Abstract

Artikel ini membahas deskripsi pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Stimulus (PKMS) Tahun 2022 yang didanai oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Kebudayaan Riset Teknologi. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangani belum diterapkannya model pembelajaran yang menghubungkan alqur’an dengan mata pelajaran lainnya. Permasalahan pritoritas mitra yaitu guru belum mengetahui konseptual model DBUS. Selain itu, guru belum mengetahui perencanaa, pelaksanaan, dan penyusunan sumber serta instrument evaluasi. Solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu memberikan pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran model DBUS berpendekatan Alqur’an VS Sains untuk guru MI DU Bumiayu. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKMS ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, workshop, peerteaching, dan penugasan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan yaitu Juli-November 2022. Luaran kegiatan ini yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan guru MI dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran sebsesar 80%, melaksanakan pembelajaran sebesar 70% dan menyusun sumber belajar serta instrument evaluasi sebesar 70%. Selain itu, luaran kegiatan PKMS ini berupa publikasi media massa berupa koran suara merdeka, video pelaksanaan, dan artikel.

Abstract

The primary issue identified in this study pertained to the suboptimal enhancement of several proficiencies, including creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities, among aspiring educators. The primary objective of this research was to provide a comprehensive description and analysis of the efficacy of ethnoscience learning in enhancing the cognitive abilities of aspiring educators, specifically in the domains of creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The research design encompassed three distinct steps, specifically: 1) the collection of qualitative data, 2) the implementation of treatments, and 3) the undertaking of post-intervention qualitative investigations. A total of 120 preservice teachers in their third semester of elementary school were chosen as the sample for this study. The data was obtained by means of surveys, observations, interviews, essay examinations designed to assess creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, and observation sheets used to evaluate communication skills. The quantitative data were subjected to statistical analysis using an independent t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The utilisation of ethnoscience learning has demonstrated its efficacy in enhancing cognitive abilities such as creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Abstract

In the 21st-century, we need a generation who can read and face the challenges of the times. The research aimed to master patterns of science with the next generation science standards (NGSS) standards of junior high school students in north coastal areas of Java Island. The research method is quantitative expose-facto and subjects were 228 students determined by purposive sampling. The students who come from Tegal, Pekalongan, Pati and Demak Regencies north coastal Java Island, Indonesia. The results showed a significant difference between the achievement of students in Tegal, Pekalongan, Pati, and Demak Regencies (p=0.012; ∝=0.05). Based on the analysis of variance (ANOVA) test, there was a significant difference between the groups of students’ achievements in mastery of science oriented NGSS. It can be concluded that the achievement among students from four different regions is quite significant. Students from families with middle and upper economic levels have low achievement but students with low economic levels have high academic achievement.

Abstract

Indonesian education is experiencing an ethical crisis in all education lines. This study aims to identify learning patterns and the development of students' religious characters and determine the relationship between the two. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research sample was class VIII students of SMP Takhasus Al-Qur'an and SMP Al-Madina Wonosobo. Data collection used questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data were analyzed using a correlation coefficient test to determine the relationship between the two variables. The study results showed that: 1) The learning patterns of both schools were the same, using differentiated learning, with individual, group, and guided learning patterns. 2) The religious character of SMP Takhasus Al-Qur'an students was 69%, in the low category. The religious character of SMP Al-Madina students was 82%, in the high category. 3) Both schools have a positive relationship between learning patterns and students' religious character. SMP Takhasus Al-Qur'an, by 0.159 or 15%. SMP Al-Madina, by 0.199 or 19%. This research has a good impact on creating learning patterns that can improve students' religious character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Learning Community on the Independent Teaching Platform LMS in improving teacher basic competencies and its impact on teacher performance and student learning outcomes. The study used mixed methods with a sequential exploratory model. The qualitative phase was conducted through interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), observation, and documentation, while the quantitative phase used questionnaires for 55 elementary, junior high, and high school teachers in Wonosobo Regency. Qualitative data analysis was assisted by NVivo 12 software, and quantitative data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the Learning Community improved teachers' pedagogical competency with an average score of 3.0 (good category), professional competency of 3.27 (good), personality competency of 3.23 (good), and social competency of 2.77 (fairly good). As many as 67% of teachers participate in Learning Communities due to mandatory requirements and performance assessments, which has shifted the function of learning communities. Learning Communities should serve as a forum for collaboration, reflection, sharing of best practices, and strengthening technological literacy, all of which positively impact teacher professionalism, teaching quality, and student learning outcomes. However, extrinsic motivations are more predominant, focusing more on administrative fulfillment than professional development. The results of this study provide encouragement for learning communities to provide more internal motivation in teacher professional development

Abstract

Volume sampah yang dihasilkan masyarakat Desa Kutamendala mencapai 1,5 Ton/hari yang berasal dari sampah pemukiman, pasar, dan industri. Meskipun sudah memiliki Tempat Pembuangan Sampah dengan konsep reduce, reuse, dan recycle (TPS3R) namun terdapat kendala akses teknologi untuk pengolahan sampah, sementara kesadaran masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan sampah juga masih kurang; kelompok Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) selaku produsen sampah terbesar masih membakar sampah atau membayar ke tenaga pengepul sampah. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi warga masyarakat (PKK) untuk memilah sampah dan menyetorkan ke TPS3R, (2) mengintroduksikan teknologi mesin pengolah sampah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas TPS3R, serta (3) keberlanjutan kemitraan TPS3R-PKK dan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah di Desa Kutamendala. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tahap (1) persiapan, (2) edukasi pengelolaan sampah kepada anggota PKK, (3) Penguatan kapasitas pengurus TPS3R; (4) Introduksi mesin pengolahan sampah; (4) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) penguatan kemitraan; serta (6) Pengembangan jejaring produsen sampah dan pemasar sampah. Berdasarkan program yang telah terlaksana diperoleh hasil: (1) rekayasa sosial melalui penyadaran mitra PKK untuk memanfaatkan sampah sudah terlaksana dengan baik, peningkatan terjadi dari pengetahuan kepada praktek pemanfaatan sampah, (2) telah dintroduksikan 6 mesin yang telah diperasikan untuk mengolah sampah, serta (3) kemitraan PKK (54 RT dan 10 RW) dan TPS3R yang berkelanjutan dalam memanfaatkan sampah.

Abstract

Research focuses on student learning activities. In the current technological era, students' scientific and technological literacy skills are needed. Implementation of activities is given in different ways to students to improve the quality of learning in class. The differentiation process carried out includes the processes of observing, doing, and reflecting. The research method uses qualitative analysis methods. The research subjects are education students, especially elementary school teacher education study programs. The research was conducted for 1 semester. Research success includes four indicators, namely: material modification, use of technology, assignments and projects, and continuous feedback. The results obtained were (1) material modification (85 percent in the outstanding category), (2) use of technology (92 percent in the outstanding category), (3) assignments and projects (89 percent in the outstanding category), and continuous feedback (83 percent good category). The results reach the perfect categories as a determinant of research success. Penelitian memfokuskan kegiatan belajar mahasiswa. Kemampuan literasi Saintek mahasiswa diperlukan pada era teknologi saat ini. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan berbeda sehingga mendapatkan hasil pembelajaran yang berbeda. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diberikan dengan cara berbeda ke mahasiswa dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Diferensiasi proses yang dilakukan meliputi proses mengamati, melakukan dan merefleksi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa kependidikan khususnya mahasiswa program studi pendidikan guru sekolah dasar Penelitian dilakukan selama 1 semester. Keberhasilan penelitian meliputi empat indikator, yaitu: modifikasi materi, penggunaan teknologi, penugasan dan proyek, dan umpan balik yang berkelanjutan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah (1) modifikasi materi (85 persen kategori baik sekali ), (2) penggunaan teknologi (92 persen kategori baik sekali), (3) penugasan dan proyek (89 persen kategori baik sekali) dan umpan balik yang berkelanjutan (83 persen kategori baik). Hasil mencapai kategori baik dan sangat baik sebagai penentu keberhasilan penelitian.
