Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of a diesel engine display and findout how much student learning outcomes (understanding) improve about diesel enginecomponents by using the visual aid. Based on the results of the product feasibility test itis obtained a percentage of 82% for media experts with a very decent category and 78%for material experts with a feasible category. Based on the results of the study, an increasein the average of pretest-posttest value is 23 or 40%, the t-test shows the value of t count= 14.89> t table = 2.02. The increase of student learning outcomes indicates an averageof the N-Gain test = 0.57 with the criteria of moderate improvement.Keywords: Learning outcomes, visuals aid, understanding, diesel engine

Abstract

The resulting engine performance motorcycle injection less than the maximum. This is due to inadequate intake of fuel sprayed by the injector and injection duration short. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of a standard ECU and ECU juken with injector variation of the torque and power of motorcycle Yamaha V-Ixion. The study used a motorcycle Yamaha V-Ixion. The method used in this research is true experimental design and data analysis descriptive statistics. The results showed that the use of standard injector standard ECU obtain maximum torque of 13.2 Nm and 10.33 kW maximum power, while the injector racing produces the highest torque Nm 13.32 and 10.40 kW power. On the use of the ECU juken 14.06 Nm torque and power 11.02 kW while ECU juken racing injector of torque 14.31 Nm and 11.22 kW power. Based on test results, it can be concluded that the use of the ECU juken racing injector effect in increasing the torque and power of motorcycle injection

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the value of torque, power, fuel consumption and exhaustemissions on a 125cc 4-stroke gasoline engine by providing treatment for the fuel used. The treatmentused is in the form of mixing bioethanol fuel with alcohol content of 99.63% with pertalite 90 fuel on amixture variation of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%. The gasoline motor used in this study was theHonda Vario 125 Esp which was tested in the engine speed range of 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500,6000, 6500, 7000, 7500, and 8000 rpm using the Dynamometer, Exausht Gas Analzer and burette Thereare 2 highest torque values in the tested fuel namely 25% bioethanol fuel mixture with 75% pertalite witha torque value of 22.56 Nm at 4000 rpm and 30% bioethanol fuel mixture with 70% pertalite with a torquevalue of 22.56 Nm at 3500 rpm, the highest power value in the tested fuel is 30% bioethanol fuel mixturewith 70% pertalite with power value of 9.62 kW at 4500 rpm, the lowest fuel consumption value in 30%bioethanol fuel mixture with 70% pertalite % with FC value of 0.134 kg / h, while the lowest Hydrocarbon(HC) value in the tested fuel is 30% bioethanol fuel mixture with 70% pertalite achieving i 743.67 ppm.The addition of bioethanol is not accompanied by a decrease in Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas levels. Thereis the lowest Carbon Monoxide (CO) value in the tested fuel, that is pure pertalite fuel itself, which is1.14% vol.Keywords: Bioethanol, Pertalite, Torque, Power, Fuel Consumption, Flue Gas Emissions Dynamometer, Exhaust Gas Analyzer, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Variasi Berat Roller dan Pegas Pully Sekunder pada CVT (Countinuously Variable Transmission) terhadap Daya, Torsi, dan Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Honda Beat PGM-FI 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasi experimental dengan bentuk one-shot case study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengujian menggunakan berat roller 11 gram, 13 gram (standar), 15 gram dan konstanta pegas sliding sheave 2.45 N/mm, 2.94 N/mm (standar), 3.43 N/mm berpengaruh terhadap peforma mesin. Torsi tertinggi dicapai oleh berat roller 11 gram dan pegas dengan nilai konstanta 3.43 N/mm pada putaran mesin 3000 rpm sebesar 19.29 N.m. Daya tertinggi dicapai oleh berat roller 11 gram dan pegas dengan nilai konstanta 2.45 N/mm pada putaran mesin 5000 rpm sebesar 8.55 HP. Konsumsi bahan bakar yang paling ekonomis dari putaran rendah sampai putaran tinggi dengan penggunaan variasi berat roller 11 gram dan pegas 2.45 N/mm memiliki konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik sebesar 0.095 kg/kW.jam.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan daya dan torsi sepeda motor Supra Fit berbahan bakar LPG antara waktu pengapian standar dengan waktu pengapian yang dimajukan, rasio kompresi standar dengan rasio kompresi yang ditingkatkan, serta kondisi standar dengan kondisi waktu pengapian yang dimajukan dan rasio kompresi yang ditingkatkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, yaitu dengan menguji daya dan torsi sepeda motor berbahan bakar LPG pada dynotester. Waktu pengapian standar adalah 15° BTDC, sedangkan waktu pengapian yang dimajukan adalah 18° dan 21° BTDC. Rasio kompresi standar adalah 8,8: 1, sedangkan rasio kompresi yang ditingkatkan adalah 9,3: 1 dan 9,8: 1.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan daya dan torsi ketika waktu pengapian standar  dimajukan menjadi 18° dan 21° BTDC, dan ketika rasio kompresi standar ditingkatkan menjadi 9,3: 1 dan 9,8: 1.  Daya dan torsi juga mengalami peningkatan ketika rasio kompresi 9,3: 1 dengan waktu pengapian 18° dan 21° BTDC dibandingkan dengan kondisi standar, namun mengalami penurunan ketika rasio kompresi 9,8:1 dengan waktu pengapian 18° dan 21° BTDC.
