Abstract

Program pertukaran pemuda menjadi salah satu program regular yang diselenggarakan oleh beberapa negara maju dan berkembang seperti Amerika, Kanada, Korea, Jepang, New Zealand, maupun organisasi yang beranggotakan berbagai negara seperti ASEAN. Program di bidang pendidikan dan budaya ini dijalin dengan tujuan untuk mempererat ikatan persahabatan dan menciptakan mutual understanding antar negara melalui para generasi muda.Saat para remaja ini terpilih dalam program pertukaran pelajar internasional, keterampilan komunikasi antar budaya merupakan satu hal yang penting untuk mereka miliki. Interaksi mereka tidak hanya terbatas pada satu atau dua budaya saja, namun budaya yang lebih heterogen sehingga banyak hal-hal yang mungkin tidak mereka prediksi sebelumnya.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterampilan komunikasi antar budaya para peserta program pertukaran pemuda dalam ruang lingkup internasional. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi masyarakat pada umumnya di era Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN, khususnya dalam keterampilan berkomunikasi di kehidupan sosial dan budaya sehari-hari.Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam pada dua informan yang ditunjang dengan studi dokumen.Hasil penelitian ini merupakan cerminan realita kehidupan antar budaya yang seringkali kita temui. Ada banyak kendala yang ditemui dalam berkomunikasi antar budaya seperti perbedaan bahasa yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing pelaku komunikasi, cara pandang, kebiasaan, serta penggunaan komunikasi non verbal. Disamping itu, penelitian ini pun melihat pada konteks yang lebih luas di mana ketika para remaja tersebut bukan berada di negara asalnya, mereka mengalami culture shock, tantangan untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan yang relatif baru dan masih asing, dengan misi yang diemban oleh para peserta tersebut dalam program pertukaran pemuda yang diikutinya.

Abstract

Fire Insurance protects against the danger of property loss or damage. Parties with an interest in the insured object accept the risk of loss. Indemnity (or the principle of loss) plays a role in ensuring equitable compensation. Subrogation will apply against the insured to ensure that the insurance policy runs properly and without loss between the insurer and the insured. The goal of this study is to discuss and explain the Indemnity Principles and Insurable Interest in relation with Fire Insurance. The descriptive qualitative method was employed in the research. Primary and secondary sources of data were gathered. Data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The study's findings show that PT. Tokio Marine merely recovers the insured's financial condition to its pre-incident state. PT. Tokio Marine will not face risk adjustments as a result of an occurrence because the company only accepts risks that are uncertain and occur suddenly. Subrogation does not occur when the insurer pays the insured a balanced loss (indemnity principle). However, if the insurance covers only a portion of the loss, the subrogation principle applies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk melakukan pengujian dan menganalisa pengaruh dari gaya kepemimpinan, loyalitas serta motivasi dan dampak pada kinerja di perusahaan. Dengan memiliki gaya kepemimpinan yang baik, perusahaan bisa membuat karyawan terinspirasi sehingga mereka dapat terdelegasi mengerjakan tugas secara efektif serta mampu maju, berkembang secara bersama-sama, memberikan feedback terhadap prosedur perusahaan. Loyalitas adalah dedikasi, kepercayaan, dan komitmen yang ditunjukkan oleh karyawan kepada perusahaan yang bertanggung jawab atas pekerjaannya. Karena kurangnya loyalitas di antara para pekerja, mereka tidak bertanggung jawab untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas perusahaan. Motivasi adalah kemampuan untuk menggerakkan individu atau kelompok untuk bertindak guna mencapai tujuan. Untuk memastikan bahwa para pekerja terlibat dan merasa nyaman di tempat kerja, organisasi harus mempertimbangkan kualitasnya saat melakukan tugas-tugasnya. Delapan puluh responden menjadi sampel dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini. Sampling jenuh digunakan dalam pengolahan data regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa motivasi, loyalitas, dan gaya kepemimpinan secara signifikan dan positif mempengaruhi kinerja. Kinerja dipengaruhi secara simultan oleh motivasi, loyalitas, dan gaya kepemimpinan.

Abstract

Background: The literature on the complication rates of central venous catheters (CVCs) reveals a complex interplay of risks associated with their use, particularly in vulnerable patient populations such as those with cancer or undergoing hemodialysis. The foundational work by (Schumacher & H. Wagner, 2007) established the significance of implanted central venous port catheter systems, pointing out the persistent challenges of catheter-associated thrombosis and infections. This early recognition of complications set the stage for subsequent studies that have consistently reported high complication rates, ranging from 10-25% among cancer patients as highlighted by (Marin et al., 2021). Literature Review: The complications associated with CVCs extend beyond mere infection and thrombosis; they encompass a range of insertion-related issues including arrhythmias and arterial punctures, as discussed by (Hodzic et al., 2014). Innovation in catheter design has been explored as a potential solution to mitigate infection rates. The review by (Casimero et al., 2020) stresses the importance of selecting the appropriate catheter type based on patient-specific factors, thereby minimizing complications. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on CVC complications was notably addressed by (Tanveer Ud Din et al., 2021), which illustrated how procedural lapses during high-pressure situations can exacerbate the risks associated with CVC placement. Conclusion: In conclusion, the literature collectively underscores the multifaceted complications associated with CVCs and emphasizes the need for ongoing research and innovation to improve patient outcomes. The findings highlight the importance of tailored management strategies, adherence to procedural protocols, and the continuous development of catheter technology to mitigate risks associated with CVC use.

Abstract

Background: Childreni withi speciali needsi (ABK)i arei individualsi withi uniquei characteristicsi thati differi fromi typicali children,i exhibitingi mental,i emotional,i ori physicali developmenti thati isi noti ini linei withi theiri chronologicali age.i ABKi ofteni facei learningi difficulties,i particularlyi ini reading.i Objectives:i Toi determinei thei effecti ofi thei Four-Quadranti Modeli ofi Facilitatedi Learningi (4QM)i interventioni oni thei readingi developmenti ofi childreni withi speciali needs.i Thei interventioni involvedi ai readingi developmenti programi conductedi ati thei Callingi Stari Childi Developmenti Centeri ini Balikpapan,i Easti Kalimantan,i overi twoi months.i Methods:i Thisi studyi employedi ai pre-experimentali designi withi ai one-groupi pretest-posttesti approach.i Thei populationi comprised children with special needs diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, ADD, and dyslexia, aged 7–10 years, enrolled at the Calling Star Child Development Center in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. A total sampling technique was used, involving 10 children with special needs (9 boys and 1 girl). Data analysis was conducted using a parametric statistical method, specifically the Paired T-Test, through SPSS version 25.0. Results: The study revealed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with a mean pretest-posttest score difference of 12.7, indicating a statistically significant improvement in reading skills before and after the 4QM intervention. Among the diagnoses, children with ASD exhibited the greatest improvement in reading skills following the 4QM intervention, compared to those with ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia. Conclusion: The implementation of the Four-Quadranti Modeli ofi Facilitatedi Learningi (4QM)i significantlyi influencesi thei readingi developmenti ofi childreni withi special needs. Abstract

AbstrakDalam beberapa tahun terakhir, perkembangan bisnis industri kedai kopi cukup baik. Hal ini mendorong banyak pengusaha untuk memulai atau membuat bisnis baru atau memperluas yang sudah ada, sementara persaingan antar kedai kopi sangat ketat. Dalam laporan ini kami menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan di Rubeka. Penulis menggunakan beberapa variabel dalam pengujian ini, variabel independen yakni Service Quality, Product Quality, Physical Environment dan Trust, variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah Customer Satisfaction. Teknik yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah dengan cara membagikan kuesioner dan terkumpul sebanyak 214 responden. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini akan berada diperoleh dalam 1 wilayah. Peneliti akan membagi kuesioner kepada masyarakat yang berdomisili di kota Batam yang pernah mengunjungi atau yang pernah mencoba produk dari cafe Rubeka yang berada di kota Batam. Penelitian ini menguji menggunakan alat analisis SPSS Statistics 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa product quality, service quality dan physical environment memiliki hubungan positif signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction. Sedangkan trust tidak signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction.Kata Kunci : Service Quality, Product Quality, Coffee ShopAbstractIn recent years, the business development of the coffee shop industry has been quite good. This encourages many entrepreneurs to start or create new businesses or expand existing ones, while competition between coffee shops is fierce. In this report we investigate the factors that influence customer satisfaction at Rubeka. The author uses several variables in this test, the independent variables are Service Quality, Product Quality, Physical Environment and Trust, the dependent variable used is Customer Satisfaction. The technique used for this research is by distributing questionnaires and collecting as many as 214 respondents. Data collection in this study will be obtained in 1 area. Researchers will distribute questionnaires to people who live in Batam city who have visited or who have tried products from Rubeka cafe in Batam city. This study was tested using the SPSS Statistics 26 analysis tool. The results showed that product quality, service quality and physical environment had a significant positive relationship to customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, trust is not significant to customer satisfaction.Keywords :  Service Quality, Product Quality, Coffee Shop

Abstract

Currently, mobile applications is increasingly trending because they are easier to market so they are known to the public quicker. To create a mobile application that suits the needs, an appropriate development approach is needed. The research was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method on 23 mobile-based information system development papers. Systematic Literature Review method is carried out in several stages, namely planning, conducting, and reporting. The things studied are the approach used, development methods used, programming languages, databases, and the fields studied by each paper. Each paper must meet the Quality Assessment to answer the Research Question. With this, it will be known what approaches, development methods, programming languages and databases are most widely used by researchers in 2022-2024. From the review results, cross-platform was the most widely used approach during 2022-2024, so this can be used as a reference for other researchers to develop mobile applications.
