Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya penggunaan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi bentuk dan operasi aljabar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) dengan tujuan mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efisien menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Persentase kevalidan dari hasil penilaian ahli materi dan media sebesar 92,6% dan 90,9% dengan kategori sangat valid. Persentase kepraktisan media dilihat dari respon guru sebesar 95,4% dan respon siswa 89% dengan kategori sangat baik. Uji-t dilakukan untuk menguji keefektifan menggunakan tes hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan hasil pengujian t_hitung=2,014695t_tabel=1,686  yang artinya belajar menggunakan media ini lebih efektif daripada yang tidak menggunakan. Kesimpulannya, media yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Mathematics Departement. Faculty of Mathematics, Natural and Earth Sciences. Manado Dtate University. Tondano. 2023. This studies is motivated through problems determined in learning mathematics that are observed from various factors, one in every of which is the dearth of use of media. The purpose of this observe changed into to supply mastering video media products on cube and block cloth with a geogebra-assisted task primarily based mastering (PjBL) model in magnificence VIII SMP Negeri Satap Molobog which is valid, practical and effective. The ADDIE development methodology (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) is used in this form of study, which is referred to as research and development (R&D). 16 kids from SMP Satap Negeri Molobog's eighth grade served as the study's participants. Interviews, questionnaires, learning assessment worksheets in the form of learning implementation plans (RPP), student worksheets (LKPD), and outcomes evaluation questions were all included in the study tools and documentation, data analysis to create learning media products, and knowledge of the valid, prtical, and effective of the generated goods. the share of validity of the consequences of the media professional's evaluation became 92.374% and the share of the result of the material professional's evaluation turned into 94.78% with a completely valid category. For the praticality percent of the media visible from the teacher's response of 96.36% and for student responses 94.625% within the very good category. This evolved learning media meets the effective standards based on the proportion of classical getting to know completeness of 81.25%> 75% of students who are declared to have finished getting to know the use of the learning media used. Abstract

This research was done to know student learning outcomes in junior high schools using the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model in the PMR (Realistic Mathematical Education Approach) setting. This study used a quasi-experimental method (Quasi-Experimental Design). In contrast, the sampling technique used was random cluster sampling using two classes, one as the experimental group class and one as the control group class. Data analysis techniques are normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. Based on the study's results, it was found that there was an increase in student learning outcomes. The scores of student test results indicate this. Of 24 students who did not pass, only 2 people (5%) and 22 people (95%) passed. So that the results of the study concluded that the average student learning outcomes taught exceeded the minimum completeness criteria set by the school

Abstract

This study sought to examine and evaluate the average learning outcomes of students who received instruction in a system of two-variable linear equations using either the direct learning model or the blended learning model. The research employed the posttest-only control design. The participants in this study comprised of two groups: class VIII-A, an Experimental class consisting of 17 students, and class VIII-B, a control class consisting of 17 students at SMP Negeri 4 Touluaan. The data collected pertains to the posttest outcomes in both the Experiment and Control groups, indicating an average learning outcome of 85.29 for the Experiment group and 77.94 for the Control group. The normality test for the data is satisfied when the data follows a normal distribution. The study yielded results indicating a significant level of 0.05, with the obtained t-value of 1.89098 being greater than the critical t-value of 1.694. According to the findings of this study, students who engage in Blended Learning exhibit superior learning outcomes in the context of acquiring proficiency in solving systems of linear equations with two variables, as compared to students who rely solely on direct instruction.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran matematika khususnya materi himpunan siswa sering melakukan berbagai kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui berbagai kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa pada saat mengerjakan soal terkait materi himpunan. Jenis kesalahan yang difokuskan pada penelitian ini adalah kesalahan dalam memahami masalah, Menyusun rencana pemecahan masalah, melakukan rencana pemecahan masalah, dan memeriksa kembali solusi yang diperoleh. Penelitian itu tergolong penelitian deskriptif, dengan jumlah populasi sebayak 20 siswa, dan diambil sampel 3 orang dan dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan metode tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kesalahan yang sering dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan Masalah pada pokok bahasan himpunan yaitu: (a) kesalahan dalam memahami masalah yaitu 60% (b) Kesalahan menyusun rencana yaitu 61% (c) kesalahan melaksanakan rencana yaitu 52% (d) Kesalahan dalam memeriksa kembali solusi yang diperoleh 52%.

Abstract

The availability of learning media that can stimulate interest and student learning outcomes is very important in learning. The purpose of this research was to find out the Development of Powtoon-Based Learning Media in Sets. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Remboken. The type of research used is research and development or Research and Development. The resulting media prototype was developed using the modified ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and development). The research results obtained from developing powtoon-based learning media in the set are expressed by an average validation score of 4.19 by media experts and 4.6 by material experts. This learning media meets valid criteria and can be used in learning.

Abstract

This study tries to identify the faults and circumstances that lead students to miscalculate when attempting to solve word problems involving a system of linear equations with two variables using Watson's criteria. This kind of study employs qualitative, descriptive research methods. Data was gathered using a variety of methods, including analysis, interviews, documentation, and a written test with five-item description questions. Class VIII students from SMP Negeri 5 Tondano 2022/2023 served as the study's sources and subjects. They were chosen after careful consideration. Data analysis techniques in this study through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the students' errors were incorrect data, inappropriate procedures, response level conflicts, and skills hierarchy problems. The causative factors are that students are not careful when writing answers, students think that conclusions do not need to be written down, students forget how to change the story form questions into the form of mathematical models or the principles used are still wrong, students forget to write examples, students are wrong in operating numbers either subtraction, addition, division and multiplication, students forgot to write conclusions, students were unable to write down existing data, students did not know how to answer questions, students forgot to find x and y values using the substitution method, students used wrong marks in mathematics, students ran out of time when solving problems.

Abstract

When learning mathematics, students sometimes experience errors in understanding concepts, data, procedures, and principles, especially in algebraic operations. This research analyzes students' errors in solving mathematics problems on algebraic operations material. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Kawangkoan. The instruments used were written tests, interviews, and expert validation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative techniques, including data collection, reduction, and conclusion. The conclusions obtained include that students experience three types of errors in solving mathematics problems: data errors, theorem or definition errors, and technical errors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the utilization of information technology in mathematics learning in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Parigi Selatan. This is a case study that describes an actual situation. In collecting data, the researcher used data collection procedures through interviews with informants, who, in this case, were students, as the source of data and information. Qualitative data analysis in this research uses the SWOT analysis method, which systematically identifies various factors to formulate company strategies. This analysis is based on the logic that can maximize strengths and opportunities while minimizing weaknesses and threats. Then, identify the types of errors and conclude. From the strengths perspective, the results indicate that implementing online learning allows learning resources to be easily accessed online. From the perspective of weaknesses, an unstable internet connection affects students' focus on learning and teaching. From the perspective of opportunities, online learning enhances students' self-learning skills and provides new insights into technology and learning. Finally, from the perspective of threats, students' learning motivation decreases.
