Abstract

This study aims to describe the contribution of the red brick industry to the income of workers in Ngreco Village using a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research. The results of this study indicate that income among workers is different. This is caused by several factors such as the capital used, the amount of red bricks produced and the erratic weather. This research is expected to be able to open ideas for more in-depth research to conduct studies with different perspectives, namely about the influence of the existence of the brick industry on the availability of natural resources. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan kontribusi industri batu bata merah terhadap pendapatan pekerja di Desa Ngreco menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan antar pekerja berbeda-beda. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti modal yang digunakan, jumlah batu bata merah yang dihasilkan dan cuaca yang tidak menentu. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu membuka ide bagi penelitian yang lebih mendalam untuk melakukan kajian dengan perspektif yang berbeda yaitu tentang pengaruh adanya industri batu bata pada ketersediaan sumber daya alam.
