Abstract

Utilization Learning Management System in college used to improve learning services to students. The purpose of this study to examine the variables and indicators that affect the success of LMS systems with exelsa USD as a case study. The model used in this study was adapted from the model of success of DeLone-McLean. Questionnaires were distributed to the students and the samples taken by stratified random sampling, and obtained 448 respondents. Data were processed using Structured Equation Modeling, and conducted tests on the measurement model and the model structure. The variables used in this study is the quality system, the quality of information, emakaian, user satisfaction, individual impact and organizational impact. From the results of this study showed that the quality system and quality of existing information on LMS exelsa very influential on the use and satisfaction of users, the use of the system is not felt by the wearer have a positive impact on the individual, but the satisfaction in use that have a positive impact on individuals, as well as the individual impact seen also influence / impact positively on the organization (in this case the university).

Abstract

The education sector is one of the areas that has been most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools, which normally hold offline meetings, must now take place online. With this pandemic, the teaching process must be "forced" to be done online. The task model which is usually given in physical mode (questions on paper, done and collected) is no longer relevant to be done because of the limitations of physical meetings. On the other hand, students need an explanation from the teacher directly because they are used to the context of offline learning. Judging from the current level of smartphone ownership, whether owned by students themselves or their parents, we can use smartphone devices to help the teaching and learning process. But of course it requires technological literacy from the student side and the teacher side so that this teaching and learning process can be carried out properly. As a form of concern for the academic community of the Informatics Study Program at Sanata Dharma University to the problems that exist in the environment around the campus, we held training activities for making teaching media for State Elementary School of Timbulharjo teachers who ultimately played an important role in improving teachers' technological literacy in carrying out online learning. This activity had been carried out well offline in 2 stages, namely stage 1 on 9 and 10 June 2021 and stage 2 on 22 and 23 November 2021.

Abstract

Abstract — This study evaluates the efficiency and sustainability of using a waste cooking oil stove for heating water in a household setting. In the tests conducted, the waste cooking oil stove successfully heated 500 ml of water from 30°C to 100°C in 9 minutes, with a heating power of approximately 270 watts. The consumption of waste cooking oil as fuel was recorded at 100 ml per hour of operation, demonstrating the potential of waste cooking oil as an economical and eco-friendly alternative fuel. However, the use of tissue paper as an initial heating aid produced residue that required routine cleaning of the stove's burner. It is recommended to develop a more efficient and cleaner initial heating mechanism, such as integrating an electric heating element or using ignition materials that do not leave residue. Additionally, designing an easily cleanable burner and optimizing airflow are suggested to improve user convenience and efficiency. With the implementation of these recommendations, the waste cooking oil stove can become a more practical and environmentally friendly fuel solution for households.   Abstrak—Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efisiensi dan keberlanjutan penggunaan kompor minyak jelantah untuk pemanasan air dalam skala rumah tangga. Dalam pengujian, kompor minyak jelantah berhasil memanaskan 500 ml air dari suhu 30°C hingga 100°C dalam waktu 9 menit, dengan daya pemanasan sekitar 270 watt. Konsumsi minyak jelantah sebagai bahan bakar tercatat sebesar 100 ml per jam operasi, menunjukkan potensi penggunaan minyak jelantah sebagai alternatif bahan bakar yang hemat dan ramah lingkungan. Namun, penggunaan tisu sebagai pemanas awal menimbulkan residu yang memerlukan pembersihan rutin pada tungku kompor. Disarankan pengembangan mekanisme pemanasan awal yang lebih bersih dan efisien, seperti integrasi elemen pemanas listrik atau penggunaan bahan pemantik yang tidak meninggalkan residu. Desain tungku yang mudah dibersihkan dan optimasi aliran udara juga diusulkan untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan dan efisiensi penggunaan. Dengan penerapan saran-saran ini, diharapkan kompor minyak jelantah dapat menjadi solusi bahan bakar yang lebih praktis dan ramah lingkungan bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

TOM is a vegetable supplier to various Yogyakarta supermarkets. During this time, C. V. TOM was unable to meet market demand due to fluctuations in demand. CV. TOM needs time to extend the product in advance from partner farmers, so it is important that C.V. TOM in order to be able to estimate the demand for vegetables to be delivered in the future. These problems should be investigated using forcasting methods to ensure that C.V. TOM fully meets the needs of the market. The forecasting method used here is the multiplicative Holt-Winter method, as the processed data are not stationary or fluctuating product demand data. In the Holt-Winter algorithm, the parameters α, β, ɣ must be determined first. This determination is random and therefore does not necessarily lead to an accurate forecast. In this study, the parameter values α, β, ɣ ​​are searched using a genetic algorithm. Here we use genetic operators, namely single point crossing and reverse mutation. The fitness function used is the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), the higher the value, the lower the fitness value. The result of this research α = 0.1119; β = 0.1884 and ɣ = 0.9186 at 5.0571% of MAPE, which means that the predictions are very accurate. This condition can be achieved using the parameters of the genetic algorithm, namely the probability of mutation/crossover = 0.013, the number of chromosomes = 10 and the number of generations is 500
