Abstract

This analysis aims to identify delay factors and reduce the risk of delay in construction projects using the CPM method in the construction project of the East Ring Road Kuningan. The results of the study show that common factors that can have an impact on delays include the provision of materials, workforce readiness, and schedule adjustment to weather conditions. Therefore, supervision and control on critical routes must be carried out intensively to ensure that the project can be completed on time according to plan because delays in one activity alone will have a direct impact on the overall project completion.

Abstract

Supply chain management in residential construction projects requires a performance measurement system that supports effective evaluation, control, and decision-making. This study aims to analyze the effect of supply chain performance measurement on the performance of the housing development supply chain. The research was designed using an explanatory quantitative approach with a structured, questionnaire-based survey method. Data were collected cross-sectionally from 50 respondents who are the main actors in the housing supply chain, including project managers, contractors, subcontractors, procurement staff, and material suppliers. Supply chain performance measurement is operationalized through the dimensions of cost efficiency, timeliness, quality, flexibility, collaboration, risk management, and sustainability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS. The results show that supply chain performance measurement has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the housing development supply chain (? = 0.791; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.651. These findings indicate that approximately 65.1% of the variations in housing supply chain performance can be explained by supply chain performance measurement. This research makes a theoretical contribution by positioning supply chain performance measurement as a strategic construct tested inferentially, rather than merely an evaluative tool. Practically, the results confirm the importance of implementing a structured supply chain performance measurement system to improve the operational performance of housing projects. All data presented are processed survey data, allowing replication and retesting in different research contexts.

Abstract

Reclamation work on port projects requires embankment materials with adequate bearing capacity, particularly in soaked areas that are saturated with water and potentially subject to soil strength degradation. In the Patimban Port Development Project (Phase 1–2) Package 6: Container Terminal No. 2 Construction, the use of sand as reclamation embankment requires further assessment using the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) parameter to ensure the soil's suitability as a subgrade layer. Variations in soil characteristics due to the layered embankment process and the potential for liquefaction are important factors influencing soil stability. This study aims to determine the suitability of the subgrade layer's CBR value to existing theory, analyze the effect of the reclaimed material's CBR value on subgrade performance, and assess the suitability of the reclaimed soil as a subgrade layer based on CBR technical parameters. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through laboratory testing and field testing using Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) at 20 test points. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the CBR value of the subgrade layer is in accordance with existing theory, where all values are above the minimum limit of 6% and follow the theoretical pattern in the form of a decrease in the saturated layer and an increase in depth due to overburden pressure; (2) the CBR value of the reclaimed material has a direct effect on subgrade performance, where a lower CBR value in a particular layer becomes a controlling layer that affects the potential for deformation and overall soil stability; and (3) the reclaimed soil meets the technical requirements as a subgrade layer, with CBR values ranging from 8.98% to 22.64% at various depths, making it suitable for use as a supporting layer for construction.

Abstract

Building the 864-unit housing complex was a significant construction undertaking. Within an implementation period of 18 months and a project area of approximately 34 hectares, this project demanded efficient management to control the time and budget that had been set. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to implement effective planning, organization, management and resource allocation processes. This process aims to break down project management into simpler tasks or activities, provide time estimates for each task, and continuously monitor their progress. Although conventional planning tools such as Primavera and Msproject can provide a time representation of the tasks to be performed, they are not yet able to provide spatial or geographic monitoring of these tasks within the scope of the project. By integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS), this project can gain additional benefits. GIS allows identifying data about the progress of construction tasks, and then presenting them in the form of maps. This not only visualizes overall progress graphically and geographically, but also makes it easy to extract useful summaries to support project decision making. With GIS, construction project monitoring not only becomes more efficient, but also more up-to-date and relevant to the scope of the project involving various dispersed structures. It is hoped that GIS integration can improve project management control and optimize the final results of the construction of the 864 housing complexes.
