Abstract

The number of inmates in the detention center has increased, resulting in increased levels of stress on inmates namely mild stress levels (11.1%) and moderate stress (33.3%) in 2015. All the pressure that occurs on prisoners in prison will result in mental and physical illness and prolonged stress will result in mental disorders such as depression, anxiety and even psychotic disorders. Stress management is used to overcome and reduce stress levels. Progressive muscle therapy is a therapeutic that is superior to other therapies because it is the cheapest and it's easy to do independently and shows the importance of restraining stress responses by trying to relieve conscious muscle tension. The design of this study used a pre - experimental design with a design of one group pre test - post test design. The population in this study were criminals in the Prison of Class II B Kudus. The sampling technique uses total sampling so that the sample size is 13 respondents. Data was collected using observation of stress levels and then analyzed using paired T test. The result of the paired T test showed that there was a significant effect between progressive muscle relaxation therapy on the reduction of stress levels in criminals in the Prison Class II B Kudus with a p-value of o,oo1 (p<0.05). There is the Effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy on Drecreasing Stress Levels of criminal in Prison Class II B Kudus.

Abstract

Background:The furniture industry is one of the trade sectors that continues to experience an increase. Industry requires craftsmen to improve the quality of their work in producing goods. This resulted in an increasingly heavy workload of craftsmen, especially the production of this condition, triggering work stress. In Jepara there were 4255 cases of work stress in 2019. Apart from that, during interviews with several craftsmen, information was obtained that in a day the number of products produced was adjusted to the number of orders received. If enough orders are received, the craftsmen have to work overtime for 2 hours after the work time to meet expected targets. Therefore, there is an increase in workload, thereby increasing the stress level of workers Methods and Purpose of Research: Using quantitative descriptive methods. This research was conducted on April 14 – 16, 2020 using a total sampling methods of 40 respondents. The data used is primary data with a single variable, namely the level of stress. Data analysis using descriptive statistical tests. It aims to find out the level of stress of the craftsmen in the production section of Sony Sentral Industry Jepara Regency in 2020.Results:The results showed that of the 40 most respondents the most stress level respondents were at moderate stress levels with 13 respondents (32.5%) and the lowest at mild stress levels of 5 respondents (12.5%).

Abstract

Stroke is a major health problem for modern society today. According to WHO (World Health Organization) in 2016, 51% of stroke deaths worldwide were caused by high blood pressure. Based on data on the top 10 most common diseases in Indonesia in 2018, the prevalence of stroke cases in Indonesia based on health worker diagnosis was 10.9 per mille. Various problems that stroke patients may experience include paralysis, weakness, balance disorders, speech disorders, etc. so that these patients need help in meeting their daily needs. The family as a caregiver has a major role in providing primary support to individuals with stroke and is the first person to respond to changes in the patient's status during the course of the disease. The aim of this community service program is to maximize family assistance as caregivers in caring for stroke patients. The obstacles experienced by caregivers are financial and time problems in accompanying stroke families at Mardi Rahayu Kudus Hospital. Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted, almost all the feelings of families as caregivers in caring for stroke patients are sad, almost all participants answered that the service at Mardi Rahayu Hospital is good and fast, almost all participants' hopes for their husbands are that they can recover quickly, almost all The obstacles experienced by caregivers are financial and time problems. Therefore, assistance and providing motivation to families as caregivers for stroke patients is very important.
