Abstract

Artikel ini membahas deskripsi pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Stimulus (PKMS) Tahun 2019 yang didanai oleh Kementerian Riset  Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi (RISTEKDIKTI). Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangani belum diterapkannya model pembelajaran yang menggunakan alqur’an sebagai sumber belajar IPA. Permasalahan pritoritas mitra yaitu guru belum mengetahui konseptual model belajar siswa aktif dengan pendekatan ALSAK. Selain itu, guru belum mengetahui perencanaa, pelaksanaan, dan penyusunan sumber serta instrument evaluasi. Solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu memberikan pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran model ALSAK untuk guru MI di Tamrinussibyan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKMS ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, workshop, peerteaching, dan penugasan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan yaitu Juni-Agustus 2019. Luaran kegiatan ini  yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan guru MI dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran sebsesar 80%, melaksanakan pembelajaran sebesar 70% dan menyusun sumber belajar serta instrument evaluasi sebesar 70%. Selain itu, luaran kegiatan PKMS ini berupa publikasi media massa berupa koran suara merdeka, video pelaksanaan, dan artikel.

Abstract

The results of education in Indonesia are considered unsuccessful, especially at the primary and secondary levels. The Program for International Students Assessment (PISA) assessment of the literacy abilities (mathematics, science, and language) of students from around the world respectively in 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2012. The purpose of this study was to develop a science comic module media approach. STEM for grade V students. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The development model used is 4D from Thiagarajan (1974). The sample technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The research results obtained (1) MOKOSA media needs to be developed based on a preliminary study, there is no media that packs comics and STEM. (2) STEM-based MOKOSA is feasible and valid based on the results of media validation, material and student responses with very good categoriesKeywords: Development, MOSAKO, STEM, Literacy, Elementary School

Abstract

Salah satu cara pengajaran matematika yang dapat memenuhi penguasaan berhitung adalah menggunakan jarimatika. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman dan keterampilan ibu-ibu majelis ta’lim Azziyadah Taraban melalui pelatihan pembelajaran dasar-dasar berhitung cepat jarimatika. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah ceramah dan demonstrasi. Pelatihan ini ditujukan bagi ibu-ibu majelis ta’lim Azziyadah Taraban. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan selama pelatihan, peserta memenuhi 70% memahami menggunakan metode jarimatika dalam berhitung, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mampu menggunakan metode jarimatika dalam berhitung penjumlahan, pengurangan dan perkalian. Program kegiatan ini telah memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar bagi peserta untuk memberikan pembelajaran anak bagi anak-anak di rumah, sehingga anak lebih mudah memahami cara berhitung cepat dengan menggunakan jari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan bahan ajar yang belum bervariatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan media student worksheet berbasis pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing untuk siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPA yang efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4D dari Thiagarajan (1974). Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu purpossive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji banding Independent T-Test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) student worksheet IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing layak dan valid digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi media, materi dan respon siswa sebesar 4,85, 4,78 dan 4,45 dengan kategori sangat baik. (2) Student worksheet IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing efektif digunakan ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t-test diperoleh nilai thitung 4,027 dengan signifikansi 5% dan ttabel adalah 1,711

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan instrument evaluasi PPDB sistem zonasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4D dari Thiagarajan (1974). Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu purpossive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) Instrumen  dikembangkan berdasarkan studi pendahuluan belum ada dan perlu dikembangkan untuk melakukan evaluasi. (2) Instrumen evaluasi model CIPP yang dikembangkan  layak dan valid digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli evaluasi, ahli pengukuran dan praktisi sekolah dengan kategori  baik Kata-kata kunci : Pengembangan, Instrumen, Evaluasi, PPDB; Zonasi; CIPP

Abstract

The primary issue identified in this study pertained to the suboptimal enhancement of several proficiencies, including creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities, among aspiring educators. The primary objective of this research was to provide a comprehensive description and analysis of the efficacy of ethnoscience learning in enhancing the cognitive abilities of aspiring educators, specifically in the domains of creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The research design encompassed three distinct steps, specifically: 1) the collection of qualitative data, 2) the implementation of treatments, and 3) the undertaking of post-intervention qualitative investigations. A total of 120 preservice teachers in their third semester of elementary school were chosen as the sample for this study. The data was obtained by means of surveys, observations, interviews, essay examinations designed to assess creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, and observation sheets used to evaluate communication skills. The quantitative data were subjected to statistical analysis using an independent t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The utilisation of ethnoscience learning has demonstrated its efficacy in enhancing cognitive abilities such as creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Abstract

The implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) in schools needs to be implemented optimally to instill Pancasila values ​​in students. This study aims to find the effect of the implementation of the Traditional Games Activities (TGA)-based Word Square model in maximizing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at Ta'allumul Huda Bumiayu Islamic Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of Ta'allumul Huda Bumiayu Islamic Elementary School. Data collection in this study was observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity techniques used source triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that through the implementation of TGA-based Word Square, students were able to achieve five of the six P5 dimensions based on the achievement of their indicators. Another P5 dimension, namely the critical thinking dimension, has not been achieved well as seen from the achievement of its indicators. This is evidenced by the achievement of cognitive factors of student groups showing that the average score of students’ answers at each game post is still below the minimum standard for the subjects of Social Sciences, Indonesian, and Religion. Psychological factors also affect students’ moods which change quickly, thus affecting the unstable level of focus on several game activities given.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of integrated science learning on improving problem-solving and communication skills of prospective teachers. The research method is a non-equivalent group design experiment. This study involved 95 prospective teachers from three universities in Java. Communication data was measured using an observation sheet and problem-solving data was measured using a descriptive test instrument. The instrument has been assessed by experts in the field of science learning. The 21-item descriptive test instrument meets the assumption of the mean square MNSQ fit models in the range of 0.77-1.33. The data collection techniques used were tests and observations. The instruments used were problem-solving tests and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used were independent t-tests. The results of this study showed differences in problem-solving skills and communication skills of students who used modules and those who did not. Based on the significance value, it is concluded that there is a difference between the control class and the experimental class based on significance value < 0.05. The achievement of prospective science teachers is good. The aspects of understanding, planning, and solving problems are good. However, the evaluation thinking aspect is not optimal. The communication achievement skills of seven aspects, namely messages, message forms, channels, noise, context, impact, and ethics are good. Meanwhile, the competency aspect is not optimal.
