Abstract

Adi Jaya Makmur’s Company is a compnay that sell the material’s building. The address in Gubernur Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo 79 street, on Krian Sidoarjo. It offers some kind of material’s building which are cement, sand, brick, limestone, paints etc. The goods it’s in Adi Jaya Makmur’s Company are all collected from the supplier or manufacturers who has already become colleague in business for the further they can sell to the costumer. In Adi Jaya Makmur’s company itself, they have trading system. Nowadays, we have a lot of rival in business which has effect on trading system volume unstable in Adi Jaya Makmur’s company, especially in some materials, which are Gresik’s cement, brick, sand and coral. The effect of the problems  are the inventory of the some variant of material are overfull rather than sales and the other side the inventory is empty or less so the costumer go to the next store. From the problems above, we make the inventory determination’s application based on the forecasting volume demand-based desktop  with the title “ Design’s Application Inventory Determination Based On The Forecasting Volume Demand On Adi Jaya Makmur’s Company” which capable give a lot of contribution on the company to decide the storage on the next period. The method which is used to do the forecasting is Smoothing model expontial winter’s method. This application that was made giving  the information about the amount of demand for goods and also give for the next period. Based on the implementation’s result and system evaluation, Design’s Application Inventory Determination Based On The Forecasting Volume Demand On Adi Jaya Makmur’s Company demand-based desktop will become the solution for the company to decide the amount of demand for goods to the next period.

Abstract

Banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar bahasa Inggris. Siswa merasa bahwa bahasa Inggris adalah mata pelajaran yang rumit, sehingga berdampak pada kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman membaca siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan SQ3R, pemahaman membaca siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan Reciprocal, dan menganalisis teknik yang lebih efektif antara SQ3R dan Reciprocal dalam pemahaman membaca siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas sepuluh berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel kelas yang terpilih dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Prosedur analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode tersebut sama-sama efektif dalam mengajar pemahaman bacaan. Hasil uji T-test pretest-posttest paired sample test terdapat perbedaan nilai siswa yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan, baik pada kelas Reciprocal, maupun kelas SQ3R. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji-t (independent sample test), diperoleh hasil t-hitung 0,242 < t-tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% (2,042) atau 1% (2,75). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 2.042>0.242<2.75. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas yang dibelajarkan menggunakan Reciprocal dan SQ3R. Pengajaran Reciprocal sama baiknya dengan metode SQ3R dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Reciprocal Teaching sama efektifnya dengan metode SQ3R dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Along with the times, false information easily spreads, including in Indonesia.  In Press Release No.485/HM/KOMINFO/12/2021 the Ministry of Communication and Information has cut off access to 565,449 negative content and published 1,773 clarifications on hoax and disinformation content. Research has been carried out regarding this matter, but it is necessary to classify fake news into disinformation and hoaxes. This study presents a comparison between our proposed model, which is an ensemble of shallow learning predictive models, namely Random Forest, Passive Aggressive Classifier, and Cosine Similarity, and the deep learning model that uses BERT-Indo for classification. Both models are trained using equivalent datasets, which contain 8757 news, consisting of 3000 valid news, 3000 hoax news, and 2757 disinformation news. These news were obtained from websites such as CNN, Kompas, Detik, Kominfo, Temanggung Mediacenter, Hoaxdb Aceh, Turnback Hoax, and Antara, which were then cleaned from all unnecessary substances, such as punctuation marks, numbers, Unicode, stopwords, and suffixes using the Sastrawi library. At the benchmarking stage, the shallow learning model is evaluated to increase accuracy by applying ensemble learning combined using hard voting.  This results in higher values, with an accuracy of 98.125%, precision of 98.2%, F-1 score of 98.1%, and recall of 98.1%, compared to the BERT-Indo model which only achieved 96.918% accuracy, 96.069% precision, 96.937% F-1 score, and 96.882% recall. Based on the accuracy value, shallow learning model is superior to deep learning model.  This machine learning model is expected to be used to combat the spread of hoaxes and disinformation in Indonesian news. Additionally, with this research, false news can be classified in more detail, both as hoaxes and disinformation
