Abstract

Ring of integers under the addition and multiplication as integral domain can be imbedded to the field of rational numbers. In this paper we make a construction such that any integral domain can be a field of quotient. The construction contains three steps. First, we define element of field F from elements of integral domain D. Secondly, we show that the binary operations in fare well-defined. Finally, we prove that f : D ® F is an isomorphisma. Abstract

Telegraph is a machine for sending and receiving messages remotely. Telegraph according to Zauderer can be modeled or expressed in mathematical language, namely the telegraph equation. Kirchoff I's Law deals with currents and Kirchoff II's Law is the basis for analyzing all electrical circuits. The purpose of this research is to apply Kirchoff's Law to obtain the telegraphic equation. The stages in research include: determining the equivalent circuits, making assumptions, applying Kirchoff's Laws I and II to the equivalent circuits, and forming telegraphic equations. Abstract

The linear transformation is a function relating the vector ke . If , then the transformation is called a linear operator. Several examples of linear operators have been introduced since SMA such as reflexive, rotation, compression and expansion and shear. Apart from being introduced in SMA, these linear operators were also introduced to the linear algebra course. Linear transformations studied at the university level include linear transformation in finite dimension vector spaces . The discussion includes how to determine the standard matrix for reflexive linear transformations, rotation, compression and expansion and given shear. Through the column vectors of reflexive, rotation, compression and expansion and shear, a standard matrix of 2x2 size is formed for the corresponding linear transformation. however, in this study, the authors studied linear transformations in dimensioned vector spaces . The results of this study are if known is a vector space with finite and the standard matrix for reflexivity, rotation, expansion, compression and shear is obtained. Each of these linear transformations is performed on x-axis, y-axis and z-axis on to get column vectors. The column vectors as a result of the linear transformation at form the standard matrix for the corresponding linear transformation in the vector space. The standard matrix for linear transformations in the vector space is obtained by determining reflexivity, rotation, expansion, compression and shear. The process of obtaining a standard matrix for linear transformation is carried out by rewriting the standard basis, determining the column vectors, and rearranging them as the standard matrix for each linear transformation in the vector space

Abstract

Arfak Mountains Regency is an expansion area of Manokwari Regency which was formed based on the law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2012 concerning the expansion of Arfak Mountain Regency in West Papua Province. The population growth of the Arfak Mountains Regency which has increased after the expansion can cause social problem in the area. social problems arising from the increase in population can be anticipated by using population growth projection. The purpose of this paper is to determine the logistic model and project population growth in the Arfak Mountains Regency. Abstract

These waves occur when the surface of the water is disturbed by wind, gravity, earthquakes, or landslides on the seabed. Shallow water waves can be modelled or expressed in mathematical language, namely the shallow water wave equation which is a partial differential equation. The shallow water wave equation is a partial differential equation that describes the fluid flow problem. A system is considered shallow water if the depth of the fluid is much less than its wavelength. Shallow water waves are a phenomenon of classical mechanics which can be described by three simple laws called Newton’s laws of motion. The stages in the research include identifying problems, making assumptions, and forming shallow water wave equations using Newton’s Second Law and the law of conservation of mass. The form of the two-dimensional shallow water wave equation is u_t+〖uu〗_x=-gh_x (x,t). and h_t=-[u(D+h)]_x.

Abstract

SMA Taruna Kasuari Nusantara Manokwari merupakan sekolah yang tergolong baru dan memiliki semangat tinggi dalam mendorong siswanya untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang lebih tinggi, termasuk ke sekolah kedinasan. Namun, masih terdapat kendala dalam kesiapan siswa menghadapi ujian berbasis Computer Assisted Test (CAT) yang menjadi metode seleksi utama dalam penerimaan sekolah kedinasan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan siswa melalui pelatihan akademik berbasis CAT guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir, pemahaman, dan penalaran dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal seleksi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyusunan soal simulasi CAT, pelatihan penggunaan sistem CAT, serta evaluasi hasil tes. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap format dan strategi mengerjakan soal berbasis CAT, serta meningkatnya motivasi siswa untuk mengikuti seleksi sekolah kedinasan. Kegiatan ini disambut baik oleh pihak sekolah dan siswa, serta direkomendasikan untuk dijadikan program rutin sebagai bagian dari pembinaan prestasi akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan kreatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi, membaca, dan menulis anak di Pondok Baca Senja Papua Cerdas, Manokwari. Sasaran kegiatan adalah anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dan prasekolah yang aktif mengikuti kegiatan belajar di pondok baca tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kreatif melalui aktivitas bermain sambil belajar, media visual interaktif, serta kegiatan membaca dan menulis bersama yang menyenangkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, catatan kegiatan, dan dokumentasi aktivitas belajar. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan numerasi, membaca, dan menulis anak serta antusiasme yang lebih tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kreatif efektif mendukung perkembangan numerasi dan literasi anak secara simultan.

Abstract

Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam seleksi masuk sekolah kedinasan yang bertujuan mengukur kemampuan berpikir logis, numerik, dan verbal siswa secara menyeluruh. Namun, kenyataannya masih banyak siswa yang belum familiar dengan bentuk soal TPA, strategi penyelesaiannya, serta belum terbiasa menghadapi ujian berbasis digital atau Computer Assisted Test (CAT). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk membantu siswa SMA Taruna Kasuari Nusantara Manokwari dalam meningkatkan kesiapan akademik mereka menghadapi seleksi sekolah kedinasan melalui pelatihan dan evaluasi TPA berbasis CAT. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu penyusunan soal TPA berdasarkan kisi-kisi resmi, pemberian materi pengantar melalui pelatihan singkat, pelaksanaan post test menggunakan sistem CAT, dan analisis terhadap hasil yang diperoleh peserta. Data yang digunakan merupakan hasil post test sebagai representasi capaian akhir siswa setelah pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan mampu menyelesaikan soal dalam waktu yang ditentukan, meskipun masih ditemukan kesulitan dalam menjawab soal-soal logika numerik dan analogi verbal. Selain itu, pelaksanaan CAT memberikan pengalaman teknis yang berguna serta meningkatkan efisiensi dan objektivitas proses evaluasi. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa simulasi dan evaluasi TPA berbasis CAT dapat menjadi strategi yang tepat dan efektif dalam membantu siswa mempersiapkan diri mengikuti seleksi masuk sekolah kedinasan secara lebih optimal dan terstruktur.

Abstract

The CPI is useful for knowing the increase in income, prices, can also be used as an economic indicator and a benchmark for the amount of production costs. The Consumer Price Index is often used to measure the level of increase or decrease (inflation/deflation) in the prices of goods and services that are the basic needs of the people of an area, as well as a consideration for salary adjustments, retirement wages and others. CPI forecasting in Sorong City is a solution to predict future economic conditions as seen from the increase or decrease in the CPI and choose the right countermeasure or strategy in dealing with the consequences of an increase (inflation) or decrease (deflation) in the CPI that will occur in the future. The Covid-19 Pandemic situation has greatly affected economic and social life, including the CPI in Sorong City. The purpose of this research is to obtain the right model in forecasting the CPI in Sorong City using the Double Exponential Smoothing Brown method, a forecasting method that uses one weighting parameter. The best model of forecasting before the Covid-19 pandemic using optimal weighting parameters with a MAPE value of 0.647%, namely: and the best model during the Covid-19 pandemic using optimal weighting parameters with a MAPE value of 0.633%. Abstract

This study examines the interaction between prey and predator populations by incorporating a multiplicative Allee effect on the prey and disease infection in the predator. The mathematical model is constructed using a system of differential equations that integrates logistic prey growth, Holling type II functional response, and compartmental dynamics of healthy and infected predators. The analysis was carried out through nondimensionalization, linearization, and equilibrium point determination using the Jacobian matrix to investigate the local stability of the system. The results indicate that the system possesses several equilibrium points representing population extinction, prey-only existence, and coexistence of prey with either healthy or infected predators. The stability of these equilibria is strongly influenced by parameters such as the prey intrinsic growth rate, the Allee threshold, and the disease transmission rate. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the Allee effect can drive the prey population to extinction when its size falls below a critical threshold, while the disease in predators reduces the growth of healthy predators and thus contributes to the persistence of the prey population. This research enriches the field of mathematical ecology by providing new insights into the role of Allee effects and epidemiology in predator-prey dynamics.
