Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think pair share) berbasis budaya Minangkabau terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, (2) menganalisis interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think pair share) berbasis budaya Minangkabau dan kemampuan awal matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalur. Hasil penelitiaan menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think pair share) berbasis budaya Minangkabau terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, (2) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think pair share) berbasis budaya Minangkabau dan kemampuan awal matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Kata kunci: TPS (Think pair share), kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, KAM(Kemampuan Awal Siswa). ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to: (1) analyze the influence of Minangkabau culture based TPS (Think pair share) cooperative learning models on students' problem solving abilities, (2) analyze the interactions between TPS (Think pair share) type cooperative learning modelsMinangkabau culture and the initial mathematical ability of students' mathematical problem solving abilities. the instrument used is a problem solving ability test. Data analysis was performed by two-way analysis of variance (ANAVA). The results of the research show: (1) there is an influence of the Minangkabau culture type TPS (Think pair share) cooperative learning model on students' problem solving abilities, (2) there is an interaction between the TPS (Think pair share) type cooperative learning model based on the Minangkabau culture and the initial mathematical ability of students' problem solving abilities.
