Abstract

This paper aims to find out the strengthening, protection, support and maintenance of the economic community carried out by joint business groups and the results of community economic empowerment through joint business groups. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative data types. Research subjects are managers, members, and families of members of a joint venture group. Data collection uses observation, interview, and document study techniques. Data analysis in this study is interpretation or interpretation of logic by means of reducing data, presenting data, verifying and drawing conclusions that are related to the context of the development of Islamic society. The results of the research analysis showed that the strengthening, protection, support, and maintenance carried out by the joint venture group succeeded in empowering the community's economy by achieving an improved community economy, more active social activities, and a more creative and independent community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the background was about PKH, how to implement PKH, and how the results of the existence of PKH on improving family welfare. This research method uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that PKH appeared ini Ranjeng Village since 2014. The program aims to help the poor in terms of their economy, education and health. The implementation of its activities aims to improve the family’s economy so that all kinds of things they need can be fulfilled. The results of this PKH on improving the family’s economy can be said to be very helpful for every family that is less able, but because the program in Ranjeng Village does not yet exist such as training so that the community can develop the existing potential so the impact of the existence of this program the community becomes more dependent.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the situation in the field related to the implementation, constraints and the results of empowerment of the patchwork handicraft industry in improving the economy of the community in Sukamulya Village. How is the implementation,constraints and empowerment of the patchwork industry in improving the community's economy. Th e method used in this study is a qualitative method by describing the situation in the field related to the implementation, constraints, and results of empowerment that have been made by the patchwork industry in improving the economy of the community. The results in this study are the implementation of the patchwork industry in improving the economy of the community carried out in the form of training programs. The obstacles faced by the patchwork industry in the empowerment process are internal and external factors. The results achieved in the empowerment of the patchwork handicraft industry are labor absorption, increased income, increased education, the community becomes more independent, and the economy of the Sukamulya Village community increases.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Floating Market Lembang program and the impact on the economic welfare of the community. This research is a qualitative research that used descriptive method. This method is used to describe, analyze, and express the phenomenon that occur in the field. The results of this study showed that Floating Market Lembang did not have a special program to improve the economic welfare of surrounding community, but rather to provide the opportunities such as employment opportunities, entrepreneurial opportunities and PAD income from Lembang Village. Moreover, Floating Market Lembang gave the positive and negative impact to the economic welfare of the community. Positive impact is increasing the opportunities of employment, community income, and developing better infrastructure. In contrast, negative impact is the traffic jam and air pollution occured. In conclusion, Floating Market Lembang has an impact on the economic welfare of the people of Lembang Village.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the process, implementation and results of community empowerment through the disabled creative center (DCC) program which is specifically for people with disabilities in the city of Bandung and is managed by DT – Peduli. The research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the DCC program took the form of sewing skills training, screen printing training, clothing production, and marketing of products. With the implementation, this meeting is carried out on a scheduled and neatly packaged basis which is inserted with a program of guidance on physical and spiritual motivation in the form of mini seminars, workshops or thematic training guided by successful experts and practitioners and Second, the Disability Workshop is a space to facilitate the potential possessed by the participants or DCC alumni so they can display their superior products or expertise profiles offline and online. As for the results of the DCC program, people with disabilities in the city of Bandung are able to improve their standard of living and are more empowered after participating in the disabled creative center (DCC) program.
