Abstract

Shallot (Allium ascalonicum) is one of the potential horticulture plant to be developed. In most parts of the world shallot has become a popular spice that makes food tasty in addition to its much needed nutrients. Goat manure and NPK ferilizers are used to get more plant production The study was conducted to investgate the respon sof growth and production of shallot on the application of goat manure and anorganic fertilizerNPK. The experiment was a Randomized Block Design replicated three times with twelve tretments. The goat manure rates (K) consisted of four levels, i.e K0 (nogoatmanureapplication), K1 (1 kg plot-1), K2 (2 kg. plot-1), K3 (3kg.plot-1), while the NPK fertilizer consisted of three levels, i.e N1 (10g.plot-1), N2 (15g.plot-1), N3 (20g.plot-1), The result indicated the application of goat manure up to K3(3 kg.plot-1)affected plant height,nuber of leaves, ,bulb fresh weight bulb dryweight, and bulb diameter significantly. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat produksi kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea) akibat pemberian pupuk kandang ayam pada beberapa varietas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Tanjung Anom, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian tempat ± 30 meter diatas permukaan laut (mdpl). Penelitian ini di laksanakan pada bulan Januari 2019 sampai dengan April 2019. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah Pupuk Kandang Ayam (A) dengan 3 taraf, yaitu : K1 = 1,5 kg/plot, K2 = 3 kg/plot, K3 = 4,5 kg/plot. Faktor kedua adalah Varietas Kacang Tanah (V) dengan 3 taraf yaitu: V1 = Varietas Gajah, V2 = Varietas Garuda, V3 = Varietas Kelinci. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah, umur berbunga, jumlah ginofor per sampel, jumlah bintil akar, jumlah polong berisi per sampel, jumlah polong hampa per sampel dan bobot 100 biji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah ginofor per sampel, jumlah bintil akar, jumlah polong berisi per sampel dan bobot 100 biji tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap umur berbunga dan jumlah polong hampa per sampel. Perlakuan varietas kacang tanah berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, jumlah ginofor per sampel, jumlah polong berisi per sampel dan bobot 100 biji tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah bintil akar dan jumlah polong hampa per sampel. Interaksi pupuk kandang ayam dengan beberapa varietas berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, jumlah ginofor per sampel, jumlah bintil akar, jumlah polong berisi per sampel, jumlah polong hampa per sampel dan bobot 100 biji.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the land of UPT Tanjung Selamat Main Seed Center, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra Province, with an elevation of ±25 meters above sea level. This research was conducted from February to May 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the exact spacing and timing of Eco Enzyme watering on the growth and production of shallots (Allium cepa L.). This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD). Factor 1 is the spacing consisting of: J1=15cm x 15cm, J2=20cm x 15cm, J3=25cm x 15cm. Factor 2 namely: Eco Enzyme Watering Time consisting of: W1=1x1 day, W2=1x2 days, W3=1x3 days. The results of the study showed that the spacing treatment had a significant effect on shoot age, root length, tuber/sample diameter, and tuber/sample dry weight. From the results of the study it was also found that J2 and J3 had the fastest germination age (2.37 days) when compared to treatment J1 (2.67 days), the highest root length was in treatment J3 (14.92 cm) and the lowest was in treatment J1 (13.22 cm), diameter The largest tuber/sample was in treatment J3 (20.38 mm) and the lowest was in treatment J1 (18.11 mm) and the highest tuber/sample dry weight was in treatment J3 (66.68 g) and the smallest was in treatment J1 (52.06 g).
