Abstract

Time Synchronization is a method used to synchronize a node on the network. The purpose of Time Synchronization is to equalize the nodes on the network and after the Time Synchronization method is implemented, other supporting methods can be implemented as well. There are various synchronization methods that have been circulating and have been implemented, in this study using the Reference Broadcast Synchronization method in this method using a beacon as a marker for synchronizing the time for the communication media used is Bluetooth Low Energy, the system design in this study uses 3 1 node will serve as BLE Server and 2 nodes will be used as BLE clients. The function of the BLE Server is a trigger that will send a beacon to each BLE Client, the BLE Client will receive the beacon and synchronize the RBS time. The hardware used in this research is the ESP32 microcontroller as the main processing, the DS3231 RTC Module as a timer for each BLE client. The test parameters carried out are the calculation of the accuracy of synchronization of computation time and time when synchronizing time, testing the calculation of the accuracy of the finished system getting a value of 16.3ms, which means synchronization of RBS time on BLE communication media produces a fairly accurate value, while testing computational calculations from the finished system produces a value of 133.1ms which means synchronization of RBS time on BLE communication media produces fast time.

Abstract

Today, the development of robot was growing so quick, one of them is Humanoid Robot. As like the name, Humanoid Robot have feet that have walks and shaped like human does. This robot has two feet that consisted of three DoF (Degree of Freedom) for one of each foot. Humanoid Robot use Inverse Kinematic method to walk which using end of effector as the coordinate. The result that suggested from Inverse Kinematic method were the coordinate destination. The implementation of Humanoid Robot we do it on MATLAB and Simulink to test about the mechanism from the robot if it were applied on software. The difference was shown for the avability of the hardware and its tools and the result sometimes would be different if applied in real world. There are some differences when robot got implemented compared with physical ones. From this research, there are 11 trials to measure about success rate for robot to able to walk successfully from the robot if their variables from physical appereances were modified. As the result, there are 54,54% success rate compared with the original variables that got from trial and error.

Abstract

One of the principal food suppliers in some countries is rice, not limited to Indonesia. The need for rice is predicted to continue to increase annually as rice consumers increase. Rice treatment should be used properly. But not all refined rice will be consumed. It's because of the ill-fitting measures which tend to become food waste. In order to alleviate the problem, it required a tool that calculated the precise ratio of rice and water and could predict the quality of rice maturity. On the study, the weight of rice and the volume of water became the key sharer in the classification of rice maturity levels. Thus, loadcell sensors and hx711 modules will be required as weight stabilizers and linear regression as a as a calculation method for making predictions. There are 30 training data and 15 testing data in the testing process. The result was 90% accuracy in weighing rice and water volume with an average computing time was 20,46 seconds.

Abstract

Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy is a protocol based on dynamic cluster tree topology. This protocol can rotate the role of the cluster head periodically, which aims to evenly distribute the load between nodes, thereby increasing the lifetime of the wireless sensor network. Several studies have been conducted on the LEACH, but these studies only implemented the LEACH protocol using network simulation. In this study, the authors implement the LEACH on a real Arduino-based system and nRF24L01 as a data transmission module. This protocol will be compared with protocols based on static clustering. The node module uses Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V, and the base station uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller. LEACH protocol testing is done by monitoring the data received from all nodes through the base station's serial monitor. The data sent from the node is the average current from each node. the test was carried out for one hour, so that the current value used per hour was obtained. With this value, lifetime predictions can be made with a certain battery size. In this case, the battery size used is 1000mAh. The results of the lifetime testing of the system using the the static clustering protocol only lasted about 40 hours, while the results of the lifetime testing of the system using the LEACH protocol have an average lifetime of about 88 hours and 53 minutes, which is an increase by more than twice the lifetime.

Abstract

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a technology consisting of a collection of nodes that are spread out within the scope of the system that can be used for monitoring, tracking and controlling equipment. Each node on the WSN uses a wireless network in exchanging data so that it allows data to be seen and collected by other parties by eavesdropping on the data exchange path between nodes. The data seen and collected by other parties may contain sensitive information such as identity, location, etc. In this study the author uses the streamciper method in securing data with the Snow-v algorithm. Streamciper was chosen because of its simplicity in securing data and its speed. The Snow-v algorithm is a new algorithm that offers speed and lightness in running the algorithm. The Snow-v algorithm is also a proposal in the encryption of perimits in 5G systems. In this study, the snow-v algorithm is used as a keystream generator in the streamciper. In this study, using nRF24L01 as a communication module for data exchange between nodes using radio frequency media and Arduino Uno as a tool used as a medium to run the Streamciper method and the Snow-v algorithm. From the research results, the data cannot be read by other pilaks who are eavesdropping on the exchange of data between nodes. In this study, the average time required for the node to encrypt is 241 ms and the time required to decrypt the data is 185 ms.

Abstract

Bus is one type of land transportation in Indonesia that can be enjoyed by all people. One of these types of buses has received great attention in the world's transportation mode around the world, namely BRT. In real conditions, Transjakarta uses GPS and sends it to the control center continuously. Therefore, the author implements the concept of moving block in the scope of the BRT transportation mode so that the bus can exchange information about the location of the bus at that time and send it to the control center then the center will give further orders what to do by the bus driver. The result of this research is that the concept of moving block signaling can be implemented on a small scale using a communication protocol with a delay of 0.12 - 0.18 seconds for sending and receiving information data from each system connected to the 802.11 network and the same access point. The results of this value can be a benchmark for developing this research in the future.

Abstract

Salted eggs are one of the foods made from eggs that are preserved by salting. Most use duck eggs for preservation and it is possible to use other eggs. Salted eggs have different kinds such as boiled salted eggs, baked salted eggs, smoked salted eggs and grilled salted eggs. In detecting eggs that have been mashed and not mashed, the conventional method is still used. To distinguish between fried eggs and unmarried eggs, to determine the level of saltiness of salted eggs, the TCS3200 sensor will be used to detect the white and yolk colors. For the Arduino Mega Microcontroller, it is used for the proces implemented by the K-NN method to calculate the RGB result value. The results of the first TCS3200 obtained an average value of 4.05% while second TCS3200 obtained an average value of 8.34%. As for the accuracy of K-NN, the value is 66.67% where the difference is not too prominent so it is classified as good..

Abstract

Vehicles are one of the necessities needed by humans at this time, especially in Indonesia, where the number of vehicle accidents is quite large, especially in remote areas, and far from health facilities. For that we need a vehicle accident report system, which is reliable and accurate. The tool must be able to detect accidents accurately and be able to send messages to the victim's family. However, in an accident, the vehicle will be in a condition that can cause damage to components or modules as a whole. These problems can cause the device to be unable to detect accidents. Therefore, the system must be equipped with the N-Modular Redundancy method, as a method to disguise errors that occur in the module and allow the tool to continue to work, even if there is damage. N-Modular Redundancy or NMR is a method based on the principle of the Triple Modular Redundancy or TMR method, but this method uses "N" modules instead of three as in TMR. (Elena Dubrova, 2013). The system consists of 3 MPU-6050 sensors as vehicle tilt sensors, 1 TC9548A module as a hardware fault tolerant implementation, 1 Arduino Nano as a microcontroller, and 1 NodeMCU ESP8266 as a message sender. From the test results, the tool has a reliability value of 95%, and a failure rate value of 0.24%, and is able to run 50% more test cycles than identical tools that do not have a reliability function. The results of the tool process will be displayed in the e-mail.

Abstract

Public transportation is very popular with many people, one of which is the busway or bus rapid transit. However, due to the large number of public transport users and also the limited transportation fleet, public transport passengers are jostled, especially during rush hours. Especially with the Covid-19 pandemic, public transportation has become a vulnerable place for the spread of the virus. To prevent the spread of the virus as well as unwanted things, public transport service providers make policies by limiting the number of passengers. However, it is still not effective, therefore a wireless sensor network- based system was created to calculate the maximum number of passengers who boarded one bus. By tapping the passenger counter module and the module will send the number of passengers to the passenger monitoring system using the MQTT communication protocol. It takes between 0.5-1.5 seconds for the passenger counter module to calculate and send data to the passenger monitoring system with the MQTT communication protocol
