planning, implementation, and evaluation, to ensure optimal execution and achievement of goals. The organization hopes that these activities can enhance the cognitive abilities and skills of the students involved, thereby reducing the knowledge gap caused by the Covid-19 pandemic that has limited traditional learning environments

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran Mahir Akuntansi pada Kompetensi Dasar Laporan Keuangan Perusahaan Jasa untuk siswa kelas X AKL di SMK Negeri Darul Ulum Muncar Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Subjek uji coba dilakukan pada 34 siswa kelas X AKL 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 35 siswa kelas X AKL 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen soal pada penelitian ini yaitu s pilihan ganda sejumlah 20 soal. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Selanjutnya hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan independent sample t test. Sebelum uji independent sample t test, dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Uji normalitas untuk melihat sebaran nilai hasil belajar X AKL 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X AKL 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan uji homogenitas melihat ada atau tidaknya perbedaan varians antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu uji tingkat efektivitas. Hasil uji tingkat efektivitas dilihat dari taraf signifikansi yaitu 0,000 < 0,050 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil dari uji efektivitas menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran Mahir Akuntansi lebih efektif untuk digunakan dalam KD laporan keuangan perusahaan jasa.
