Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk podcast untuk memperkuat pemahaman konsep. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi PPKn semester tiga yang mengambil Mata Kuliah Hukum Perburuhan pada semester Ganjil 2022-2023.  Metode penelitian menggunakan metode pengembangan (Reaserch and Development) yang mengacu pada R & D dengan langkah-langkah; 1) studi pendahuluan, 2) pengembangan produk dan 3) uji produk. Tahap pertama dilakukan analisis kebutuhan yang menyatakan bahwa mahasiswa menyukai pembelajaran menggunakan video apalagi berbentuk podcast. Sehingga untuk memaksimalkan pembelajaran hukum perburuhan maka diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbentuk podcast.  Podcast dikembangkan untuk mengajak mahasiswa berfikir analitik dan evaluatik. Hasil penelitian dinyatakan bahwa produk podcast yang dihasilkan valid dan praktis untuk dipakai dalam pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Hukum Perburuhan. ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop learning media in the form of podcasts to strengthen conceptual understanding. The research subjects were third semester PPKn students who took the Labor Law course in the odd semester of 2022-2023. The research method uses the research and development method which refers to R & D with steps; 1) preliminary study, 2) product development and 3) product test. The first stage was a needs analysis which stated that students liked learning using videos, especially in the form of podcasts. So to maximize the learning of labor law, it is necessary to develop learning media in the form of podcasts. The podcast was developed to invite students to think analytically and evaluatively. The results of the study stated that the resulting podcast product was valid and practical to use in learning Labor Law courses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan mahasiswa jurusan PIPS FKIP Unsri untuk mengikuti program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) ditinjau dari aspek kompetensi guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester VII yang ada di jurusan PIPS FKIP Unsri sebanyak 232 mahasiswa, dan sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 25% yaitu 60 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara yang kemudian di analisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa jurusan PIPS FKIP Unsri belum sepenuhnya memahami Program PPG terutama bagaimana kurikulum atau materi yang ada pada program PPG, pelaksanaannya, dan apa yang harus dipersiapkan. Sehingga mereka belum ada persiapan untuk mengikuti program PPG dan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang PPG hanya sebatas pengertian PPG saja.

Abstract

The rapid development of globalization, with the complexity of challenges that must be faced by the younger generation, character education is a foundation that helps shape the personality and morality of individuals. This study aims to analyze the role of parents in the digital era in making character education a success in Junior High Schools. The research approach used is a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation and literature studies. The results of the study stated that parents have a very significant role in making character education a success. Among the roles of parents are to provide role models to the entire school community as a manifestation of the implementation of the PPK program; support the implementation of the PPK program independently and cooperatively; support the implementation of intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities based on PPK; support the implementation of the five-day school policy; carry out monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the PPK program; and create a conducive home atmosphere in instilling character values. Some of these roles are still homework that needs to be improved, the decline in exemplary behavior from parents of students in interacting with teachers and the entire school community, the decline in the level of support from parents of students in character learning at school. Therefore, for the success of character education in junior high schools, parents of students should understand their roles, while on the other hand, teachers and the school community should also understand their respective roles.
