Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengidentifikasi konsep yang peserta didik  mengalami miskonsepsi dan (2) mengetahui persentase peserta didik yang miskonsepsi pada materi lapisan atmosfer. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey  dengan metode kombinasi (Mixed Method) menggunakan desain squential explanatory. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 1.677 peserta didik dari 5 sekolah terakreditasi A yakni SMPN 15 Makassar, SMPN 18 Makassar, SMPN 24 Makassar, SMPN 26 Makassar dan SMPN 27 Makassar. Penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan Rumus Slovin secara Random Class Sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 468 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu soal pilihan ganda beralasan dengan tingkat keyakinan (three-tier diagnostic test) sebanyak 5 butir soal yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli dan melewati validasi item. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes tertulis soal three-tier diagnostic test dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa: (1)  peserta didik mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep komponen penyusun atmosfer, hubungan antara ketinggian tempat, tekanan udara dan jumlah molekul udara di atmosfer dan (2) Miskonsepsi terjadi pada semua konsep pada materi lapisan atmosfer dengan persentase miskonsepsi peserta didik pada setiap konsep terkait komponen penyusun atmosfer sebesar 68,70% (tinggi), hubungan antara ketinggian tempat, tekanan udara dan jumlah molekul udara di atmosfer  sebesar 64,60% (tinggi). Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Lapisan Atmosfer, Three-Tier Test

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) laboratory management from the perspective of school principals 2) laboratory management from the perspective of science teachers 3) laboratory management from the perspective of students. The research method of research used is the survey method. The study population was all people in UPT SPF SMPN 24 Makassar. The sampling technique used was random sampling, using the slovin formula with a sample of 120 students, sampling teachers and principals using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results showed that: 1) laboratory management in terms of the principal's perspective on the evaluation aspect, the majority chose the answer “Always” as much as 66.7%, 2) laboratory management in terms of the perspective of science teachers in the planning aspect, the majority chose the answer “Always” as much as 51.5%, the implementation aspect, the majority chose the answer “Often” as much as 35.29%, and the evaluation aspect, the majority chose the answer “Rarely” as much as 40.74%, 3) laboratory management in terms of the perspective of students in the implementation aspect, the majority chose the answer “Always” as much as 27.06% in UPT SPF SMPN 27 Makassar
