Abstract

“Tuk” is another name for spring water which is the emergence of groundwater to the ground surface and can also be through seepage in rocks. The use of this spring is very diverse, including as drinking water needs, agricultural irrigation and daily needs. The management of the area around the spring has a significant impact on the discharge and quality of the water produced, such as the influence of the amount of vegetation which is one of the main factors affecting the size of the water discharge produced. The results showed that environmental conditions, community knowledge and local culture will greatly affect the management of springs which in this case there must be participation in the role of technology so that optimal benefits and continuity of function of springs are obtained. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition and utilization of Tuk Jirak water environmental services as the main water source for the community in Glondong Duwur Village and Blumbang Village and their influence during the dry season.

Abstract

Puspa is one type of plant planted in the conservation area of Mount Merbabu National Park and is quite dominant. In 2021, puspa planting was carried out (Schima wallichii DC. Korth) as many as 2,915 sticks with distribution throughout the conservation area of 14.94 Ha which is precisely located in Sremben Village. Data collection was carried out by a semi-random survey method (purposive random sampling), namely by observation along the location of the PE plant manufacturing area in Wonolelo Resort, Mount Merbabu National Park from the lowest altitude point of Puspa plant planting (Schima wallichii DC. Korth) to the highest altitude point of planting Puspa plants (Schima wallichii DC. Korth). The purpose of this study was to determine the phenology of Puspa plants (Schima wallichii DC. Korth) in the PE plant manufacturing area at Wonolelo Resort, Mount Merbabu National Park at every height.

Abstract

Agroforestry or intercropping is a land use and management system by combining forest plants with agricultural crops or livestock with the aim of obtaining optimal and efficient results. Sremben Hamlet is one of the hamlets in Wulunggunung Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency which utilizes land as agricultural land. This study aims to determine the agroforestry system in agriculture and its contribution to the household income of the Sremben hamlet community. The method used in this study is the observation method in the Sremben Hamlet area regarding the land that uses the agroforestry system and the types of plants on that land. Land measurement is carried out to calculate the average area of land used. As for the total income data of farmers from agroforestry land, it was collected through interviews using the snow balling method. The results showed that there were 5 agricultural lands using the agroforestry system (intercropping) in Sremben Hamlet, Wulunggunung Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency. The agroforestry system contributes to the income of farmer households on only planted seasonal crops. For annual plant species, it is utilized from an ecological perspective and as a potential for future savings for personal needs. As for the grass that is deliberately planted on the land is used as animal feed that they have.

Abstract

The terminal is one of the public facilities in the field of transportation whose existence is not only beneficial for the community. Terminals can have a serious impact on the environment, one of which is noise. . Noise is a sound that is produced from an activity but is unwanted and can disturb humans. Tirtonadi Terminal is a type A bus terminal located in Surakarta City. The terminal waiting room is a gathering place for many people such as traders, passengers, bus officers and terminal officers. The purpose of this study was to obtain results that were relevant to those in the field and to identify efforts that could be used to reduce or prevent noise propagation from reaching residential areas. . This research data was taken by direct measurement technique and literature study. The data obtained are in the form of noise level data at each sample point, noise quality standards at the terminal, and data related to noise measurements. The noise level data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using the Leq calculation formula. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the noise level value in the two waiting room areas at Tirtonadi Terminal was around 54.2 dBA. The noise value indicates that the noise level in the waiting room area of Tirtonadi Terminal does not exceed the noise level quality standard based on the Decree of the Minister of the Environment Number 48/MENLH/11/1996. Efforts that can be made to prevent noise include reducing the volume of sound produced, regulating vehicle operating times, limiting the number of bus operations, and using natural and artificial barriers.
