Abstract

Jatigede Reservoir located in Sumedang, West Java. As the second largest reservoir in Indonesia, the main purpose of the reservoir construction is to irrigate the 90.000 Ha of irrigation area, the source of 3,5 m3/s of raw and drinking water, as well as the source of water for hydropower plan Jatigede requiring water supply as much as 61,84 m3/s. One of the efforts that can be taken to optimize reservoir of water resources, particularly for irrigation water needs, is to do a simulation model of the Jatigede Reservoir operation. This study is discusses the analysis of the performance of the operating pattern Jatigede were analyzed based on the stochastic model of Cimanuk river flow and rain data of Cimanuk Water District. Data needs to be tested first to qualify for a normal statistical distribution using AProb software version 4.1. Stochastic models were analyzed with software SAMS 2007 from Colorado State University. Surgery simulation analysis to determine the performance of the reservoir using software Ribasim. To test the performance of reservoir used the criteria of reliability, resilience, and vulnerability. From the analysis of performance can be concluded that the reliability of the reservoir in an effort to meet the needs of raw water, irrigation, and hydropower at existing condition is of 98.3%, the resilience of the reservoir by 50%, and the vulnerability of dams throughout the simulation period amounted to 6824.70 m3/s , While in the next 50 years the condition of the dam by 92.7% reliability, resilience reservoir by 34%, and the vulnerability of dams throughout the simulation period amounted 20.540,51m3/s. It can be concluded that the performance of  Jatigede reservoir decreased after the analysis of reservoir operation plan for the next 50 years.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan pada operasional sebuah waduk adalah sedimentasi. Kapasitas tampungan waduk dipengaruhi oleh volume sedimen yang masuk ke waduk. Akibat sedimentasi dapat berpengaruh terhadap umur waduk. Untuk menanggulangi permasalahan sedimentasi pada waduk perlu diketahui perkiraan volume sedimen yang masuk ke waduk. Analisis jumlah sedimen yang masuk ke Waduk Jatibarang dilakukan dengan menjumlahkan total sedimen layang dan sedimen dasar. Simulasi dilakukan selama umur rencana waduk yaitu 50 tahun. Sedimen layang dihitung dengan menurunkan persamaan dari data pengukuran debit air dan konsentrasi sedimen. Sedimen dasar dianalisis melalui pendekatan rumus empirik dari Meyer-Petter Muller. Adapun total perkiraan sedimen yang masuk ke waduk selama 50 tahun adalah sebesar 7.629.799,05 m3. Selanjutnya perhitungan sedimen yang mengendap dilakukan dengan metode trap efficiency oleh Brune dan menghasilkan nilai sebesar 6.643.514,71 m3. Dari perhitungan diketahui volume akhir waduk pada tahun ke-50 adalah 13.756.485,29 m3. Sedimen yang mengendap di waduk diperkirakan sebesar 132.870,29 m3 per tahun. Dengan menggunakan data volume dead storage berdasar data teknis waduk 6.800.000 m3, dihitung sisa volume yang ada yaitu sebesar 156.485,29 m3. Perhitungan sisa umur waduk diperoleh dengan membandingkan sisa volume dengan volume sedimen per tahun. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rencana umur Waduk Jatibarang adalah 51,1 tahun. Kata Kunci: sedimentasi, sedimen layang, sedimen dasar, trap efisiensi, Waduk Jatibarang

Abstract

The East Semarang watershed is an area with diverse land conditions and the majority of the upstream and downstream areas are converted into settlements. This results in an increase in the rate of erosion which erodes the land and causes sedimentation in the downstream watershed. The higher the erosion rate, the higher the sedimentation, therefore the prediction of the erosion value is important as an indicator to recommend natural resource conservation activities. The purpose of this study is to predict erosion and sedimentation rates, and to recommend good conservation methods in an effort to reduce soil erosion. Land erosion analysis was obtained from the overlay of erosion parameter layers with the help of the ArcGIS program using the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method. Not all of the eroded soil surface in the watershed will be transported to the river, but some will settle on the watershed surface due to the interaction between the flow and the watershed surface. Sediments carried by measured river flows at the outlet were analyzed using the SDR (Sediment Delivery Ratio) method. Then it can be known the amount of sediment per year in the East Semarang watershed or by the term SY (Sediment Yield). Based on the calculation of land erosion in the East Semarang watershed, as big as 816,910.81 tons/year, which resulted in a total sedimentation of 4,641.39 tons/year. Erosion hazard classifications vary from very light to very severe, with the majority of the class being very severe in the upstream region with an area of ​​7,003.55 Ha. The recommendation proposed to overcome or reduce erosion is technical conservation, namely terracing and check dam techniques.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to strengthen the added value of each student through the ability to read and write academic and non-academic articles. Community service methods through tutorials, workshops, and assignments which are synergized with life skills teaching and extracurricular activities at SMAN 2 Mranggen. The service team, which consists of lecturers and students, works together by conducting training and supporting SMAN 2 Mranggen students in designing writing frameworks, creating writings, and publishing them in competitions, media, and newspapers. Considering the new normal situation after the COVID-19 pandemic, training can be carried out face-to-face with the PKM Team and training participants. In carrying out the training, we have coordinated together according to the time and place that has been determined. way of thinking, perspective, and behavior of SMAN 2 Mranggen students to participate individually and in groups in environmentally friendly activities to create an efficient and responsible lifestyle for the future. It can be concluded that this PKM activity has created a foundation of learning experiences and skills that enable students to describe their thoughts in a clear, sequential, logical language, taught practical ways of writing KTI, and detailed in the educational process of secondary education and then in higher education. Provides benefits if it is introduced in high school.

Abstract

Occupational safety, health, and environment (OSH) is inseparable from the labor and human resources system. Not only are safety, health and the work environment very important for employees, but safety, health, and the work environment also determine workplace productivity. According to Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Employment, what is meant by employment for workers is the obligation to provide protection, including the welfare of body and soul, safety, and health of workers. Companies take various steps to protect their employees from the dangers of work accidents. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an effort to protect part or all of the body from the potential hazards of work accidents and occupational diseases. This activity aims to foster a sense of responsibility among workers regarding the importance of implementing OSH so that they can minimize the number of work accidents. The method used in socialization is lectures. The results obtained are an increase in workers' understanding and discipline regarding the importance of OSH in the field.

Abstract

Perkembangan Teknologi dewasa ini mengalami pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat. Perlunya peningkatan kemampuan suatu lulusan perguruna tinggi yang dibekali kemampuan hardskill dan softskill. Khususnya pada matakuliah hidrologi, drainase dan kualitas air yaitu software SWMM. Kegiatan pelatihan ini memberikan pemahaman dan kemampuan pengembangan softskill bagi mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan Pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi/praktik dan melakukan evaluasi dengan memberikan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan di awal kegiatan dan setelah diberikan pelatihan software SWMM (Storm Water Management Model). Pelatihan ditujukan kepada Mahasiswa Teknik Sipil. Tutorial menitikberatkan pada pemodelan,persiapan pengisian parameter yang dibutuhkan seperti data hujan, data penampang saluran, kemiringan saluran/slope, yang tidak kalah penting adalah arah aliran serta elevasi pada junction saluran. Nantinya akan dilakukan simulasi sehingga dapat menghasilkan output berupa debit banjir. Berdasarkan hasil kegitaan pelatihan diperoleh hasil bahwa kegitana PKM ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan softskill yang dapat menjadi bekal dalam mempersiapkan diri jika nantinya masuk pada dunia kerja. Hasil capaian berdasarkan kuesioner pre-test sebesar 26% setelah dilakukan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 98%.
