Abstract

Kali Padang village has a big problem, namely the price of tomatoes at the farmer's level which is very low during the harvest season. This condition is further exacerbated by the nature of tomatoes that are easily damaged, causing a decrease in quality and economic value. The introduction of tomato commodity downstream activities is needed by empowering the housewives of farmers. So the purpose of the purpose of this activity is to: 1) Introduce the technology of making tomato sauce to farm women groups, 2) Introduce how to do hygienic tomato packaging, 3) Introduce how to determine the cost of production and the selling price of tomato sauce processed, and 4) Carry out one element of Higher Education Tri Dharma, namely Community Service. The service method is done by counseling, introducing technology and applying technology. This dedication activity has introduced the technology of making tomato sauce to farm women's groups. Carrying out these service activities in general can provide knowledge and skills of processing tomatoes into tomato sauce. The packaging skills of a farm woman increase and how to do hygienic tomato sauce packaging. The ability to determine cost of goods is also done well. There has been a change in knowledge, attitudes and skills of the target group after the science and technology service activities were carried out.

Abstract

Desa Sukasari Kecamatan Air Periukan Kabupaten Seluma menjadi salah satu yang bergerak aktif dalam pengelolaan potensi desa melalui beberapa kelembagaan desa aktif diantaranya Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes), Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT), Karang Taruna, dan Koperasi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat desa Sukasari yakni belum optimalnya pemanfaatan potensi desa yang disebabkan oleh minimnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap potensi-potensi apa saja yang tersedia didesa. Melalui proses focus group discussion (FGD) bersama stakeholder desa dapat ditentukan potensi-potensi desa yang dapat dikembangkan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan desa. Pengaplikasian metode analisis Tujuh Bentang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi-potensi wilayah desa Sukasari Kecamatan Air Periukan Kabupaten Seluma yang nantinya akan digunakan dalam menetapkan program-program pengembangan desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusias masyarakat cukup tinggi tercermin dari keaktifan dalam berdiskusi. Hasil analisis dari proses FGD menunjukkan terdapat 6 bentang yang berpotensi di Desa Sukasari yakni Alam, Sosial, Ekonomi, Teknologi, Pasar, dan Manusia

Abstract

Capture fisheries in Mukomuko are the main source of livelihood for the local fishing community. Mukomuko waters are one of the areas in Bengkulu Province with a coastline of 98.22 km. The potential of fisheries and marine in Mukomuko is certainly a great opportunity for poverty alleviation in the area. By developing local advantages and involving the local fishing community, it is hoped that the coastal area of Mukomuko can develop sustainably. The mission of the Mukomuko regent to make the area a center for agro-industry and agricultural trade can also support better local economic growth. The research method used is to utilize secondary data from the Mukomuko district marine and fisheries office and analysis of previous research results. Research materials include fisheries production, ship fleets, fishing gear, fishermen's conditions, and catches.
