Abstract

This journal reviews the Methods and Techniques of Educational Supervision at the UINSU MAL. This study aims to determine the methods and techniques carried out by the Principal as a supervisor which are implemented in educational supervision at MAL UINSU Medan. Methods and techniques of educational supervision are the methods and tools used by supervisors to achieve the goals of the supervision itself which in the end can make teaching improvements according to the situation and conditions. The research instruments are observation, interviews and documentation studies. The source of the data from the results of this study was the results of interviews with the Principal of the MAL UINSU School, namely Dr. Zunaidar Sinaga M.Pd. the results of the research conducted show that the method or approach used by the principal as an educational supervisor is adjusted based on the performance characteristics of each teacher in order to achieve the planned educational goals. The method used is direct action, a way of approaching problems that are direct.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to determine the most important aspects of character education in order to improve student morale at MAS Nurul Fadhilah. This research is motivated by the moral crisis occurring among students today, which is exacerbated by the current situation and can have a significant impact on the development of character and morality among students. Looking at world developments, currently many students use technology for entertainment and have poor morals and social skills in society. Therefore, character education is very important to develop a high-quality generation and foster a sense of responsibility. Character education consists of God Almighty, obeying legal rules, implementing interactions between communities, implementing spiritual, moral and ethical values in Indonesian society. This research uses qualitative methodology. The data collection techniques used were library and field studies. Literature review was carried out by looking for credible journals. Next, case studies are carried out through interviews and observations. The informants in the research were one of the teaching staff and two students at MAS Nurul Fadhilah

Abstract

Budaya 5S (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, Santun) merupakan salah satu budaya sekolah yang bertujuan membangun interaksi sosial yang harmonis dan mencerminkan nilai-nilai kesopanan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. SMA Budi Satrya telah menerapkan budaya 5S sebagai bagian dari tata tertib untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif. Namun, efektivitas penerapan budaya ini terhadap interaksi sosial siswa masih belum cukup terdata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh budaya 5S terhadap interaksi sosial siswa kelas XI Matriks di SMA Budi Satrya.Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Sampel terdiri dari 31 siswa kelas XI Matriks, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,581, yang berarti terdapat hubungan sedang antara budaya 5S dan interaksi sosial siswa. Budaya 5S memberikan kontribusi sebesar 33,75% terhadap interaksi sosial siswa, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Mayoritas siswa menunjukkan sikap ramah dan santun, tetapi konsistensi dalam penerapan budaya ini masih memerlukan peningkatan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa budaya 5S memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk interaksi sosial yang positif, meskipun perlu adanya program pembiasaan yang lebih efektif di sekolah.
