Abstract

Pregnant women are one of the groups prone to nutrition, often experiencing iron deficiency anemia. The prevalence of anemia in 2018 has increased compared to 2017, which was 2.11% to 9.22%. The government has implemented an anemia prevention program for pregnant women by giving iron tablets (TTD). Pregnant women in the third trimester must consume as many as 90 tablets of TTD. TTD consumption for pregnant women is strongly influenced by their knowledge, the allocation of TTD distribution by puskesmas, and family / husband support. The purpose of this study was to assess knowledge, obtained TTD rations, family / husband support, and assess adherence to consuming TTD in the work area of Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan. The type of research used was Observational with a Cross Sectional approach with 48 samples. The results of the study showed that more than half (64.58%) had good knowledge, all mothers received TTD but there were still obedient candidates taking TTD, namely 20.83% and obedient, namely 79.17%. Most (66.67%) families / husbands have supported mothers to consume TTD. The better the knowledge about TTD the more obedient the consumption. As well as the better support provided, the mother will be motivated to obey consuming TTD. It can be concluded that most (64.58%) have good knowledge, all pregnant women receive TTD, as much as 66.67% of families / husbands support to consume TTD, and more than half (79.17%) obey consuming TTD.

Abstract

Increased cholesterol levels in the blood is one of the risks of central obesity which can be caused by genetic factors, diet, and physical activity. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in total cholesterol levels based on the incidence of central obesity and consumption patterns of vegetables in Guwang Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. This type of research was observational with a crossectional design in 63 samples of men and women aged 21–60 years determined based on inclusion criteria and their proportional random sampling. The test data used was independent t-test. The results of the analysis showed (p0.05) there were differences in total cholesterol levels based on central obesity events, there were differences in total cholesterol levels based on vegetable consumption type (p0.05), there were differences in total cholesterol levels based on fruit consumption type (p0.05), there were no differences in total cholesterol levels based on the amount of vegetable and fruit consumption (p0.05), there were no differences in total cholesterol levels based on the frequency of vegetable consumption (p0.05), there were differences in total cholesterol levels based on frequency of consumption fruit (p0.05).Keywords: total cholesterol levels, central obesity, comsumption pattern of vegetables and fruit

Abstract

Based on Basic Health Research (2010), there are 35.000 school-age children, around 26,1% have breakfast just with mineral water and 44,6% get energy income less than 26,1% of nutritional needs in a day. The purpose of this research is to know the relation between breakfast with nutrition status and learning results of students in Primary School No. 5 Tonja North Denpasar. The type of the research is observational research with a crossectional design, with a total sample are 63 people. breakfast consumption data was collected using recall methods, and Nutrition status data based on indicators (IMT/U) was collected using the recording method of learning results from each student. Data processed by statistic analysis Korelasi Pearson. The result of the research shows that the average breakfast type is 2 types, for example, bread and milk. The type of breakfast that is mostly consumed are 2 types with the minus category that 28 samples (44,4%), energy consumption level 28 samples (44,4%) normal category, and protein consumption level 30 sample (47,6%) normal category. Normal nutritional status 45 samples (71.4%), lean 1 sample (1.6%), grease 7 samples (11.1%), obesity 10 samples (15.9%). The average learning result is enough for category 51 samples (81,0%). There is no relationship between breakfast with nutritional status and learning outcomes (p 0.05).Keywords: Breakfast, Energy and Protein Consumption, Nutritional Status, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Menarche is the first menstruation that occurs in women. According to Riskesdas, the prevalence of menarche 12 years is 5.2%. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation trend between frequency of junk food consumption with nutritional status, nutritional status with menarche age and frequency of junk food consumption with menarche age. This type of research is an observational study with cross-sectional design. The sampling technique of this research is by proportional simple random sampling method. The sample of this study amounted to 76. Frequency of consumption was collected with FFQ media, nutritional status calculated by z-Score and age of menarche collected by questionnaire. The results were analyzed by univariate and bivariate tables. Result of frequency analysis of junk food consumption with nutritional status get result that there is tendency of correlation between frequency of consumption of junk food with nutritional status. The result of nutritional status analysis with age of menarche has resulted that there is no correlation between nutritional status with age of menarche. The result of frequency analysis of junk food consumption with age of menarche get result that there is tendency of correlation between frequency of consumption of junk food with age of menarche .As a conclusion from this research that there is tendency of correlation between frequency of consumption of junk food with nutritional status and between frequency of consumption of junk food with age menarche but there is no trend of nutritional status correlation with age of menarche.Keywords:  junk food, nutritional status, menarche, a female student
