Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of instructional media on students' interest in social studies learning at SDN 15 Tilamuta, Boalemo Regency. This study adopts a quantitative research method that aims to test research hypotheses related to the variables under investigation. It is a study that tests theories by measuring research variables using numerical data and conducting data analysis through statistical procedures. The study utilizes the ex post facto methodFrom the analysis results, it is revealed that the influence of LCD instructional media (X) on students' interest in learning at SDN 15 Tilamuta is 0.374, which significantly affects students' interest in learning at SDN 15 Tilamuta. The regression coefficient indicates that the influence of LCD instructional media on interest in learning aligns with the theory. Furthermore, based on the t-test value, the Tukey value obtained is 3.653, and the significance value of the LCD instructional media is 0.001, which is smaller than the probability value of 0.05. Abstract

Learning media are suggestions used in an educational context to help and improve the student learning process. Various learning media such as textbooks, audio, video, images, computer software, models, and other equipment specifically designed to guide, provide information, and facilitate effective understanding of learning material. To increase the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of learning so that it meets expectations, in the learning process teachers are encouraged to carry out various innovations such as by creating learning media, especially in subjects that are considered difficult, so that students will be more interested in learning. In this research, researchers used qualitative descriptive methods. This writing is also based on observations made by researchers at SDN 11 Tilamuta. The results of this research include 1) teachers have played a role in utilizing various types of mathematics learning media, adapted to the material that will be taught. 2) teachers are also involved in motivating and facilitating students in learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of class teachers in approaches and models of mathematics learning for class IV students at SDN 15 Tilamuta. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of research being descriptive. The subjects in this research were class teachers and class IV students using the discovery learning, learning model which was carried out by providing stimulation. Problem identification statement, data collection, data processing, verification and drawing conclusion/generalization. Data collection techniques are carried out through ovservation, interview and documentation. The research results show that when teacherch use the discovery learning model, 80% of students can understand the lessons given by the teacher

Abstract

This research aims to find out what preparations are made by class V teachers in implementing mathematics learning. The method used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis. The subjects this research were class V students who provided research data through interviews. The informant in this research was the fifth grade teacher ad SD Negeri 14 Tialmuta. The data analysis used in this research is adat reduction, data presentation, and verification. In this research,researchers produced findings about the preparations carried out by teacher in implementing mathematics learning, including preparing a learning implementation plan (RPP). Learning media, learning methods and learning evaluation. The obstacle in learning preparation is that many students cannot calculate and memorize multiplication and many students are not serious about studying mathematics.

Abstract

This study was conducted due to elementary school students' lack of understanding of mathematics. The aim is to assess the implementation of behavioristic learning theory in mathematics learning in class V. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of behavioristic learning theory improved students' understanding in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the cooperative learning model of Team Games Tournament (TGT) to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts on fractions at SDN 07 Tilamuta. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 30 fifth-grade students. The results indicate that the application of the TGT learning model can enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This is evidenced by the increase in the average test scores of concept understanding in each cycle. In the first cycle, the average student score was 65, which increased to 80 in the second cycle. Furthermore, students' learning activities also improved, marked by their active participation in group discussions and game tournaments. In conclusion, the implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model is effective in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts on fractions at SDN 07 Tilamuta. It is recommended that teachers consider using this learning model in teaching mathematics for other topics as well.
